We're about to start a brand new year - where did 2021 go?!?! This year has really flown by. I know I've posted less on the blog, but sometimes Stardoll was particularly uninspiring to me, and also RL has been so busy - I really am exhausted and I don't see it getting any easier in 2022 either. Enough about that, lets look at my 2021 STYLE ROUNDUP, selecting some of my favourite looks that I've shared across the year. I wanted to split my stylings into darker and lighter looks - there's a dominance of darker based stylings which I hadn't realised I'd done this year and clearly I struggle to remove my favourite sunglasses haha! I feel like this year I've become much more confident in my style and know what I want while still allowing a little experimentation with combinations of colours, prints and pieces. What I know for sure is that I'm ready to head back to blonde for the new year, it's been too long^
Let me know what your favourite look of mine was this year, and let me know your style revelations from the year and resolutions for the new year =)

These are the pieces that featured most in my round up of looks from 2021 - somehow they're all black accessories, completely unintentional, but they make a super cute set. The shine really stands out this year, I think this patent jewel-embellished bag is a stand out piece for my stylings this year and I'm excited to keep wearing it. And these aren't all new pieces, some oldies are goodies too^

M U S E U M M I L E O F F - W H I T E T R I B U T E | Tribute Review

I'm so glad that the Winter Tribute season has arrived! First up we have a release into the Museum Mile store, which has become a bit of a tradition - these releases do hang around longer than the typical Tributes, so you'll be able to pick up pieces from this Off-White Tribute for some time to come =) This is a perfect place for a new Off-White release and very fitting to be the first Tribute of the season to the late Virgil Abloh. Let's get into the store:
This release is 2 floors with 6 female and 2 male mannequins across them, I think it's a nice balance and an alright number of pieces for a Tribute release. For the purposes of this review and that I have a female doll, my focus is on these pieces. The release is based on the Resort2021 and AW2021 collection - these both have so many great pieces that I would have loved for my doll, so I would take another Off-White release based on these if it was on offer! First up looking at the accessories, there are quite a lot on offer in the store. There are 5 pairs of shoes which is split between heels and boots - I really quite like the mix that's on offer. I picked up both pairs of heels, the OffWhite Inspired Sandals which are the black lower heel shoe are such a classic design and I think will be great in Spring/Summer look, and the OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals are just adorable, love that bow detail and the white colour works well for my style - again these will be great in Spring/Summer. Of the boots I've just picked up one pair so far, the OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots because I think these are just fabulous, you can't miss them at all! The colour sold them to me, but the design of them is also very nice, I love the sheen and the loose fit around the leg is quite perfect and fitting for current trends. I'm also quite tempted by the OffWhite Inspired Black Boots, the slightly chunky design isn't usually my thing, but these only have that thick platform heel and are quite fitted on the foot and ankle. Plus I also very much like that sheen! So I think I might pick these up to give them a try too. There are 4 bags in the release, I haven't bought any of these yet but there are two which are tempting me. I love the look of the OffWhite Inspired Blue Bag - who doesn't need a fluffy blue bag in their wardrobe?! This piece is super fun and I think it will look great in the right outfit, think I just need to see it styled on a few dolls to have me convinced! Then also the OffWhite Inspired Black Handbag which has such a classic design and style to it, really a timeless piece that looks great - I'm just wondering if I need yet another black bag. There are some other accessories in this release, the jewellery pieces are really very nice - I love the OffWhite Inspired Chain Earrings which are a nice chunky gold pair and you can also get the matching OffWhite Inspired Chain Necklace, and the OffWhite Inspired Blue Earrings are pretty stand out!
And for the clothing - again I think it's pretty good! I haven't picked up too many pieces yet, but after seeing a couple of the features below I think I will be making some more purchases. Starting with my favourite pieces of the release, the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and Skirt set, this caught my eye immediately - it's completely up my street in terms of style and colour and I think it looks great on the doll. The pieces also seem very versatile so will work well as separates too. Also as a very cute set are the OffWhite Inspired Checkered Blazer and Skirt, again these will work well together and as separates, my only hesitation with this set is the low slung style of the Skirt, it's designed to sit on the hips which isn't my preference, but with resizing I think it could still work out nicely. The checked pattern is really nice and the Blazer design is fab, it looks so good on the doll so I'm quite excited to work with this one. The OffWhite Sequin Jumpsuit isn't so much something I would wear but it's quite a cute piece, I thought it looked pretty cosy and could make a nice Winter layering piece. I love the smokey-style printing on the OffWhite Inspired Shorts and OffWhite Inspired Dress, it's so pretty especially with the pink - but I'm going to pass on these pieces because when I first saw the Dress I thought it was a top and skirt together, and as separates this was perfect for me, so I'm a bit disappointed there. But never mind, there's still some fabulous pieces to be had in this release!

OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals | OffWhite Inspired Blazer | OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots
These really were the first pieces that caught my eye in the store, and were the first ones I wanted to style when working with the pieces. These have beautiful designs and I think will be pretty good for year-round stylings for a long time to come!

F E A T U R E S
First up in the features is Tangera styling the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and matching Skirt - super cute and super smart styling^ I love the addition of the belt, it looks great against the white of the blazer and I think it pops nicely, adding to the look but not distracting from the pieces. The shoes and bag are both very fitting for the style, but I particularly love the floral brooch and tulle scarf, so adorable and great style-fit for the new pieces!
Next up is Proenza wearing the OffWhite Inspired Shorts and the OffWhite Inspired Black Boots making for a very cool dressed up street style look. The boots look particularly awesome in this styling, I love them with the socks and the shorts are a perfect length to go with this pairing. The meshed top is a nice balance with the socks, as is the leather jacket against the boots, I love the oversizing of it, and it looks great with the mesh top. Love the hair and beauty look too, perfect finishing touch for the outfit =)
This feature comes from Mia1435 styling the OffWhite Inspired Checkered Blazer and Skirt set which is really kind of tempting me to pick up this co-ord! This is such a cute outfit, I love the detailed mesh pattern of the tights, it's fun against that of the clothing. And the dot cut out top looks fab, again adding to the details. The boots are a little balance to this with their studded details. The accessories are so cute, love the belting and also the jewellery^
And the final feature for this post is from DieForDIOR who styles up the OffWhite Inspired Minidress and OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots - this look is a lot brighter and lighter than the others, so it really does stand out! The dress layers very nicely with the white shirt ontop, the off the shoulder design works perfectly and the dress peaks out well. Love the white tights too, all makes for a perfect background for these blue pieces to really pop - the boots look amazing and I love the bag with its added pearl chains, so creative!

S T Y L I N G S
Now for my own stylings - I bought quite a number of pieces and so have paired items together where I could. First up the OffWhite Inspired Skirt and OffWhite Inspired Sandals, these look good together and actually the skirt would look good with any of the shoes I got in this release. I thought this printed blazer would work nicely to tie the pieces together, I think it's a pretty nice piece with both of these new items. I'm lacking the perfect necklace to fill the neckline of the blazer, but otherwise sticking with simple black accessories works nicely for this look. Next up are the OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals, these looked good with many different clothing items that I tried out so I'm looking forward to using them again already! I loved them with this belted skirt, the colour of the shoes and belt are a perfect match. Again kept it super simple, the black base is great to pop the white colour in the look. So so simple, but so effective, I really love this one^ And finally pairing the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots which were such fun pieces to style. These trousers are a great fit for the blazer in terms of both colour and style, which I'm super pleased with as they are on of my favourite pieces. The boots gave the perfect reason for more blue in the accessories, this bag is a fab and fun piece to add, it looks great with the boots, and this necklace is a great piece to fill the neckline well. This is a smart-glamour styling, something a little different for me but I really love the outcome.

Y O U N G H O L L Y W O O D | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

December also brought us a new Young Hollywood collection - this is a brand I've not really kept up with much the past few years as much as I did with the early releases, as red-carpet-ready stylings aren't so much my thing. But I did pick up some shoes from this release and spot some of you guys looking amazing in the pieces, so time for a Styled post! First up those features, and these first two style up the Paris Dress which is pretty glamorous in detail in a bit of a different colour to normal red carpet pieces. Brevis has gone all out with the glam styling both the Paris Dress and the Black Gigi Heels which are perfect together especially with the accessorising of the look. I love these long black leather gloves so much here, perfect to tie the shoes in and I think the style of them is great with that of the dress. The jewellery is beautiful, great glamorous choices that really stand out - overall I love it =D
Thieli. also styles up the Paris Dress but looking slightly more casual in this styling - I love the versatility this piece has! It looks super cute layered with this beige top, a colour which works well softening the brown. The brown Gucci boots are perfect here for the more casual vibe, the colour is perfect and the print adds some detail. Again, the jewellery is perfection in this styling, I love the snake design necklace, it fills the neckline of the dress beautifully. And the big glam dangling earrings are also stunning, a great combination of pieces there!
And the final feature is from MeLolitka styling the Chrystal Heather Dress, which is something I couldn't imagine how to style, but this look completely nails it! This piece layers very nicely with this crisp white skirt and I think it also pairs well with the overcoat - it adds such a contrasting style, the heavy coat with the delicate dress, but actually it works nicely and the shape of the coat really highlights those sparkling details well. The pink inside of the coat adds a fun detail too^ Love the accessories here, the bag, shoes and jewels all look great along with the beauty styling =)
Now for my stylings, they may be a little boring compared to the features as I only picked up shoes in this release! But I do think they will be versatile and I'll get good use from them. First up the Pink JoJo Shoes which are such a sweet piece, I really like the meshing on them and the shimmer to the pink toe. I wanted something glamorous and pink to wear with these and I think this maxi dress fits the bill well! The colours on the dress work perfectly with the shoes, the main colour is just that little bit paler so the shoes stand out well at the bottom of the length. I really like the pairing^ Next up are the Black Sydney Pumps, which are probably the most plain pair of shoes, but they just looked so elegant and fabulous, and importantly, versatile. I decided to keep on the dress theme to fit the look with the first, this floral gown just stood out to me immediately from my wardrobe, there's some black in it with the centres of the flowers but the bold colour really provides a good base so the shoes pop! I kept it Winter-ready with this long sleeved polo beneath which I think works out nicely. I'm so in love with my bag choice, I love it with the dress so much, the colours are perfect. And accessorising was easy again, black glasses and some little gold earrings made the perfect finishing touches =D

