Stardoll OOTM 2025 | Styled Outfits

A little resolution for 2026 - style the OOTM pieces as they come out! For 2025 I decided I'd just do one big post on the years releases at the end of the year, however I bought sooooo many pieces this year, we had some fantastic releases that I've totally been sat on. Now it's time to style them up - perhaps not all 37 items that I bought, but I'll make a good attempt to get through a lot of those:
First up the Grey Cashmere Sweater and Balmain Acrylic Bag, now for sure this sweater isn't something super out there or new in style or design but it's a classic and has a great fit on the doll. Grey is a colour I don't wear as much now, I just find it one of those colours a little harder to style but I did enjoy putting this look together and I think it's super cute! The collar really breaks up the colour and I love the fit of these loose trousers with the tighter style of the sweater. Accessorising was easy and I think the bag stands out nicely against the white, and added some fun sparkly heels and headband to complete the look, love this for me^ Next are a lot of pieces all in one, almost the whole look is from OOTM: the YSL Cateye Glasses, Double Shirt, Ys Chopped Square Bag and Marie Antoinette Pumps! These sunglasses are fantastic, beautiful style and I know they'll be a perfect addition to my collection. The shirt was super easy to style, with the white base and the black buttons, picking out matching pieces was quick, with the other OOTM items in front of me, lots of them work well with this piece. The shoulder bag design is fun to work with and I look forward to wearing it again, it might be a little restrictive on the size of the sleeve but I think it's a fun change to a handheld or crossbody piece. For the third look some of our more recent pieces, the Green Suede Purse and Green Dior Boots and I just love these items! Both are super stand out in our Plaza offerings and I really don't have anything hugely comparable to them, love the colour, design and fit on the doll of them. With the Dior of the boots I was keen to choose Dior in the rest of the outfit and I think I succeeded^ The layering of the yellow in the skirts is super fun with the green, not an exact colour match but I think it makes those accessories pop. Kept it simple on the top half and it really lets those accessories be highlighted.
Onto the second set and first here are the Jadior Chain Stack and Saint Laurent Bag, have to say I love the design of this bag so much, the slouched style just looks amazing. With the gold chain handle it was easy to also include one of the gold necklaces from the collection. I have just stuck with gold in the accessories but did try to get more gold in the look - I really need a fabulous pair of gold trousers! Anyway, this blouse with the specks of gold is a good option and keeps it classy. Next are the Layered Multi Chain, Posed Blazer and Brown Leather Purse together. I'm not so much into the posed pieces, but I wanted to give this one a go because I really liked the brown colour and the minimal style to the piece. With the brown gloves, I also knew I'd be able to style it as I have a lot of brown accessories. This look came together quickly and I did like styling the pose. All the additions are super simple and fitting with the style of the jacket, I really love this combination a lot. I'm especially loving this bag, to be honest I'd forgotten that I'd bought it and I haven't really seen it style but I think it looks fantastic, for sure will be wearing again this season! And thirdly here we have a pop of colour with the Gucci Red Glasses, Burgundy Gucci Bag and Versace Dark Red Platforms - we all know I can't resist red XD These pieces are super cute, and I know I'm not the biggest platform fan, but these looked great in the red and I wanted to give them a try. I knew I wanted to keep these accessories the focus so I didn't add any more red to the look, the navy is such a complementary colour and it really does it's job to let that red shine. This simple suit is perfect for a look idea like that^
And the final set of stylings, super contrasting to each other! First sparkly with the Bejeweled Tights and Versace Pink Slingbacks which are such a cute pairing, and honestly I had so many dresses out that looked great with these. In the end I decided to go all in with the glitter, this dress has a great colour-fit with the shoes and I have the perfect sparkly bag to add to it as well. Super simple but super fun! And last but not least, more on the cosy Winter casual vibes, the Vibskov Brown Shades, Embroidered Leather Jacket and Brown Prada Boots, such a fun look to put together. With the blue floral detail on the shoulder of the jacket my first thought was denim, so I was keen to wear jeans with it and love the tone of this pair with the jacket, think they're perfect! Balanced it out with brown accessories and I think these pieces all work really well with the clothing, honestly these boots in particular are a dream, beautiful design and they look fantastic on, I can tell I'll wear them a lot =D

