P E A R L S | Styled Outfits

We got a brand new PEARLS release in the Plaza a couple of weeks back and I picked up some new pieces to try out for the Autumn! I've felt PEARLS releases can be a bit hit or miss, but I managed to find 3 things I liked with this one, so this one's not too bad I'd say:
First up is the Metallic Skirt which I was a little hesitant about at first, but once I got it into my suite and could resize it and try it with a few things, I really changed my mind and was so pleased that I bought it! I love the off-gold colour to it, it makes it quite a different addition to my wardrobe, and I think the darker tone works great for Autumn. I'm pretty pleased with this outfit I put together for it, I think the colour works nicely with the jacket, particularly the trim on the neckline, and the styles also look good together. The accessories are minimal but fitting with the clothing colours, the gold heels are a fun lighter touch along with the necklace and glasses, I love this bag with the styling, the dark colour looks great against the golds. I think this skirt could become a firm favourite this upcoming Autumn season! Next is the Polkadot Skirt, which I loved immediately when seeing it in the store, but actually this was the most difficult piece to style, I just couldn't find anything I liked to work perfectly with it - I think this look is alright, but for sure not my favourite and I think the skirt can look much better in a different way. I opted to use a lot of black pieces playing from the hem of the skirt and I think that's worked quite nicely to make for a Summery styling, I just think I could have used more beige tones to highlight that part of the skirt, but I didn't have anything that matched well. I do really love this belt with the skirt though, it has some line details on it which I think look very nice with the pleats on the skirt, so that is a nice touch^ And the final outfit with the Polkadot Shoes, these are such a cute pair of shoes, I'm excited to style them up some more too. I really liked the idea of them with more polka dots, these trousers make for such a fun pairing I think, and the colours of the two are a pretty good match. This top is also a decent colour match with the black trim working with the polka dots. I made the look more Autumnal with a coat, I think the black contrast looks pretty nice with the pale pink/beige tone, and I rounded up with accessories to match both colours in the look. I think this is a pretty cute styling that I will for sure be wearing again - without the coat it would be sweet for Spring^

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 28

Continuing on with my little weekend trend revisiting LE collections - now onto the 28th Collection from May 2016. This one is a little smaller of a styling set as the next post will be rather long (I really loved the 29th collection apparently!) - but some great pieces to remember in this collection! I love the Parisian night theme of this release, the interior from the collection is beautiful and I really think the pieces are all perfect there. This is a pretty hefty sized collection in itself, there were 3 floors with 22 looks and also a male look included. I used to have many more pieces from the collection but have sold some on after not wearing them so much, and I'd say there's a couple of pieces I'd like to try out so I will be headed to the Bazaar soon to try my hand at finding them! But for now, let's see what pieces I've styled today:
First up are the Gold Lace Lattice Heels which have been quite a staple in my gold-heel collection, they're super easy to style - I have a few go-to pieces I often style these with, so this time I tried to veer away from that to make something different and I'm pretty happy with the look I've gone with. This ruffle-style dress is such a fun piece to wear, this time I resized it down to be a midi skirt which is such a fun idea! I paired it with a simple shirt and neutral coat so the focus is on the gold and I really think it works, especially with the other gold accessories I've added to the styling. It seems quite a simple one, but I think it's effective and uses the dress in a bit of a different way than I normally do as well. And then are the Wide Stripe Chic Pants which also have gold in them - I have often worn these with the heels too, so I also stayed away from that combination! I really like these trousers, I'm surprised that I don't see them styled more on other dolls. This combination is new for me, I thought I would try out this navy gold detailed sheer top as the colours are matching up very nicely to the trousers, and I'm surprised how well it worked and how much I like it^ The deep v neckline is a little revealing, but I've added more gold with some jewellery pieces which I think work nicely also with the detailed design on the top =)
And for the second set of stylings, firstly the LE Styled Suit Pants, which I thought might be trickier to make stand out in a styling but I think they look pretty good and I'm pleased with this outfit. I went a little glam with this one, this beaded sheer top is such a cute piece, I love the off-shoulder strap on one side. It is very sheer, but I think a black bra works nicely underneath. With the beads on the top I kept with a silver detail on the shoes, I'm not sure I've worn these ones before but I love them in this look, they're such a glamorous pair! A handheld jacket and beaded bag, along with some sparkly earrings complete the outfit well - could do with a necklace though^ Last but not least is the Pure Silk Cami, which I've worn a couple of times over the years, but I absolutely adore this styling, it's my favourite in this post! These trousers are a great colour match for the pink of the top, and the styles are very nice together. I used the black trim of the top for accessories and I'm really loving the contrast with the pale pink, I really love it^ The bag is such a fun addition with the jewelled design, it really adds a more glamorous feel and catches a little attention in the styling =D

Suite Style

Wow it's been a long time since I featured a Suite on the blog, the hiatus has been broken by this fabulous design from HAITIAN-QUEEN. with this art-filled living space, I love it! The interior is a new one from Villa which has been designed as a bathroom, but looks great as other rooms too - the light walls and wooden flooring along with the bright light from the ceiling and wall-floor window make it an easy room to convert to whatever you would like, and this styling completely inspires me to give it a go myself! The light sofa is a seamless choice, it's super cosy with the cushions and throw, and fits the centre wall perfectly to be the focus of the room. I love the split between having one half of the room then fairly minimal, making use of this plant wall alongside the window, then the other is filled with art pieces. There's a great mix in the styles, and I also love the contrasting addition of this black marble table, something completely different in style, but still works to make a great room. I love it =)

C H A N E L I N S P I R E D M U L E S R E D + H O T B U Y S R E D B E L T B A G | Styled By Me / / Styled By You

I thought this styling of both the Chanel Inspired Mules Red and Hotbuys Red Belt Bag from Millaxx was just super, the two go together perfectly from a colour-matching point of view, and I think the styles are also pretty nice. This dress is a fun way to work with both pieces, the red isn't too bright either in the plaid design or in the track-top design, so I think it's perfect for highlighting the bag against - it looks great sized up and slung over the should like this^ The skirt length is perfect at the ankles to highlight the shoes, which make for a great Summery styling of the dress. I thought this would also therefore give me the perfect opportunity to style up the shoes myself - fitting nicely with the earlier '3 BY 3' post and getting in another pair of Chanel sandals. I initially wasn't sure if I also wanted to include the bag, however in the end I was very happy with my look including the bag, so it had to be done! But it also highlights this as a great Summer pairing, so I'll likely repeat. I ended up styling 3 or 4 looks with these accessory pieces and was quite indecisive about which I liked best, in the end I thought this top was a fabulous and underrated piece that deserved some of the spotlight, the colour is great with the accessories and the design is fun! There's not really scope to add a sweater or jacket with these wide sleeves, so I kept it without to show them off. The neutral trousers are perfect for colour balancing, and the length is great to make sure the shoes still get some focus. I added some minimal earrings to work with the trousers and I love them as a finishing touch =)

Satin finish

I love these satin booties and just thought this styling from kate17elegante including them was super cool that I had to share it =) The texture contrast between the satin and the leather of this vest looks great, the two are a surprise fit, I think it looks great. I also love the use of this chiffon puff sleeve top, the sleeves are great against the vest too, and the addition of the pearl necklace piece is such a great idea to the sleeves, it looks fab! The lace up skirt has a cute little glimpse there under the vest and works well with the boots - a super fun styling =D