H O L I D A Y C A L E N D A R | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

As with most years, this December brought us the Holiday Calendar - a new festive item we can buy each day for stylings or decor design. I haven't found this year particularly good, I'm not so much a fan of decor pieces, and not a lot of the clothing items were to my preference (and they were quite expensive for what they were as well). I did pick up a few bits and I've spotted a few people styling up some of the items in great ways! First up is Proenza wearing the 14th - Boucle Sweater which is for sure my favourite piece of the calendar^ It looks so fun layered, and this dress choice is great, the print adds fab detailing while the colours are very complementary together. The accessorising is very fitting and suits the overall styling nicely, I particularly love these slim booties and their muted colour added to the strong black of the bag and belting, really perfect with the dress printing!
And then there is baksik7899 who wears the 18th - Beige Leather Jacket in this very cool street-style look, something I could never pull off! The jacket has such a range of colours and this styling draws them all together perfectly, love the skirt with it so much, the two are a dream together^ The combat boots give street-style vibes and I also love the neon additions in the bucket hat and socks, super cute finishing touches. I think this might almost convince me to buy this jacket!
And for my stylings, I picked up a few other items too, but I think these ones are my favourite - first up the 14th - Boucle Sweater which I've styled a little more casually than in the feature above with these trousers, I'm not sure I love the vibes of the pairing, but I really love the neutral colour which is almost a perfect match for the sweater. Accessories were a little of a struggle, but I'm so pleased with this bag choice, adding glamour but very fitting with the neutral colour. The bag made other accessories easy to choose with its gold details, these shoes and earrings are simple yet classy. Next up is the 08th - Red Sequin Blouse (sold as a pair with the 08th - Silver Sequin Blouse) which I really think is such a fun piece, never enough sequins for the Winter party season! I did struggle a little with styling this, but I really like the outcome, the white trousers really make the red pop and I managed to pick out a couple of matching red accessories that I think are great with this piece. It's so fun, and I think it will be great to see some others giving this one a go in their stylings. And finally the 07th - Puff Navy Jacket (which came with the 07th - Studded Belt) which I really liked as soon as I saw it. It's not something I'd usually go for as I prefer my coats/jackets as open pieces to show off the outfit beneath them, but I love the navy colour along with the black details around the neckline. That black gave me the perfect reason to add more black to the styling, I chose a different belt to the one that came with it, this one worked out very nicely. I kept navy in the trousers but black in the accessories - for me it works out great! A stylish Winter outfit without adding any bling or sparkles, it can be done^