G I F T - O - M E T E R | Styled Outfits

The Holiday Gift-O-Meter is here - spend up to 300SD in the Plaza and pick up some festive gifts along the way! With the release of Antidote this past weekend, my meter filled quickly and a lot of items landed in my Suite to style. I have to say I'm quite impressed with the pieces this year, sometimes there's been too much decor for me in the past, but this year there are plenty of clothes and accessories to work with:
First up are the Coral Earrings (80SD spend) and Tartan Trousers (120SD spend), and with a red tartan it has to be all out festive! This sweater was a great fit to really let the trousers be the red focus in the look and I balanced with additions in black plus a sweet red bag which I think works pretty well. These trousers have a really nice fit on the doll and I think will be brought out every Christmas season! Next the Coral Stone Necklace (80SD spend), Santa Baby Sweater (50SD spend) and Red Bow Purse (50SD spend), with the bow details on the sleeves, pairing the sweater and bag together had to be done, the necklace adds a little glam to the pairing. I did try out some red trousers and skirts, but nothing was quite right so I think I need another go at this one because I think this sweater has some up-styling potential! Did get all the red accessories in, these shoes are fabulous with the look I think^ Then we have the Green Snake Purse (80SD spend) and Dior Loafers (120SD spend) paired together for their gold detailing. They were a tricky accessory combination to style, I found a lot of pieces that looked great with one but not the other, in the end I think these green trousers are a pretty solid choice. Kept with gold for the accessories, love this belt and these glasses in the look and kept it a little dressy with this wide necklined top.
Next are the Cheetah Glitter Pants (50SD spend) which are such a fun piece, these will be great year-round for sure. I did try and add some more cheetah print to them but nothing was quite looking right, so they became the focus in a neutral styling but I do think this Fendi print on the bag is a pretty good fit^ The gold tone in these trousers is great for adding accessories and I think there's a lot of great options for these, definitely versatile-piece of this collection! And lastly, and the look that took longest to decide upon, the Diamond Layered Necklace (220SD spend) and Silver Cat Minidress (180SD spend). Very much like styling the minidress in my last post, I really wanted to make this piece work - just look at those sparkles, they are fabulous! I tried a few sweaters ontop to make the dress into a skirt but nothing worked out, this shirt really became such a genius piece, it's fitted yet has fabulous sleeves, really quite perfect for a fabulous dress! Simple accessories additions to finalise keeping with the white and silver and I really am so pleased with this one, something different for me but making it my own, if that makes any sense =D

A N T I D O T E | Release Review

I just have to say - wow wow wow I am so impressed with this weekend's Winter ANTIDOTE release in the Plaza! It's been a while since I've immediately been like 'yes, this is it!' with a release and I really think it's an absolute highlight of the year for Plaza releases. I'm so behind on stylings and posts but the fact that I wanted to talk about this immediately says a lot, so let's dive right in:
The store has 3 floors packed with brights, bolds and excessive pieces - it feels just right for the holiday party season! Several pieces are available in both male and female fits, with good options for male dolls with this one, moreso than normally I'd say. Starting with accessories. There are 7 pairs of shoes on offer, all being heeled choices with some in different colours of one design. The Red and Black Gucci Pearl Loafers stood out immediately, a super popular style and generally quite minimal and versatile design, these will be an easy one to style - they were snapped up quickly and sold out fast! I really like the chunky-style heel on these. The Jimmy Choo Tinsel and Silver Tinsel Pumps also stood out, they have a minimal design, who can't resist a pointed toe heel in a fabulous colour?! These will be easy to style for the holiday season and you really can't go wrong with either red or silver. The Purple Bow Pumps have a nice idea, I like the colour and the bow but I find them looking quite bulky on my dolls feet, the backless style is great but there's just something a little off about them - would love to see someone style these though because I do think they have some potential. The Ribbon Heels are very extravagant, it's a fun idea and I love the colour of the silk bows, but they're not something I would wear a lot - you style them, you don't just add them to a look. There are only a couple of bags in the release but they're all pretty nice ones. The Bejeweled Silver DG Bags catches my eye first, super cute little piece and I love the little handle along with the jewels on it, it'll be a versatile piece for sure. The Sweet Tray DG Handbag is cute, I think it's been designed really nicely and it's a fun piece from that original collection, not so much my style but I can see it working well for a lot of people - it has a nice size and nice colours so will work with a range of different pieces. And there are quite a few other items in the accessories category too. There are 5 pairs of earrings and they are all pretty good ones. Both the Sphere Earrings and Sphere Drop Earrings come in silver and gold options, love this choice and love both designs, there's something for those who want more and a bold style but also something for those who want the same spheres but on the delicate side. There are 2 necklaces and they both look fantastic, the Pearls Set Necklace is made of strings of chunky pearls and from previous similar releases, will be popular and worn a lot, then there's the Crystals Bow Necklace which does look pretty unique for the Plaza, love the bronzed colour to it plus all the detail, you need to zoom in on this one! Other items include the very pretty and glam Bejeweled DG Headband which looks fab, super cute on the doll, the Tartan Bow Headpiece which is sure standout with it's large size but I adore these colours in tartan and I can't wait to see styles with it, and the Gucci Bow Brooch which is just what every Gucci-lover wants, super cute, classic colours but also some sparkle - so excited about this piece^
Now for the clothing. The first floor has a lot of those festive classics - red, glitter and extravagance! The Glitter Bow Jacket and Pants set caught my eye first, super fun, super party-ready and not too out there in the design. While I agree the bows on the shoulder are a lot, I do think there is some versatility to these pieces and they can be worn separate from each other. I'm still a little undecided if I'll get them or not though. The Red Bow Dress is of course also a standout - not so much my style but I can appreciate the design and someone will rock this for sure! The Sequinned White Shirt is definitely up my street, the colour of this is fantastic, it's very champagne and will pair well with a lot of different colours and the fit on the doll is pretty as well. I'm someone who can't resist an oversized long coat, so the Long White Coat ticks all the boxes for me, I do love a fluffy option for the Winter months and being in white this is a versatile one that I can see working in many ways, super fun and can't wait to wear it. The second floor brings more brights to the collection plus some fun fabrics and textures, it's very Gucci! My eyes were really drawn all over the place when I first got to this one! Really like the Sheer Collared Red Shirt, both the colour and design look great, we've not got a lot of shirts like it in the Plaza and I think it will be a fun one to work with. The Pleated Metallic Gold Skirt is a nice piece as well, not sure I'd pair it with the shirt but I think it will be easy to work with. The Green Gucci Jacket and Skirt set is absolutely adorable, love a co-ord but these pieces will look great separately too and I have quite a few ideas already. The fringey pieces here are fun, but not so much my thing, love the idea of the Stained Long Fur and the colours are fabulous on it, but I just won't wear it sadly, similarly with the Red Fringe Shiny Coat, looks fun and the colour is great but it's not something I would style much. The third floor is a little more muted on the colours but actually, maybe it's my favourite one?! The Star Fuzzy Sweater and Black Sheer Paillette Skirt are such a cute set, but for me will be better as separates, love the fabrics and the designs of these and think they are great for cosy Winter stylings - plus the gold details look great^ A look I am sad to have missed out on is the pairing of the Laced Corset Shirt and Valentino Gold Sequinned Minidress, such a cute look and I can totally see why it sold out quickly! The fit on the doll is great and both are fab layering pieces, so many styling opportunities for both and love the colours of these as well. The Blue Quilted Puffer Coat seems a bit of a wildcard thrown into this collection, but actually it was one of the pieces to really get my attention, it's a very stylish puffer coat and I love the collar and bow detailing, plus the colour is certainly unique. The last piece to mention is the Horse Sweater, love the design and the colours, but I don't love a v-neckline, so I'm still super on the fence about it - so torn! Think it could make for some great looks but that neckline could make or break it for me, I need to see some stylings for sure to convince me about it XD

