I N S P I R E D B Y D R I E S V A N N O T E N | Styled Outfits

Onto the second Tribute of the Summer 2025 season, Dries Van Noten, and I can honestly say I had such a good time styling this collection - it was a challenge but a really good one that I could get my teeth stuck into and it really got my creative-styling side flowing! First up is the Beaded Net Top, with the peach coloured beads this was the colour I knew I wanted to focus on in the outfit. An all peach look wasn't quite working for the top and I think that was down to their being a lot of black in the look, so I balanced it out and I'm pretty pleased with the result. The black trousers ended up working well because the bead colours really pop on the dark base which I think serves well for the added peach accessories. Next is the Black Beaded Jacket which really reminded me pieces from the early Tribute releases and something just told me I had to have it! This was the piece I spent the longest with because it was hard to decide what to go for - originally I wanted something with sheer elements to the skirting, but I wasn't very happy with how the options were going, so I turned to glittery pieces and this skirt just looks fabulous! Not only does it match with the glitter but I love the ombre of colours ending in black at the bottom, the perfect balance. Super simple in accessories, but I knew I wanted more glitter and this silver bag is perfection here, I love the pairing of it and I really love this outfit, something different for me and even different from my usual dressed up glam styled looks^
Then in the next set, first up are the Tied Brown Belt and Teal Pants paired together - I am so in love with this look, I think it's perfect for Autumn and I'm feeling so inspired by this brown shade! The print on the trousers made it easy to use the belt and the rest of the browns of course had to match. I had been trying this shirt on for a different set of stylings so it was right at the front of my closet and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to wear it with this look! Choosing shoes and a bag to match were easy from there and I kept a little more blue with the glasses, I think overall it's a perfect balance of colours and I just love this outfit XD Second is the Winged Top which I thought was super cute on first look at the release - it was a little harder to style than I had first thought it might be, but the purple and golden design gave quite a few options and I ended up playing with both for a great outcome, I'm so pleased! I was struggling for a jacket or coat to wear because I didn't want to go too purple and I'd already selected these trousers and the accessories, luckily I stumbled across this light brown one in my closet, and it's so perfect not only in colour but also in shape and fit on the doll, the hanging-off-the-arms style. After styling this outfit I was really feeling so inspired^ And last but not least, the Cut Out Maxi Skirt in what was the quickest look to come together, this piece was super easy to style. I knew I wanted light beige tones to go with the skirt pattern, and this sweater is a perfect match, along with these sweet heels. I added a little blue with the bag but otherwise kept it light and neutral - again another great outfit for the Autumn and I can't wait to repeat this one as well =D

I N S P I R E D B Y A L A I A | Styled Outfits

Excited to finally share my looks from the first Tribute of the Summer 2025 season, Alaia! I really enjoyed working with these pieces and I'm already excited to style them again in other looks. I did pick up a couple of other pieces which I'm sure will eventually be included in other stylings. First up is the Periwinkle Crop Windbreaker. Love the colour of this a lot and really enjoyed working with it - I'm super happy I had some accessories that matched this colour well, I really love this pairing. Blue and white are great together, so choosing finishing touches for the look was easy - these white trousers have a nice pleated design which I like with the gathering of the top. Next up is the Ruffle Denim Skirt, thought this was such a cute piece and excited to style it - and coincidentally it's almost the opposite of the first styling! Blue on the bottom with white added this time. I did find this piece a little tricker to style than I had imagined it would be, not sure why, but I was quite indecisive with choosing what to pair with it. In the end, I'm very happy with the styling, white pieces will never not go with denim - I especially like my accessories with this one, think these shoes are great with the ruffle design of the skirt and love the slim silver belt here. And the third look uses the Yellow Wave Shirt, which I wanted to highlight on it's own without it's co-ord piece, and honestly I love this look so so much^ With the pleats of the top I wanted to keep pleats in the skirt and love the colour combination of yellow and brown, these pieces are so perfect together. Accessories came quickly to the styling, I knew I wanted more neutral pieces with these shoes and this bag easily slipping into the style. Such a dreamy styling and I'm dying to repeat-wear already =D
In the second set of outfits we start with the Pink Aviators and Maroon Le Coeur Bag and it had to be all about the burgundy here - this is such a fun Autumnal outfit! With the bag I knew I wanted to wear these trousers, the colour has a slight contrast but I really love the pairing, the shoes came quickly because they're a perfect colour match to the bag. I did umm and ahh over what top to pick, in the end, a little valentines theme to match the heart of the bag, this adds some lightness to the look and with the lighter colour added, I think it was a good fit to then add the glasses. I'll bring this look back out next February! And for the final styling the Exagurated Denim Pants and Red Le Coeur Heels together - with jeans now I definitely prefer a looser fit, and these are quite unique to the Plaza, I think they look great on and work well with both slimmed and oversized looks overall. I wanted to get another piece that I bought into the look and I think the dark denim works well with red, so of course my favourite red top came out as well, I think it looks great here. Accessories were simple and I stuck with the heart theme from the shoes with this gold necklace and bag, I really like these pieces together and I love the overall look for more casual vibes^