S U B C O U T U R E | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

Starting off the festive weekend with a brand new Subcouture release! This was a bit of a surprise, I hadn't expected any other 'special' releases this month. Now this collection isn't so much my style but there are a couple of pieces that I think I can make work for me - so I'm not leaving the store empty-handed, and it sure helped to fill up my Gift-O-Meter bar. You guys seemed to quite enjoy the collection however so there are features to share from this release too, just not a full review.
First up with the features is ayselevi who styles up a number of the pieces, the Corset BodysuitTwo Stella BagsBlack Belt and the Off White Inspired Earrings - it's a lot, but I think they all come together very nicely here in this mountain-ready look, I'm getting all the ski vibes from this one! The print of the leggings breaks up all the black in the styling and I think it does that very nicely to highlight all of the different design aspects that the black pieces have. I love the belting design, the bag works very nicely as a piece to hang there, really something different that I hadn't thought of for the piece =)
Next is a styling pro - proenza wearing the Shoulder Coat. This is a piece I couldn't imagine how to style upon seeing it in the store, the flowing design looked quite tricky to work with - in this styling it looks effortless! This look is perfect Winter glamour, the texture on the coat is really highlighted in the outfit, and I love the sparkling addition of this top with it. The trousers are a perfect neutral, while the shoes are genius - the spike design is a great balance for the peaked shoulder design of the coat, I really love it a lot!
And the final feature comes from DIORian, this layering-pro styles up both the Red Dress and Highwaist Skirt to make one very sleek styling. This outfit really sells the dress to me, I love the bold wine colouring, but have been a little one the fence about it, this styling is super convincing. The dress layers beautifully, the ties add some nice detail, whilst the dark bold-shoulder jacket beneath adds a great base to style the piece lower on the body. It really works beautifully^ The white shirt and boots combination make a great base, the light colour really makes to highlight the other pieces in the look. Accessorising is spot on as always, love the draped necklaces and this adorable Chanel bag =)
I think after spotting these stylings I will need to make some additional purchases at the store! But for now styling up the pieces that first caught my eye in the release. First up are the Silver Boots High - I think one can never have too many awesome pairs of high boots in their wardrobe, and silver?! Something that will be stand-out forever. I found these super easy to work with, I had a lot of options to choose from, and decided that this snake-print skirt was something a little different, the two make a good match but also the boots still stand out. I kept the rest of the look with plain black and that works well highlighting the print and silver combination - I really love this one! Next up is the Corset Bodysuit, this sort of design is similar to some pieces we've had before and I've sometimes had regrets about not trying them out, so I'm not missing out this time^ I really loved the idea of white on the bottom with this to make the corset detail stand out, I had plenty of choice but loved this pencil midi in particular, adding the boots balances the colours well. Kept it simple with black and white accessories to complete - again, I really love this look =D And the final piece, the Two Stella Bags which is the only bag choice in this release. This is a design I really like, I love the two together, the round design and the black and brown colour combination - the piece really ticks a lot of boxes and the design/style is something new for the Plaza, I'd take more of this for sure. I stuck with the brown and black in my styling and am so pleased with the outcome, this shirt and trouser set really work well with the brown on the strap, and the black of the bag is really highlighted well. I struggled to get a jacket/coat to fit the look well so that the bag wasn't hidden, this short one just about works and I love the matte texture to it in the look which I continued with in the boot choice. Again, I love this look - this set of 3 really is one of my favourites, they all work very nicely together and despite not loving the collection as a whole I think I've done quite well from it!

P E A R L S | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

The recent PEARLS release was something quite different for the store, a new vibe completely from the usual retro/vintage style pieces on offer - interesting! And it sure went down well, I've seen so many stylings with these new pieces, you guys love it^ First up the features: the Orange Dress is by far the most popular item I've seen styled, so there are a few looks to share and they've all worked with the piece in different styles, so it seems a good versatile choice from the store. First up with the Orange Dress is carol.dany who styles it more as a top, the shape of the piece works well for this, and the waist shaping is quite nice to add to, this skirt is a fabulous choice! The skirt printing has a fair amount of orange, and this tone is a great fit for that of the dress, so it's a perfect pairing. I love the balance between white and orange accessories added, the shoes are great and the white bag and belt are also fab touches, I'm really loving the belt with this skirt^ The jewellery is simple yet standout - overall, I love it!
Also in the Orange Dress is harpie, this look also has layering but pairs it with an additional dress - the exotic printing on this piece is fabulous but the colour is pretty much a spot on match to the piece beneath, I love it! The draping at the neck is great and suits the style of the sleeves on the dress well. The accessories are also lovely, these shoes are quite fantastic, the brown is great against the orange - as is the gold printed design of the earrings. I also am quite a fan of the use of this purple velvet clutch, something a little different but I think it works well!
And the final Orange Dress styling comes from Brevis, where you can see the piece as a whole where the layering is underneath. I really love the 80's vibes from this styling a lot, helped along by the interior. The tights add a sleek touch, and the black accessories stand out very nicely against the orange without being overwhelming. Love the shoe choice so much, and the gloves work out perfectly in the styling. The little glimpse of blue in the neckline is cool too, it stands out very nicely =)
The next styling is from Mia1435 who wears the Tank Top Dress which is also in orange - I really like this piece too, the natural shaping of it is very nice with a cinched waist and I love the loose gathering around the hips before the straight of the skirt. This piece is layered so well in the look, I love the neutral colouring of the top but the drama added in the sleeves, a perfect pairing! The boots are also a nice neutral touch, the colour is great too. I also love the tied belting, it really helped make me spot this styling. I also love the bag use in this outfit, again it's something different but I really quite like the colour contrast^
Now veering away from the orange, styling the Leather Skirt is fraternite looking super cool and chic! This look brings a more calm colour-palatte to the features, I think it works out perfectly. The skirt and boot pairing is to die for, I love it so much =D This look makes me want to buy the skirt just to wear these two together. The nude top matches perfectly and I like the fabric contrast with the skirt, the little decals are a cute touch too. Blue is such a fun colour to add, a surprise to me, but I love it! The over shoulder jacket and bag look great with the nude tones - completely inspiring to me =)
And last but not least is Proenza styling up the Yellow Top in a styling that stands out in style in comparison to the others - this look is ready or a party! The black tank underneath the yellow works well and balances well with the heavy use of black in the bottom half of the look - the corset belt looks great against the yellow and I think the styles work well together. The sheen on the trousers is great, and in addition to the bold yellow, really helps draw you in to the outfit. The golden details in the accessories are also fab, perfect finishing touches =D
And now for my own stylings - there are a few pieces I'm still tempted by, like the Leather Casual Dress which is in a great tan colour, but for the moment I've just picked up two items, neither of which I've seen anyone else style yet. First are the Biege Boots which I think are a very nice Autumn/Winter piece, I sure have enough boots but I still had fun styling these - I knew I wanted to use white with these, I love white and tan tones together and so picked these pieces very quickly. My outfit is a little Summery, but I think it shows the boots will work year round too. I particularly loved the cardigan with the boots, and the bag is a great colour-fit to round off the accessories^ And then there is the Feather Shoulder Jacket which I think is just the best item from this release! It doesn't really fit the vibes of the other pieces, it's completely different and looks like it belongs in Voile really. I would love some matching trousers for this as I think they'd complete the look^ Anyway, I loved styling this piece so much, I have these silky-style trousers which pair pretty nicely with the style of the jacket, I'm quite pleased with that. I accessorised simply so that the focus was on the details of the jacket - black shoes and bag fit well and silver earrings add a tiny bit of glamour.