F E A T U R E S
First up is Amarisse who wears the Long White Fur, Glitter Bow Pants and Jimmy Choo Silver Tinsel Pumps - an all white Winter look is always stunning! I think these trousers work well with the coat because it does minimise the bows a little and make them come across a bit more wearable, plus it's good to confirm they can be worn separately from the matching jacket. Accessories are simple but effective, I love these earrings with the look plus the coral tone on the lips, super stand out =)
Next is Nyxaura styling the Laced Corset Shirt and Gucci Bow Brooch which go great together and with the rest of this look. This shirt is made for layering and it looks fab with this strapless midi, the styles of each are just right for each other. The silver details on the bow are perfect with the detailing on the belt and the shoes, and the red is great with the pop of colour on the nails! Also loving the up-do with this one, it really highlights those fab shoulder details^
As always sarah_1980 has gone all out wearing the Gucci Bow Brooch, Horse Sweater, Green Gucci JacketGreen Gucci Skirt, Bejeweled Silver DG Bag, Gold Glitter Tights and Red Gucci Pearl Loafers - what a winning combination! The colours are balanced well across the look and the red and green work well together, I really wouldn't have thought to wear this sweater with the green, but it works and is a perfect red to work with the shoes. The silver and gold details across the styling really bounce off each other too, love it of course =D
Miloshki has of course done it again, choosing a perfect piece for her style, the Hand Bow Tie, I'm sure we all agree this was made for her to make an amazing look with and I just love it! Of course it had to be another red and blue combination and these pieces are amazing together. The blouson sleeved blouse is fabulous on it's own but is fantastic for this necktie but also being layered with this red dress, super complementary for contrasting fabrics and styles. The accessories are great finishing touches and balancing out the colours, love to see these blue tartan heels get a showcase!
Last but certainly not least is rob_sef7 wearing the Sequinned White Shirt and Gold Glitter Tights in such a beautiful styling, I'm drooling^ Fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it and I know I'll be thinking about it for a while. Pairing the shirt under this gold dress is genius, the pieces are a perfect fit for each other and they really bring out the best of each other as well. We all know I love gold and so the rest of the golden additions here are beautiful, this is a perfect styling for the tights but I'm also loving the Chanel brooch and the bag. This one is so dreamy =)

