L O E W E | Styled Outfits

Styling up the final release from this past Winter tribute season - Loewe, which was a release I really wanted to love, but it wasn't quite as good as I was maybe hoping. However I still made some purchases of pieces that I think will be quite versatile for styling. First up is the Purple Bow Dress, something just drew me in to this piece, not sure what it was but I felt like I would regret not getting it! It's definitely more a statement piece to add accessories to and I stuck super simple with black pieces to pair with the bow belt. I did try to pick out a bag to match the purple shade but I didn't quite have anything in the right colour. I really like the look though and I will wear the piece again. Next are the White Mini Skirt and LOEWE Flower Bag worn together - these are definitely some of the more versatile pieces, there's so many ways you can wear the skirt! I kept it super simple and used just the white and light brown from the pieces and I love the outcome. This top is a great fit and I kept it more Autumnal with the long boots. Plus so glad I had some earrings that perfectly matched the colour, they are fab here^ And the third look uses the Red Armless Sweater which I think is a really fun piece and I love the large gold buttons down the front. I stuck with red and gold for my look and I love the outcome of these boots and the skirt with the open knit. I think this will make for some really nice Autumn/Winter looks this coming season.
And onto my next three looks, first here are the LOEWE Flower Black Sunglasses and Double Belt Denims, I kept it super simple but wanted to try and make the dark denim and black belt combo work for a more Summer styling - I'm very happy with the outcome, I think this wide neckline top is a great fit for that and kept the accessories minimal. Really loved wearing the sunglasses too, they definitely add a fun touch to a styling. Next is the Brown Leather Structured Jacket which I do think I was apprehensive about styling, but I think this might be my favourite look from this post! Brown can work for Summer stylings too. I knew I wanted light trousers for the clothes additions and these ones are such a perfect choice. The brown accessories fell into place after that, such an easy piece to style and looks super chic but also unique - so so in love with this one, don't want to take it off! And finally, the Rhinestone Striped Shirt and White Feather Skirt, both super cute pieces that will look great individually but I wanted to try out together. I think they do work nicely, but will stand out better alone. I added pearls as details and I love these heels and the bag with the skirt a lot. With those black accessories already chosen I added a black jacket which I do think ties the look together really nicely, but I'm just feeling a little lack of purple, needs more purple next time for sure^

T H E R O W | Styled Outfits

Better late than never, right?! Finally sharing my outfits from The Row release - which was like a perfect release for me, some great colours and a nice mix of styles and designs to choose from. I did also pick up the Black Tied Sleeve Dress and Black And White Jacket - the dress I struggled with in a way to highlight it's features, and the coat is such an Autumn/Winter piece that I'm saving it for that season. So first up is the Black Voluminous Top and Belt, I think the top works well without the belt too, but I do like it with it. I wanted contrasting colours so that the volume would really stand out in the look, and I think I achieved that with the white miniskirt and polo. I ended up choosing pearl elements across the accessories and I think it works quite well with the top. Next is the Red Blue Checkered Skirt and I loved working with this so much, I can't wait to style it again already! Navy and red additions were the obvious choice, and I went for both of them. I love the balance in the colours and have so many more pieces that will go with this skirt in similar styles. Definitely a more Autumn/Winter style so I think I'll bring it out again then.
Next up are the pieces that caught my eye first in the release. First is the Cream Top which is such a perfect shade of yellow that I had too many options to pair with it! I love yellow with blue, these trousers are a perfect style fit for the top. Accessories were easy to add, the other light yellow pieces are amazing with the top and I kept a casual vibe with the shoes - I think these tie everything together pretty well. Really love this look a lot. And then finally is the Oversized Pink Shirt in another styling that I adore, a super fun mix of styles in something a little more bold for me^ I knew I wanted to add more pinks to the look and these trousers are such a fun fit. Had to keep up the glam with the accessories, these heels and the the clutch are a perfect colour match with the shirt, that's a pairing I'll wear again for sure!