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 38

Revisiting this next LE collection feels super appropriate as it's a Winter one - the 38th LE collection! The best thing about Winter are the fun cosy stylings, there's nothing better than being snug^ This collection brought some glamour to the snug, and while some of those pieces aren't so much my style I've still got quite a number of pieces from LE38. I think I don't wear these as much as I should, so I'm excited to style them up today. I styled all of these pieces up in a previous styling post, so lets hope I come up with something different for everything^
First up the stylings with the clothing. On the left is the Fendi Inspired Checked Skirt, which is a great Autumn/Winter piece with the combination of the length and colour, I do kind of wish I had the matching top for this though as that would look awesome^ I have some great pieces matching in colour to the side panels and I love combining them, these boots are so perfect! I love this outfit a lot, it's a great colour to wear and the tartan design is really highlighted. Next is the Fendi Inspired Knitwear which is a very simple piece that I think I've worn a few times as a layering piece but not so much as the focal point of an outfit. I have to say I liked working with it trying to make sure it was the highlight! I thought it looked super cute with this matching navy miniskirt, and the boots make it Winter-ready - I like a navy and black pairing, so for me this worked very nicely. I added more black in the accessories, I thought this jewelled bag made a nice little glamorous touch against an otherwise quite basic look. I really love this look a lot, I'm ready to repeat it again already =D
These matching pairs of shoes are one of the most beautifully designed sets that I have, I love these so much and they really don't get enough recognition. First in the Leather Trimmed Satin Mules Black which I think I've only styled when they came out, but I loved putting together this styling and adore the outcome! I chose brown for the clothing from the brown straps on the shoes, these trousers are a pretty perfect colour-match and I like the slight contrast in the top. The black overcoat adds a good balance to the colours and I picked out other black accessories to stand out against the browns - it really worked out well and I'm so in love with this styling! Then there are the Leather Trimmed Satin Mules Pink which despite having the same design, have quite a different vibe to the first pair. I went all out with the pink and I think it works perfectly - I did try to add some gold but nothing was quite the same shade as the shoe straps so I kept the gold additions to a minimum. This shirt and trouser pairing looks fab with the shoes, I think they're so perfect together. I kept adding pink in the lighter toned earrings and darker toned bag and I think it really works nicely - this is another one that I'm ready to repeat!
And the final two stylings, on the left is the Fendi Inspired Wrap Bag which is one of my favourite bags that I've styled a number of times before. Interestingly I don't see many others styling this bag at all - if you have it, definitely give it a go! I really like the brown and black combination, and I followed that through in my clothing choices. These new brown trousers seemed the perfect choice and I chose some simple black pieces to match up with the bag - I think it's pretty cute and there are numerous combinations of clothing that would work like this. I added a little gold in the accessories to match with the tiny golden details on the bag and I really like that addition. The final piece are the Silver Leather Boots, which are such a lovely pair of boots that I haven't given enough attention to since their release. I have tried to style these a couple of times but have struggled with the light wooden heel the boots have, this time I just kind of ignored that as it blends into the flooring quite well, haha! This outfit worked out quite differently to how I was trying to style these boots previously and I really like it. The dark coat makes for a nice contrast against the light print the boots have and in turn I added light tones in the clothes to give another element to that contrast. I thought the printing on the skirt was also a fun touch to add, it's not too bold so I think this works nicely. A few simple accessories finished off this styling, and again this is an outfit I'm looking forward to repeating^