S T Y L E D O U T F I T S
Onto my stylings and I so loved working with all of these pieces, completely met my expectations and more! First up the Gucci Bow Brooch and Green Gucci Jacket, this pairing had to be done^ As soon as I saw this jacket my thoughts went to these trousers and that had to be my first styling, the two are perfect together in both colour and fit and I know I'll repeat this. I kept with the theme and added red shoes which make that trim on the jacket pop and then continued with Gucci for the rest of the additions. I'm especially loving these glasses here, they don't always work in an outfit but here they're perfect and I love it! Next are the Bejeweled DG Headband, Blue Quilted Puffer Coat, Bejeweled Silver DG Bag and Jimmy Choo Silver Tinsel Pumps - for sure not pieces I thought I would combine but I really like the outcome. I adore this jacket a lot and knew I wanted to wear trousers in a blue that matched the trim, it was a tricky one but luckily I had one pair and really these were a perfect style too^ I didn't want to add too much in terms of a different colour but silver and blue usually works so these fun silver accessories from the release were perfect additions to finish off the outfit. The final look in this set is with the Pearl Clear Boots which were a bit of a challenge, but it was an enjoyable one. I really wanted to make sure the pearl detailing was highlighted and it was tricky to find clothing to work with that, but I'm pretty happy with the outfit and while I think it's a bit out there it's definitely growing on me. This skirt is a super fun one, and I think the detail of the waist works well with the boots being a detail at the hem. Had to add more pearls and this blouse was a great option as it's not too heavy and it goes surprisingly well with the skirt! I am looking forward to finding more ways to wear these boots though, I think they're fab =D
Onto the second set, first is the Sequinned White Shirt and honestly I just can't live up to rob_sef7's feature above, too good a look! I've gone all out with the sequins and I love the shirt with these trousers, super complementary pieces to each other. This coat was a perfect finishing touch for the clothing, just the right colour and I love the smart oversized style to it. Kept the accessories super simple, mostly because I couldn't find anything in the same shade of blue as the stripes on the trousers, some shoes or a bag would have been perfect, but I like the simple pieces I've chosen anyway. Then we have the Black Sheer Paillette Skirt, love a tulle midi and with the gold on this one I knew I'd enjoy styling it. I don't have a lot of gold tops, but this peplum one is a good new-ish one and it's great with this skirt, plus it's an easy one to layer and overall made a black base letting the gold details all over shine. I thought this bag was super fun for the party season and don't remember getting it or styling it so that was a fun inclusion too. And for the final styling, something a bit daring for me, the Silver Sphere Drop Earrings, Sheer Collared Red Shirt and Silver Sequinned Minidress! I was really keen to work with the dress because I want to make fun party pieces like this work for me and it was real happenstance that I was like 'how would a shirt look under this?' and because the one from the collection was there I trialed it and really loved it! I know it won't be to everyone's taste but I'm so glad I tried it out =) The white details on the collar and sleeves gave me the option of a white base and I think the silver pops against that well too, then I knew I wanted a fun bag. The shirt colour looks more orange on my doll, and I knew the perfect bag for it, and I'm so glad it worked out, love this bag in this look so much! For sure this one has inspired my to go out of my comfort zone with strapless minidresses more often XD

I N S P I R E D B Y A C N E S T U D I O S | Styled Outfits

The final Summer 2025 Tribute stylings, hopefully in just in time before the Winter releases XD Anyway, like the other releases of this season I bought quite a few pieces from the Acne Studios store and I really had a great time styling them up. First are the Stud Pants which I loved for their casual glamour, and the light colour made them very easy to work with, kept a super simple look with similar tones and I think it works. Added some extra glamour with this is cute bag, it's really a perfect style match for the trousers and wearing it here makes me want to put the effort in to wear it again! Next are the Yellow Rose Boots which are such a fun and different piece, it was definitely a challenge to work with both grey and yellow as they're not typically colours I would pair. In the end I only got a little yellow added to the look in the glasses but I do think it works, plus with the basic greys and blacks in the outfit, those yellow roses really do stand out! I'm already quite excited for the challenge of wearing them again. Third is the Nude Sweater and Nude Tied Sweater, a fab duo^ Such an easy combination to style, I knew I wanted to go all out with the pink and these slim trousers were great in style and colour. Accessorising was fun and I really liked adding in all those pearl details, they pop really nicely and I'm so pleased with this one =D
In the next set of looks, first up are the Acne Orange Floral Pants and just how fun are these?!?! I love them, so playful and really add vibrance^ I didn't go for a full orange styling, but totally could have done - this vest has been a longtime favourite of mine and I'm so glad it works well with these trousers too. I kept some oranges in the accessories but did keep a few light tones which I think does help in ringing out the print in the trousers. And for the final look, the Dark Silver Heart Necklace, Black Slouchy Bag and Brown Tigh High Boots - a trio of accessories! I really love this true Autumn/Winter styling and it was super fun to play with wearing brown and black together, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I love these boots a lot and wanted to style them with something leather, when this skirt came up as an option I really just ran with it and the other pieces all fell into place. I'm especially loving the neckline of this top with the necklace, a super sweet duo^

