Flouncy Castle

This look is one of those times where you throw fashion spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. 


What stuck today was Lilac, ruffles and leather apparently. 

I've never styled these trousers. I've always found them a bit weird. They've got gothic romance, but they're also risque and utterly impractical too. Got to keep the outer sides of your thighs covered, but you only need to vaguely cover the rest...naturally.

That said, I really like them with this equally impractical floaty, diaphanous lilac top from Nelly. I'd have never bought this if it wasn't for the round up of styled looks on here a little while ago. White it doesn't have a tonne of possibilities, it's just so pretty! Good enough for me!