R U N W A Y | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

Brand new RUNWAY hit the Plaza a couple of weeks ago - and alike the previous release, this collection isn't limited by number of pieces, however it does still retain that 'limited' price tag. So pieces aren't too cheap in this release, which is a bit of a shame as I'd be tempted to give more items a try if they were more affordable. Anyway, this release is quite fun, with some bold colours and designs across the 8 looks on offer. The designs in this collection won't be for everyone but I've spotted a couple of pieces that are hugely popular so far, and even I've managed to buy a couple of things that I'm excited to style!
A couple of features to start off, both styling the Lace Gloves Top - this first one is from an absolute queen of styling, DIORian, who layers incredibly well and has such a great flair! This skirt is such a great fit for the top, the colours and designs are great together. The layering of skirting is super cool here, love the sheer delicate detailed piece underneath for a maxi length. And the leather black boots make a good balance in colour with the gloves, as do the added black accessories in the belt and glasses. Look at all those jewels! The necklaces are super cool and work well against the gold details on the skirt^ Such a fun creative styling =D
Also with the Lace Gloves Top is Fergaysson, someone else who never goes wrong with stylings, another perfect way to style this piece! Again, these trousers are a great fit for the top, the colour is great and the simple design highlights the details on the top. I love the black belt choices, these two layered are great and I love the metallic vibe in the top one, which also works well with the clutch bag, it's a really great piece in this styling, a fabulous choice^ The gold shoes and little golden earrings are perfect finishing touches, so much love for this outfit too!
And for my stylings - I love the idea of the Lace Gloves Top especially after those features, but I would really prefer the piece if the lace gloves were separate, for me it makes it too difficult to style in my preferred way, so I'll be passing on this piece. I'm a little tempted by the Satine Jacket, it looks amazing and something quite different, and of course also the White Satine Skirt but I do have some similar pieces to this already. But onto what I did get! First up the Pyton Sandals which I thought were a super cute mule-style shoe. I love the snake print, the low chunky heel and the little gold detail at the front. For styling I wanted to highlight the tan on the inside of the heel, and this bag makes for a super cute pairing. With the focus there I wanted the clothes to be minimal, beige is my go-to and it never fails - simple but effective^ I added more gold with the earrings, I'm just lacking the perfect thin gold belt for this styling, I think I'll need to search the Plaza and Bazaar for one! Then I also picked up the Lace Skirt which I think is just so glamorous, I was a little worried about styling such a sheer piece but I couldn't resist the beauty of it and decided I could be up for the challenge. I've gone all black, and I think there will be many combinations of tops and accessories that will work well for this piece. To combat the sheer element I've added a thicker pair of black tights and also a black body, I'm quite happy with the outcome of that combination and it definitely helps the skirt be more wearable. I added a little silver in the accessories, but I think this piece has the potential to be next level glamorous - I just need to build the confidence for that!

B I Z O U | Styled Outfits

I really quite liked out Autumnal Bizou release - all the perfect tones that I love for this season! My wardrobe is now well stocked with some fresh brown pieces that I'm really quite excited to style up, I think these will be classic Autumn pieces that I can come back to year after year^ First up the Brown Leather Pants which I'd say seem quite popular as I've seen them styled quite a few times these past few weeks. These have a great fit on the doll and I think the leather effect comes across very well. For me cream tones are obvious to pair with browns, and it's worked well here with a mix of cream and beige pieces. The lights boots and top balance well and the slightly darker blazer adds variation to the mix - I love the style of this one with the trousers. I stuck with quite minimal yet fitting accessories with little gold touches. These were very easy to style, I'm sure I'll be styling them again in no time! Next is the Brown Sweater, which I did find a bit tricky to style as a main focus, but I'm still pleased with the outfit. The brown tone is more muted than many of my other pieces, and I think that works well with the tone of this coat, I really like the two together. I added a light trouser to keep the look from being too dark, this smart pair works nicely I think. I struggled a little with accessories, no bag was quite right for all of the pieces involved! And finally the Brown Boots which I loved working with, there were so many clothing items which looked good with these. I was very keen to wear a skirt or dress for this styling, there were a lot of choices in a range of colours, but I really loved the brown on brown with this pleated midi. I chose a beige sweater to lighten the look and I really love getting to use this one as it's definitely been a little neglected in my wardrobe. The button details on the shoulders add some nice detail. This brown bag made a perfect finishing touch - this final outfit is my favourite of the three for sure!