T R I B U T E S G A L L E R Y | Styled Outfits

So I got far too many pieces from this release XD I have ended up with 9 bags, 3 pairs of shoes, 5 pairs of sunglasses and a bracelet ... oops! But everything is so unique! I will do my best to style up a lot of pieces, but some you'll definitely have to look out for in future stylings.
First up the Fendi Baguette Blue Crystal Purse and as soon as this blue coat was released, I knew the two had to be worn together! Love the combination and love the final outfit I put together. With the tiny red details on the bag I knew I wanted to add some of that in, and ended up with this great vest plus accessories, I don't think it's too much at all and I think the colours balance well, especially with a white base for the rest of the pieces. This is a fab Spring or Autumn look and I'll be repeating it for sure^ Next are the Gucci Glasses Gold and Dior Butterfly Saddle Bag - the glasses will go with so many looks but with the yellow details on the bag I think the two pieces are great together. With the bag base being denim I was quite keen to work denim into the look, and these panelled jeans were just perfect and I love the smart-casual styling I've come up with. Had to get a bit more yellow in there, this over shoulder coat is fabulous for that, and kept the rest of the additions pretty minimal, which has worked well to make sure the bag design really gets a highlight here^
The next look uses both the Prada Sunglasses Crackle and Fendi Baguette Logo Handbag, again these glasses will look great in so many outfits, but also are a great colour mix to go with this absolutely classic bag design. It was so easy to style and I had a lot of options, overall I was quite undecided on what to pick for the first styling with it! I know there will be many more to come. Kept the clothing on a similar brown and black colour scheme and I think it works great, the lighter beige in the skirt and sweater really make that darker brown of the bag pop. And I love the accessories in this styling, those earrings are perfect for the colours =) Next is the Dior Koi Fish Saddle Bag which I was so excited to style because it's so different, and I've not seen anyone else wear this one yet. These trousers are a perfect colour match for the green on the bag, honestly that pairing alone makes me so happy! The rest of the additions just had to be pink, I did try out some darker shades and had a few good pieces, but overall a pale pink set of additions worked nicer, think it's super cute and I really like it, this will be perfect for Spring^ And for the final look, the Butterfly Mask Glasses Black and Dior Fur And Crystal Saddle Bag which were both also super fun to style. With the fur trim of the bag I kind of knew I wanted my first look to be with this fuzzy white coat and I kept the rest of the look dark to go with the dark denim of the bag. These jeans were a perfect choice and I liked the super dark denim with the black belt because that was an easy way to get other black pieces into the outfit - the leather shirt is a great texture against the fur and these glasses fitted perfectly!

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N #55 | Release Review

A little late, but LE55 finally was released in October - of course I was travelling that weekend and got to it a little late, but I don't know, the rush must not have been too bad because I was still able to pick up some pieces in addition to the pieces that friends very generously gifted me^ Let's get on into the release:
The release has 3 floors with a total of 16 looks for females, 2 looks for males, and several pieces available in both male and female fits. Overall I really like the animal print logo and love the red and navy interior, looks super stylish and just gives me good vibes of the collection. This release seems to be a mix of dressy and some stylish-casual pieces, there's definitely wearability here and it's not just a red-carpet release which I do appreciate. And I really feel Autumn/Winter looks with this one and loving that too!
Accessories: I really love the boots in this release, both the Olive/Black Leather Boots and the Brown Leather Boots have great designs and look fab, plus I think will look good in many different styles of outfits. There are also some sunglasses, the Red Shades and Tortoise Triangle Glasses which I really love the look of, super stylish designs and I think they're both perfect fits with the rest of the collection.
Clothing: There's some super fun pieces in this release. The first floor has some really nice pinks and reds, I really like the Red Leather Top and Pink Feather Skirt and whilst I wouldn't so much wear them together, think they will make for some great looks. The Stained Leather Trousers also really stand out, the mix of colours is super Autumnal and I like both the leather fabric and the loose fit to them and I think the all-denim look of the Denim Cargo Skirt and Denim Balloon Sleeve Top is quite cute and I think will make for some fun Spring/Summer outfits. The second floor is quite dressy, I think the Gold Hole Dress really looks so elegant and great on the doll, those gold details really make it unique, and I the ensemble of the fur trimmed Gucci Sheer Dress and Balenciaga Leather Cape also looks amazing, I'm so into wearing dark brown, looks fabulous^ The piece-de-resistance has to be the Burgundy Croc Jacket, beautiful colour, love the croc fabric, great shape and looks fantastic on the doll - super popular and I've seen so many dolls wearing this one already. The third floor is a bit of a mix of warm pieces and dressy pieces. The Fur Cuff Sweater looks super cute and cosy, sad it sold out before I could get to it because would have loved to try this one. The jackets are really nice here, I like both the Brown Leather Jacket and the Miu Miu Suede Jacket - great Autumn pieces in solid versatile colours, I think these will do well in a huge range of styles so can't wait to see more looks coming out with these pieces. The Tiger Fur Coat is also pretty fun, not sure I'd get the wear out of it, but I can really see it wearing well on other dolls.

F E A T U R E S
First up Bianca.Vos with the incredibly popular Burgundy Croc Jacket along with the Brown Long Belt, pieces which look great together. I think layering the mini bustier dress on top of the jacket is absolute perfection - the colours, fabrics and styles of the pieces are perfect for each other, honestly made to be together^ And the belt finishes the combination perfectly, along with those fabulous shoes and gold earrings to pair with the belt. Love this sleek styling so much!
Next up is harpie who I spotted in 2 looks and just had to feature both! On the left are the Stained Leather Trousers and Book Strap Bag together, so many fun colours in the trousers to pick out and I love the tan cardigan of the top along with the little bit of red at the neckline there, the red patches therefore really pop on the trousers. Then on the right are the Stone and Silver Earrings, Burgundy Croc Jacket and Brown Long Belt - two of the same pieces as above, but showing so much versatility in a completely different outfit. Love the pairing with the skirt, again, so perfect for each other, and the light tones in the skirt really highlight the sheen in the jacket^
Next up is miloshki, also in the Burgundy Croc Jacket - but just see how versatile it is?! Another perfect styling for it, and something completely different to both the previous looks. Burgundy and blue feels like a winner, these tights are the cutest with the deep colour and I think the boots are the perfect balance here. The look is mixed with sweet white ruffles and an exaggerated collar, now that works well with the blouson sleeves^ Love this a lot =D
The final feature comes from SIEL_ wearing the Miu Miu Suede Jacket and I was so pleased to see someone styling this, I loved it in the store and I love it in this outfit! Super cute and preppy. The black leather segments have been styled well throughout the additions, especially the shoes and bag. The plaid of the skirt is a nice fit with the deep olive and the white really brightens and pops, drawing your eye in to the look. Such a cute one^

