Post Soviet Aesthetics on the Fashion Week

Next up in the "Brand Fever" is Balenciaga.

Balenciaga Fashion House began its history back in 1917, with Cristobal Balenciaga being often called an ascetic and a rebel of high fashion. While Christian Dior drove women into wearing corsets, Cristobal created silhouettes with square shoulders, with an unnaturally high (or low) waistline.
As a result, absolutely remarkable shapes were born, which will forever remain in the women's wardrobe.

“I don’t like to set any limits. If you set a limit you won’t be able to transcend it.”
– Cristóbal Balenciaga

Now, Balenciaga is among the most famous and hotly discussed fashion brands in the world. Such epithets as "outrageous", "rebellious" and even sometimes "tasteless" and "scary" have become firmly entrenched behind it.

In my opinion, under Demna's supervision, Balenciaga got its "second breath". Demna's vision had infiltrated fashion, streetwear and everything in between. As he said in one of the interviews, he draws his inspiration mainly from his grandmother. In his creations you can see a lot of prints and fabrics that were popular on the territory of the former Soviet Union. Demna literally gave a new life to these fabrics and prints.

This look is not an exception, here I combined elements such as silver boots, which are an accent piece of clothing by their own, with streetwear elements, as a result of which a harmonious look in the Balenciaga style was created.