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 36-37

Time to revisit more LE! This time I'm looking to the 36th and 37th collections which came out in 2018 - I will disclaim that these two don't pair together well at all, but I needed to include LE36 with another collection as it was a tiny release of 1 floor and a handful of pieces. I only have 1 thing from this release but it's something I really like so wanted to make sure I could show it too. LE37 is definitely a favourite of mine, so much Chanel inspiration and it's a collection that I have quite a number of pieces from - I had more but have sold some of the shoes as I think I went overboard at the release and bought them all, but I think there's a piece or two that I'd love to try out. On to the looks:
First up is the Marant Inspired Cropped Blouse (36th Collection), the only piece I have from this collection. I do think it's a super cute piece, but it's definitely not the easiest to style for me. I struggle with cropped pieces a lot and this is definitely one of those, plus the colours are not the easiest to work with - I love the green a lot, but I don't have too many pieces to match with it. Having said that I'm quite happy with this look, the print on the piece has reds, pinks and beige tones, so I opted for a beige trouser and I think the two work ok together - I really didn't want to wear a coat or jacket with this as it would really have covered a lot of the cute details, I love the ruffle trim to the sleeves and hem. For accessories I picked my best greens to match, this bag is a surprisingly good fit, I'd completely forgotten I had it, but am so glad that I do as I really like it with the top. The shoes do, but could be a better colour match. Overall not too bad, but I think there's much more potential for this piece. Next up is the Cozy Pattern Sweater (37th Collection) which I think is such a lovely fancy sweater, but is something I've really never worn. I think that's down to me really wanting to wear coats in the Winter season, but this piece really should be a focal point and not hidden under something else with all of those details - the pattern is nice and the sleeves are standout. I really love this look for it, super simple but I think quite stylish. I love the velvet texture of the trousers with the texture of the sweater, and I highlighted the beige of the pattern with the accessories, which finishes the look nicely, I really like how it's worked out and I definitely need to make more effort with this piece again in the future!
Next up is a set styled separately - I love these two pieces, but they're quite fancy so not so much in my 'everyday' regular clothing items that I reach for a lot. First is the Chanel Inspired Jacket (37th Collection) which has so many details, I love all of those trims on it, the beautiful collar and the split sleeve design, all so great! The white/cream trim gives the perfect opportunity for pairing other pieces, and I love these flowing wide leg trousers with the jacket, the colours and styles fit together nicely - in fact I'm surprised I haven't worn this pairing before. For accessories I started with these glam shoes, I love the nude colour with the little sparkling brooch addition and had to continue that silver theme with the clutch and glasses. I think it's lacking something, I didn't have the perfect pair of earrings for this one but I think they'd be a nice touch. And then there is the matching Chanel Inspired Skirt (37th Collection) which again is such a beautiful piece. I have styled this a couple of times, so more than the jacket, I certainly find it easy to style outside of being worn with it's partner. I love these sheeny boots with the skirt so much, the colours and vibes are perfect. I kept it super simple with matching coat and top, but for the accessories I tried something different, there are little blue touches in the tweed design so I decided to try that out for the accessories - the bag and glasses are a good fit together and I think they don't look too bad at all in this outfit! A surprise to me, but a pleasant one of course - I think I would definitely try something like this again =)
For a pair of darker looks now, first up the Armani Inspired Embroidered Jacket (37th Collection) which is just one of my favourite LE pieces of all time, I love this a lot and have styled it quite a few times. I decided to try something different this time, I don't think it's quite worked out how I imagined it, but I'm still glad I tried it. I really like this skirt, but I don't think it's a great choice for this piece, the black is a little too matte against the black of the design on the jacket. I do love these boots with the jacket, they really work well with this LE collection as a whole. You win some, you lose some - this combination isn't a winner! Moving swiftly on to the Silver String Midi Skirt (37th Collection) which despite being quite a glamorous piece, it's one I've worn quite a few times. In my stylings with it I do think they're all quite similar so I tried out a different top here, I love this open neck one, I think it looks great on its own and with this skirt. The silver belt works well between the two and helps to add a bit of a waist to the look, it also balances the silver well with the addition of these fun hooped earrings in the top half of the styling. I stuck with simple shoes, but so many pairs would work well with this skirt. I'm super pleased with this styling =)
And for the final two stylings, back to light colours. On the left are the Ecru Ankle Boots (37th Collection) which I've really not worn much, I think this style is something quite basic, and you can't go wrong with a pair of white booties so they're always handy to have around. I really love this outfit a lot - these trousers work well with colour and style, I love the matching roll of the hem with the roll on the boots. I kept the jacket the same colour but played with brights in this bag and the top, any colour could work well here but I was feeling the Autumn vibes when putting this together; I really love it a lot! And the final piece, probably my most worn item ever, the Satin Shimmer Trousers (37th Collection) which I'm sure you're all familiar with as I style them all the time! They're very much my go-to piece for so many outfits, they've really been a great item to have. I tried to go for something a little different with them, I love them matching the base colour of this coat, the two are perfect together and the coat brings in some great extra detail with the coloured sleeve - I used the black line details to add to the look, the basic black top keeps the focus in the right place and I love these simple shoes and bag, they go with so many styles and pieces, alike the trousers they're also classics. For sure this is a look I would repeat in the future^