S T Y L E D O U T F I T S
Now for my stylings. First up the Stone and Silver Earrings, Miu Miu Suede Jacket and Black Leather Boots - with the leather on the jacket I knew I wanted to add more of that to the look to really highlight it, these trousers are fantastic with the style of the jacket, I love the combination so much for Autumn/Winter. I kept the rest of the look pretty simple, the light top keeps it from being too dark, then I stuck with leather in the rest of the accessories, I also think the length of these trousers is perfect to ensure the heel design is highlighted. Second up is the Green Velvet Crop Top, which isn't typically my style, but adore the colour so much and this was a challenge I was up for! I love this outfit so much, and even had quite a few options to choose from, so definitely more versatile than I had anticipated. I was super keen to wear this skirt, the green and the dark olive hem were just right, the pink belt was the inspiration to add more pink in the look - different but I love it a lot! Accessorising was super fun for this one, think everything is just kinda right here^ And then thirdly are the Stained Leather Trousers which I really loved styling, and again, had quite a few options for. I opted for green (subconsciously fitting with these other looks XD) fitting with the panel down the side, I really think it works well and the trousers definitely have a sheen to them like the boots and top. Can see so many fun options for these and think they're a great Autumn/Winter piece.
And of course, had to wear the Burgundy Croc Jacket too - I've gone all out with the burgundy here though, and I love it! These boots are fantastic with the jacket, and then I couldn't resist a skirt to match and the bag quickly followed. The 'bubble' style to the skirt works nicely with tthe blouson sleeves of the jacket and this was super fun to wear and I think it's something I'll look to repeat for sure. And last but not least, the Maroon Fiberglass Skirt which I haven't seen anyone else style, but I think it's so fun and actually was pretty easy to work with, I recommend trying it out! I really love all the different purple and pink tones in the layers so it was easy to find options for this one, I love the oversizing of this shirt and then I had the perfect boots to match, along with fun sunglasses^ I just didn't have the perfect bag, tried out several different ones, but nothing was quite right either on colour or design, so I stuck without one, but I think it still looks good =)

S U B C O U T U R E | Release Review

Finally time for another Subcouture weekend - really some of my favourite weekends on Stardoll! Limited vibes, but no rush and time to really think about the pieces you want to buy. Love the pink tones in the advertising and I really like the look of the special offer item, those pinks and reds together really speak to me^ Lets get on in and see what the collection has in store for us:
The release is 3 floors with 6 looks per floor, 16 looks for female dolls and 2 looks that come in both male and female versions. Overall I would say I like these vibes for Subcouture, it's not too dressy while there are still pieces that you can dress up, but a lot of pieces work in a more casual style, which I like for Subcouture. And generally the collection does seem very wearable. Now for sure, a lot of the pieces aren't my style but there's a lot of versatility there. This time for me the accessories aren't too stand out, I don't love the style of most of the pieces, however I do appreciate that they fit pretty well with the clothing items on offer. I have picked up a couple of pieces, the Miu Miu Plaid Platforms are super cute, love both the plaid and the lovely sparkly buckle straps over the foot. The Rick Owens Cream Boots are also very tempting, love the light colour, the knee high design and the overall fit on the foot, I'm just still thinking about what I would pair them with. I also picked up the Clock Necklace, which is more of the simple elegance style, and while there is a clock-face on it, I think it looks like a good versatile piece that will be easy to include in outfits. With the clothing I really am a fan of the sequin and sparkly pieces, and there's a number of these pieces to choose from. The Teal Sequin Dress looks fantastic, and there are matching Teal Sequin Gloves if those take your fancy, I love the mix of colours, sequins and lace on this piece along with the overall style and fit of the dress. I could already see a few different outfits with it in my mind when I saw it in the store. With dresses there is also the Velvet Corset Dress which has a fabulous sparkling skirt and I really like the purple colour on this one too. With tops there are the Sequin Body Shirt (plus available for male dolls too), Black Sequin Top and the Purple Gem Shirt - these pieces all look great, the fit the doll really nicely and I think are all pretty versatile, they'll work annually, not just for the typically sparkly-season we're entering into! For me the Sequin Body Shirt is an especially good option because it has a great mix of bold colours in the design. And can't forget the Black Ruffle Pants, these are such a fun piece - I'm a real sucker for a ruffled piece and these look great, they fit the doll well, have a sparkly base, and will make for some real stand-out outfits!