A N T I D O T E | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

The end of August brought a new Antidote release to the Plaza - a 3 floor store filled with 16 looks and pieces available for both male and female dolls. For me, the Antidote releases used to be good way back in the day, but the ones over the past few years have been quite mixed, and the direction of the store vibes seems to change all the time. This time for me felt like quite a nice collection of pieces as a whole - no, not everything is my style and lots of things I wouldn't so much wear, but I think as a whole this collection works and there are a good mix of versatile pieces (both clothes and accessories) along with more one-off items. First up, the features - harpie styles up the Asymmetrical Pleated Dress, I really like the overall design and colours of this piece. While it isn't so much my style, I love how it looks in this styling! The tight fitting makes it a great piece for layering, and this skirt looks beautiful with the yellow of the sleeve keeping the blue as a popping standout colour. The accessories are all beautiful and fitting, I especially love these shoes and the intricate bracelet here with the clothing =)
Next is miloshki wearing the Drop Waist Charcoal Dress, Book Stack Bag and Gold Bee Hairpin - such a cute vintage styling, really love this! The dress being sleeveless gives so many options for layering underneath, this shirt with voluminous sleeves is perfect and also pairs well with the white collar of the dress. The accessories are a beautiful combination, it's all about the vintage - from the beret with the pin, the headscarf, the bag combo and the checked shoes ... so much love for all these pieces together (and also feeling regret that I had this necklace and sold it XD)!
And then we have sarah_1980 who wears a whole outfit from the collection, with the White Mini Dress, Cheetah Collar, Snake Skirt, Beaded Olive Purse and Crescent Moon Kitten Heels. I think this highlights well how versatile the pieces are because these items were all styled separately in the store but look great together! The length of the dress is a great one for layering skirts underneath and I think this midi-length around the knees is perfect. The mix of animal prints also works out well, the pieces are far enough away and the white gives a solid base for both to get their own moment to shine in the styling^
And now for my own looks - I was a little late to the release so a few things were already sold out, but I actually still had a lot to choose from, in the end I chose 3 pieces. First up is the Moon Sweater, I think this is a sweet piece and I like the muted colours along with the small brown/orange star details agains the blue. When I saw the piece I knew I wanted to style it with white on the bottom and blue and brown/orange accessories and so I did just that! These trousers are a great fit with the hemline of the top, I think the loose fit works well with the fit of the top too. Accessories were hard to choose because I had a lot of options to choose between! But I'm happy with the final choices, these heels are almost a perfect match for the top and I picked this mixed bag to bring a little of that brown into the rest of the styling and I really like that touch to the look. Super cute overall^ Then I paired the White Pleated Skirt and Beaded Olive Purse together because all I could think about was wearing these green boots and they just went perfectly with the skirt too. This was super easy to put together, I knew I wanted to go with an oversized top and tried quite a few out, but this white shirt just gave the perfect base to let the green shine. Completed the look with more green accessories and love it so much =)

I N S P I R E D B Y R O B E R T W U N | Styled By You

For me, this final Tribute of the season was a bit of an anticlimax - I thought we built pretty well with the first 4, got a really good mix of pieces and designs and styles and colours and then we've ended without something equally fabulous to round it off. It does perhaps feel like Tributes Gallery should have come last as it has in previous years when it's been released. So I don't have a full review of the Robert Wun - who has Couture collections as you may have guessed, while I like some Couture, this isn't my thing - but I did find a few very nice stylings on you guys that I had to share.
First up is Bianca.Vos wearing the Loopy Blazer and I love this look, I think it's great at selling this piece - I was shocked to see that the black tulle looping didn't come with the piece, but that's because it's a completely different item, the pieces are so perfect together, I love the pairing! The sheer bike shorts are a fab addition to the tulle looping as well. I like the shirt collar and tie added, I think the blazer looks much better without the oversized collar ontop as it's styled in store, I think this is much more complementary for the piece. Accessories are minimal yet very fitting - it's all about that looped design!
Next up is Fergaysson styling the Yellow Pink Ombre Tights - even though in a release like this the accessories can usually work in many ways, there actually aren't a huge number or range of accessories in this release, I think this is the best choice! As a big yellow fan, I'm here for the addition of even more yellow with the tights, these shoes and the bag are absolutely perfect and that's a combination that you can definitely build a look around. This bright multicoloured dress is a great option, it uses the colours of the tights and is a perfect tie-in, plus the big bow is a nice addition, the black in the dress is perfect for including it^
And then we have Miloshki, also styling up an accessory, the Red Veiled Hat - this is the sort of piece that I see and think 'how can that work out?', well never fear, Miloshki usually always has the answer and makes these pieces look fab! The sheer tulle veil looks great with the red strands of the dress and the nude base of the dress is perfect for the tulle to really pop and get noticed in the look. I love the mix of reds used as well, these boots look great! Also the bag is a great addition, the red text pairs it well with the rest of the look and I think the yellow base is a nice touch =)