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

November brought us some brand new LE which made me super excited! The release didn't quite fit my expectations - there are a very small number of outfits and the pieces are not so much within my style preferences. I did manage to pick up a few pieces that I'm excited to style though. I like that Stardoll are trying out something new, but for me I'd rather these more exotic style pieces were in a different store. There isn't a clear theming across the store, which is definitely something I miss from the previous releases of LE.
And for the features - I have to say I've not seen that many people styling up this release but there have been a couple of pieces that seem like popular choices! First up is Fergaysson wearing the Round Jacket, this is certainly a stand-out piece, and I think it's definitely one of the more wearable pieces of the collection. I think the styling of it is perfection, I love the gold skirt, it pairs perfectly with the gold cuffs on the piece as well as the gold jewellery added. The white top is a perfect base for the gold and really helps the blue be highlighted. The white marbled-style shoes are a very nice touch and give a nice balance to the light colours. Looks great and makes this piece seem quite easy to style =D
Next up is harpie styling up the Fringed Trousers - the styling is quite Summer-Mediterranean-glam with the interior from the release also used. This sheer black shirt looks fantastic paired with the trousers, I love the tuck at the waist and the sleeves are great against the fringing design. As a fan of gold, the gold touches in the accessories and in the bralette under the shirt look great. So glam, I can't get enough!
And finally is kiedis who also wears the Fringed Trousers and pairs them with the Sequin Stiletto too - these trousers are quite perfect for a super fun shoe choice! The two pieces are great together and the silver of the shoes pairs well with the delicate design detail on the bag. The smart shirt is a fun choice with these trousers, the corset-style belting looks great too. And I really love the hair and beauty look with this outfit, super classic^
And now for my stylings. Firstly I knew I had to pick up the shoes, especially with the holiday season there's always room for some more glamorous footwear! First up are the Sequin Stilettos which are just super beautiful to look at and easy to style. I did end up covering them a bit with the trouser choice but I loved the sequin addition that these trousers added to the shoes, the blue looks great! I kept with a light and blue theme, the white works well with the silvery sparkles too I think. I went for a glamorous bag, this silver one is great with the shoes. Then I also picked up the similar Pearls Stiletto which have a classic design in black with pearl detailing, I really love it! Whenever an accessory has pearls involved, I can't resist going all out - this time I picked out this fun dress which I think is a perfect style-fit for the shoes, I really love the pairing! I've made it a little more Winter-party ready with a polo underneath and a jacket over the shoulders. Tights would also work well with an outfit like this, but I quite liked keeping the legs bare this time. Again with a sparkly bag, it's detailed but the small size balances the attention well in the styling.
For the second set of looks, first up the Fringed Trousers which I really think are the best piece of the collection, I had so many ideas for these that I didn't know what to do first, but I'm super pleased with this result. I knew I wanted to style them with boots, and this fabulous pair is just perfect. The cropped and fringed details on the trousers is perfect for highlighting the design details on the boots, and those same details give great options for adding more colour to the styling. I tried out quite a few of them before deciding on the blue, this shirt is proving to be such a great piece in my wardrobe! I kept with blue for a simple bag, but added some more glamour with these dangling earrings - overall I'm so pleased with this look! And finally the Medusa Bag which I was very kindly gifted by a friend, such a classic design, it really does well to stand out in the store against some less-classic style ideas. This piece has a lot of versatility so it will look good in many different outfits. I tried to go for something a little dressier, I think it looks good with this pleated midi skirt, and I love the drama that this golden-shimmer top adds, it's fabulous. I really tried to make some gold shoes work here, but nothing was quite right, so I've gone for a basic shoe then added gold with the earrings - so much choice for accessories! I'm quite looking forward to getting a lot more out of this bag =)