F E A T U R E S
First up is Bianca.Vos wearing the Olive Corset Dress - this is such a great option for the dress and honestly the pieces look like they were made to be worn together! The sheer top makes the dress perfect for those colder days along with the fun design on the tights and shoes, which overall are perfect for the lace detailing around the waist on the corset of the dress. So stylish as always^
Next we have harpie in both the Blue Scrunched Sweater and Miu Miu Plaid Platforms, and again these clothes just look like they were made for each other. Love the stripe detail of the skirt with the blue, it really gives me Sonia Rykiel vibes. And the shoes really work nicely to complement the rest of the accessories added in the look, love these sheer ankle socks and the simple additions in the bag, belt and jewellery =)
Then we have sarah_1980 who is the perfect definition of 'more is more' - all of these pieces come from the collection but weren't put together like this, so the Diamond Sunglasses, Red Plaid Dress, Black Sequin Top, Midnight Sparkle Gloves, Pierced Saddle Bag and the Maroon Laced Boots. These items look absolutely amazing together, and I really think the outfit sells the pieces incredibly well, for me, moreso than the store display does. The layering of the top and gloves with the dress looks fab and the hint of sparkles adds an extra level of glamour!
Finally for features is Vinicius who wears the Laced Dress and I love this Jacquemus-esque styling, and again, selling the piece much better than the store does - so I think I might need to pick up this dress now XD The dress stands out here and it's all been about adding accessories, works perfectly! The light tones complement the dress perfectly, every accessory is just right for a vintage south of France styling, love the heels and the straw bag especially^

So I bought a lot of sparkly things! First up, the Sequin Body Shirt and Pierced Saddle Bag - so much fun styling this top and had quite a few options to choose from, but in the end of the blue sequin trousers won, you can never have too many sequins! I kept it relatively simple in the rest of the look, but tried to make it more Winter-suited with this overcoat, I really like it. The blue glasses and boots kept the colour theme going and I added the bag as a little something different for the finishing touch. Second are the Black Sequin Top and Miu Miu Plaid Platforms - I loved these trousers with both pieces because the belt detail on the trousers is perfect with the buckle on the shoes and the sparkle of the top, and of course, I have a matching bag for the buckle design too so that was a must to include here! I was really trying to make a jacket work with this outfit, but nothing was working but actually going jacket-less became my preferred option, something a little different for me, but it looks good^ Overall super simple but I think those sparkly little details really do pop nicely. And finally the Teal Sequin Dress and Clock Necklace in a look that I just adore so much! I really envisaged this dress worn as a skirt, and it was so easy to make that work. I loved this oversized black top with it and kept those Winter vibes going with a polo and some chunky boots, the sheen on the boots is great with the sequins. Accessorising was kept on the silver theme because the necklace worked really nicely against the blue tones in the dress. I'm really so pleased with this one =)

I N S P I R E D B Y D R I E S V A N N O T E N | Styled Outfits

Onto the second Tribute of the Summer 2025 season, Dries Van Noten, and I can honestly say I had such a good time styling this collection - it was a challenge but a really good one that I could get my teeth stuck into and it really got my creative-styling side flowing! First up is the Beaded Net Top, with the peach coloured beads this was the colour I knew I wanted to focus on in the outfit. An all peach look wasn't quite working for the top and I think that was down to their being a lot of black in the look, so I balanced it out and I'm pretty pleased with the result. The black trousers ended up working well because the bead colours really pop on the dark base which I think serves well for the added peach accessories. Next is the Black Beaded Jacket which really reminded me pieces from the early Tribute releases and something just told me I had to have it! This was the piece I spent the longest with because it was hard to decide what to go for - originally I wanted something with sheer elements to the skirting, but I wasn't very happy with how the options were going, so I turned to glittery pieces and this skirt just looks fabulous! Not only does it match with the glitter but I love the ombre of colours ending in black at the bottom, the perfect balance. Super simple in accessories, but I knew I wanted more glitter and this silver bag is perfection here, I love the pairing of it and I really love this outfit, something different for me and even different from my usual dressed up glam styled looks^
Then in the next set, first up are the Tied Brown Belt and Teal Pants paired together - I am so in love with this look, I think it's perfect for Autumn and I'm feeling so inspired by this brown shade! The print on the trousers made it easy to use the belt and the rest of the browns of course had to match. I had been trying this shirt on for a different set of stylings so it was right at the front of my closet and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to wear it with this look! Choosing shoes and a bag to match were easy from there and I kept a little more blue with the glasses, I think overall it's a perfect balance of colours and I just love this outfit XD Second is the Winged Top which I thought was super cute on first look at the release - it was a little harder to style than I had first thought it might be, but the purple and golden design gave quite a few options and I ended up playing with both for a great outcome, I'm so pleased! I was struggling for a jacket or coat to wear because I didn't want to go too purple and I'd already selected these trousers and the accessories, luckily I stumbled across this light brown one in my closet, and it's so perfect not only in colour but also in shape and fit on the doll, the hanging-off-the-arms style. After styling this outfit I was really feeling so inspired^ And last but not least, the Cut Out Maxi Skirt in what was the quickest look to come together, this piece was super easy to style. I knew I wanted light beige tones to go with the skirt pattern, and this sweater is a perfect match, along with these sweet heels. I added a little blue with the bag but otherwise kept it light and neutral - again another great outfit for the Autumn and I can't wait to repeat this one as well =D