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N #54 | Release Review

I just looked back, and wow, it's been 7 months since our last LE release - this weekend it was time for LE54! There were some technical issues with the site so the release was delayed a few hours, luckily I still had time to check it all out and get the pieces that I wanted. From the advertising the release did look a little Wintery with the fur coat special offer gift and the blue/lilac tones, but let's get on in and see the store:
As is pretty standard for releases these days, there are 3 floors and a total of 15 looks available. A selection of pieces also have a male option, but only the female option is shown in the store. Overall I quite like the vibes, I like the light tones and fabrics and I think there are a good mix of options and styles to choose from. However it's all very dressy and still gown-focused - it blends with at least the last 4 or 5 LE releases as there's not a lot different between them. I'd like to see more versatility between LE collections - we have Young Hollywood for the gowns and red-carpet styles, but classic LE was much more wearable and I'd like to see releases get back to that.
First up with the accessories. There are 6 pairs of shoes in the release and I do think they give a range of styles to choose from. I love the idea of the La Sculpture Leather Mules, love the mule style as a whole, and these have a unique silver studded design on the heel. I just don't love the fit of them on the doll. I did however pick up both the metallic heel options, the Metallic Bow Heels in a fantastic bright gold with a super sweet bow, and the Metallic Leather Mules in a more muted silver with a fab pointed toe and kitten heel. The silver is definitely more wearable but I just thought the gold with the bow was a super cute choice^ For bags there are 5 in the store, and I think they're all pretty good choices but all on the smaller side. I picked up 2 of these and I'm really happy with my choices - I got the Foam Beaded Bag, which was sold for 5SD and a high limit of 5000 after the site and release issues, but I liked it anyway for the lovely brown colour and the unique bead design, I think it will make some nice Autumnal looks. And I also got the Zandra Embellished Satin Clutch - now old-time members, do we not think this is super reminiscent of the first Young Hollywood release?!? I had some regrets about bags from that release and not getting them, so when I saw this and was immediately reminded of that time, I had to pick it up! Super neutral colour and a little bit of glamour, I think it will work in many different outfits. There are some other accessory pieces as well, I loved the belts this time around and picked up both - the Chain Belt and the Feather Belt. I think both look versatile and will be easy to include in outfits. There are also jewellery items, which are all very glamorous - the White Topaz Earrings stood out to me a lot, I wear white earrings a lot and I love a good dangly option so these feel like a solid versatile choice for my wardrobe. The Golden Strada Earrings were also a tempting choice, however these didn't really stand out when I tried them on. The No5 Diamond Necklace is a pretty standout piece, not so much a piece for everyday looks, but I think it's a pretty good 'un for a necklace collection - but it sold out super fast, so it was popular!
Onto the clothing, which I'll go through by floor. On the first floor all those fabulous blues really caught my attention - I'm a fan! The Navy Jacket was the first piece that caught my eye and I bought it immediately, I love a good blazer and this one is so unique with the tulle section around the upper arms, it looks fantastic. With the mix of dark and light this will give an easier way to pair it with different colours for stylings. The Sheer Train Top also uses navy but pairs it with sheer tulle, this also has a unique design to it with one shoulder flowing across the body into the train. I really quite like it and I think it will work well in a range of styles. On a paler blue is the combination of the Ribbon Corset, Ruffle Shorts and Tulle Cape, this really just caught my eye immediately. I love the tulle, ruffles and feathers, super light and fun for Spring/Summer outfits and I just felt like I would have regrets if I didn't get these pieces - so I'm giving them a go! I think it was the contrast of the pale blue base with the black detailing that really attracted me to them. With the non-blue pieces on this floor I was super tempted by the Pink Crochet Dress, I love the design and the fit on the doll, but the pink colour didn't work so well with my dolls skin tone so I decided to give it a miss, which I might regret XD There are also two pairs of trousers here, the Beige Wide Trousers were quite tempting, but I have a few pairs in similar tones so decided to skip these this time, however I did pick up the Ecru Pleated Pants (which I thought was a maxi skirt at first), I think these will be great for light and airy Summer stylings and I knew this would be a huge regret if I didn't get them. The second floor is all about those light tones and I think this is a really nice floor with a good variety of styles and designs on offer. I loved the Ecru Jumpsuit in the Insta advertisement and knew I had to get it, and it definitely lives up to expectation, I really love this piece, it has a nice fit on the doll and it's versatile for adding to. I think this will be a really good year-round item to style. Following on from the feathers and the contrasting colours from the first floor, I also loved the Flowing White Dress, it's totally a wear-on-its-own type piece but I think it's super elegant and stunning, I had to give it a chance. I was also quite tempted by the Pocket Dress, love the voluminous skirting and the beautiful folded top corset but I just felt the pocket design might be a bit limiting. So I gave it a miss but I'm really looking forward to seeing how other dolls wear this piece. The final floor, I have to say, is my least favourite. It's quite a mix of vibrant extravagant pieces which are definitely in more exuberant styles which aren't so much mine. The only piece I was almost tempted by was the Gold Off The Shoulder Dress, it's stunning in design and I love the mix of gold and green but when I tried it on I found the neckline and waist really made my doll look wider than she is and found that really off-putting.