I N S P I R E D B Y A L A I A | Styled Outfits

Excited to finally share my looks from the first Tribute of the Summer 2025 season, Alaia! I really enjoyed working with these pieces and I'm already excited to style them again in other looks. I did pick up a couple of other pieces which I'm sure will eventually be included in other stylings. First up is the Periwinkle Crop Windbreaker. Love the colour of this a lot and really enjoyed working with it - I'm super happy I had some accessories that matched this colour well, I really love this pairing. Blue and white are great together, so choosing finishing touches for the look was easy - these white trousers have a nice pleated design which I like with the gathering of the top. Next up is the Ruffle Denim Skirt, thought this was such a cute piece and excited to style it - and coincidentally it's almost the opposite of the first styling! Blue on the bottom with white added this time. I did find this piece a little tricker to style than I had imagined it would be, not sure why, but I was quite indecisive with choosing what to pair with it. In the end, I'm very happy with the styling, white pieces will never not go with denim - I especially like my accessories with this one, think these shoes are great with the ruffle design of the skirt and love the slim silver belt here. And the third look uses the Yellow Wave Shirt, which I wanted to highlight on it's own without it's co-ord piece, and honestly I love this look so so much^ With the pleats of the top I wanted to keep pleats in the skirt and love the colour combination of yellow and brown, these pieces are so perfect together. Accessories came quickly to the styling, I knew I wanted more neutral pieces with these shoes and this bag easily slipping into the style. Such a dreamy styling and I'm dying to repeat-wear already =D
In the second set of outfits we start with the Pink Aviators and Maroon Le Coeur Bag and it had to be all about the burgundy here - this is such a fun Autumnal outfit! With the bag I knew I wanted to wear these trousers, the colour has a slight contrast but I really love the pairing, the shoes came quickly because they're a perfect colour match to the bag. I did umm and ahh over what top to pick, in the end, a little valentines theme to match the heart of the bag, this adds some lightness to the look and with the lighter colour added, I think it was a good fit to then add the glasses. I'll bring this look back out next February! And for the final styling the Exagurated Denim Pants and Red Le Coeur Heels together - with jeans now I definitely prefer a looser fit, and these are quite unique to the Plaza, I think they look great on and work well with both slimmed and oversized looks overall. I wanted to get another piece that I bought into the look and I think the dark denim works well with red, so of course my favourite red top came out as well, I think it looks great here. Accessories were simple and I stuck with the heart theme from the shoes with this gold necklace and bag, I really like these pieces together and I love the overall look for more casual vibes^

A N T I D O T E | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

The end of August brought a new Antidote release to the Plaza - a 3 floor store filled with 16 looks and pieces available for both male and female dolls. For me, the Antidote releases used to be good way back in the day, but the ones over the past few years have been quite mixed, and the direction of the store vibes seems to change all the time. This time for me felt like quite a nice collection of pieces as a whole - no, not everything is my style and lots of things I wouldn't so much wear, but I think as a whole this collection works and there are a good mix of versatile pieces (both clothes and accessories) along with more one-off items. First up, the features - harpie styles up the Asymmetrical Pleated Dress, I really like the overall design and colours of this piece. While it isn't so much my style, I love how it looks in this styling! The tight fitting makes it a great piece for layering, and this skirt looks beautiful with the yellow of the sleeve keeping the blue as a popping standout colour. The accessories are all beautiful and fitting, I especially love these shoes and the intricate bracelet here with the clothing =)
Next is miloshki wearing the Drop Waist Charcoal Dress, Book Stack Bag and Gold Bee Hairpin - such a cute vintage styling, really love this! The dress being sleeveless gives so many options for layering underneath, this shirt with voluminous sleeves is perfect and also pairs well with the white collar of the dress. The accessories are a beautiful combination, it's all about the vintage - from the beret with the pin, the headscarf, the bag combo and the checked shoes ... so much love for all these pieces together (and also feeling regret that I had this necklace and sold it XD)!
And then we have sarah_1980 who wears a whole outfit from the collection, with the White Mini Dress, Cheetah Collar, Snake Skirt, Beaded Olive Purse and Crescent Moon Kitten Heels. I think this highlights well how versatile the pieces are because these items were all styled separately in the store but look great together! The length of the dress is a great one for layering skirts underneath and I think this midi-length around the knees is perfect. The mix of animal prints also works out well, the pieces are far enough away and the white gives a solid base for both to get their own moment to shine in the styling^
And now for my own looks - I was a little late to the release so a few things were already sold out, but I actually still had a lot to choose from, in the end I chose 3 pieces. First up is the Moon Sweater, I think this is a sweet piece and I like the muted colours along with the small brown/orange star details agains the blue. When I saw the piece I knew I wanted to style it with white on the bottom and blue and brown/orange accessories and so I did just that! These trousers are a great fit with the hemline of the top, I think the loose fit works well with the fit of the top too. Accessories were hard to choose because I had a lot of options to choose between! But I'm happy with the final choices, these heels are almost a perfect match for the top and I picked this mixed bag to bring a little of that brown into the rest of the styling and I really like that touch to the look. Super cute overall^ Then I paired the White Pleated Skirt and Beaded Olive Purse together because all I could think about was wearing these green boots and they just went perfectly with the skirt too. This was super easy to put together, I knew I wanted to go with an oversized top and tried quite a few out, but this white shirt just gave the perfect base to let the green shine. Completed the look with more green accessories and love it so much =)