F E A T U R E S
First up is Fergaysson styling the Sheer Train Top. This is a great way to wear it, it really styles up the cargo-style shorts alongside the very glamorous accessories added in. I love the use of the chains around the neck and shoulder, they really look great with the print on the top and with the mesh strapping of the heels. Having some small regrets about not getting this piece now!
Next up is Mery.- who wears the Pink Crochet Dress, again I'm having some regrets about deciding not to get this piece, because this outfit is amazing! The layering is perfect for highlighting the design of the dress, the black bottoms with the floral mesh tights are fantastic on the bottom-half, while the collared white shirt is smart and perfectly preppy with the bow belting on the top. Adore these shoes in the outfit too, they are a stunning pair^
The final feature comes from Miloshki, wearing the Ribbon Corset - and no regrets here because I also bought this piece, this is such a stunning option for it =) The blue is perfect with that of the skirt and the high waist fit works with the hem of the corset. The black ribbon design is highlighted with the black accessories and the floral bralette, it's so perfect and looks like it was there all along! Plus look at that blue-eye beauty look, perfect match for the outfit =D

S T Y L I N G S
First up for my looks, the Ruffle ShortsTulle Cape and White Topaz Earrings - definitely a more rogue choice for my style but I loved the Chanel vibes too much to not get these pieces. I've kept it super minimalist without a lot of other additions, but focused on adding black to tie in with the cape bow and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think these pieces are versatile enough that they will work well separately too and I found a lot of accessories really did look good with them as well. Next I also picked up the Ribbon Corset, deciding to style it separately because as soon as I tried it on all I could think about was pairing it with these baby blue trousers that I have! The colours are absolutely spot on for each other and I couldn't resist adding the matching blazer for the trousers too, I think it really works well with the corset too and this is an outfit I'll repeat for sure. Again stuck with black for the accessories and had plenty of options to choose from - I think I got the colour balance just right.
Next up are the Ecru Pleated Pants which all I see are pink tones in, so I focused on pinks, reds and purples in my search for a look - this pleated blouse just looks fab with them! And of course from that combination I knew these shoes had to be added, I love them so much. Kept the accessories mixed light and dark and I think the balance is spot on for this look - I'm really excited for more Summer stylings with this piece. Then we have the Navy Jacket, which I fell in love with immediately and these trousers were the first thing that came to mind when I thought of styling it. I tried a few other options and quite a few pieces worked well, so there are more outfits to come from this piece for sure. The silver in the trousers balances with the tulle split and I've balanced with silver earrings, then gone for dark in the rest of the accessories. Again, I think I got the balance just right with the colour split. The final piece is the Ecru Jumpsuit, I just loved this piece in the advertising and knew I wanted to get it, I don't have anything else similar. I enjoyed styling this piece and tried to be a little more creative with it rather than just styling it with the belt it is styled with on the mannequin and I'm really happy with the outcome. I thought the buttons looked a tan tone so picked a belt that worked with that, I really like this tasseled option and the black it also adds was a good base for some accessories. I had stuck with Chanel vibes so chose Chanel for the shoes too, I really think these trainers are perfect for this piece, spot on with the jumpsuit colour and the little touches of black work again with the rest of the accessories. Again, an outfit I would totally repeat!
