M U S E U M M I L E O F F - W H I T E T R I B U T E | Tribute Review

I'm so glad that the Winter Tribute season has arrived! First up we have a release into the Museum Mile store, which has become a bit of a tradition - these releases do hang around longer than the typical Tributes, so you'll be able to pick up pieces from this Off-White Tribute for some time to come =) This is a perfect place for a new Off-White release and very fitting to be the first Tribute of the season to the late Virgil Abloh. Let's get into the store:
This release is 2 floors with 6 female and 2 male mannequins across them, I think it's a nice balance and an alright number of pieces for a Tribute release. For the purposes of this review and that I have a female doll, my focus is on these pieces. The release is based on the Resort2021 and AW2021 collection - these both have so many great pieces that I would have loved for my doll, so I would take another Off-White release based on these if it was on offer! First up looking at the accessories, there are quite a lot on offer in the store. There are 5 pairs of shoes which is split between heels and boots - I really quite like the mix that's on offer. I picked up both pairs of heels, the OffWhite Inspired Sandals which are the black lower heel shoe are such a classic design and I think will be great in Spring/Summer look, and the OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals are just adorable, love that bow detail and the white colour works well for my style - again these will be great in Spring/Summer. Of the boots I've just picked up one pair so far, the OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots because I think these are just fabulous, you can't miss them at all! The colour sold them to me, but the design of them is also very nice, I love the sheen and the loose fit around the leg is quite perfect and fitting for current trends. I'm also quite tempted by the OffWhite Inspired Black Boots, the slightly chunky design isn't usually my thing, but these only have that thick platform heel and are quite fitted on the foot and ankle. Plus I also very much like that sheen! So I think I might pick these up to give them a try too. There are 4 bags in the release, I haven't bought any of these yet but there are two which are tempting me. I love the look of the OffWhite Inspired Blue Bag - who doesn't need a fluffy blue bag in their wardrobe?! This piece is super fun and I think it will look great in the right outfit, think I just need to see it styled on a few dolls to have me convinced! Then also the OffWhite Inspired Black Handbag which has such a classic design and style to it, really a timeless piece that looks great - I'm just wondering if I need yet another black bag. There are some other accessories in this release, the jewellery pieces are really very nice - I love the OffWhite Inspired Chain Earrings which are a nice chunky gold pair and you can also get the matching OffWhite Inspired Chain Necklace, and the OffWhite Inspired Blue Earrings are pretty stand out!
And for the clothing - again I think it's pretty good! I haven't picked up too many pieces yet, but after seeing a couple of the features below I think I will be making some more purchases. Starting with my favourite pieces of the release, the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and Skirt set, this caught my eye immediately - it's completely up my street in terms of style and colour and I think it looks great on the doll. The pieces also seem very versatile so will work well as separates too. Also as a very cute set are the OffWhite Inspired Checkered Blazer and Skirt, again these will work well together and as separates, my only hesitation with this set is the low slung style of the Skirt, it's designed to sit on the hips which isn't my preference, but with resizing I think it could still work out nicely. The checked pattern is really nice and the Blazer design is fab, it looks so good on the doll so I'm quite excited to work with this one. The OffWhite Sequin Jumpsuit isn't so much something I would wear but it's quite a cute piece, I thought it looked pretty cosy and could make a nice Winter layering piece. I love the smokey-style printing on the OffWhite Inspired Shorts and OffWhite Inspired Dress, it's so pretty especially with the pink - but I'm going to pass on these pieces because when I first saw the Dress I thought it was a top and skirt together, and as separates this was perfect for me, so I'm a bit disappointed there. But never mind, there's still some fabulous pieces to be had in this release!

T S L T O P T H R E E
OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals | OffWhite Inspired Blazer | OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots
These really were the first pieces that caught my eye in the store, and were the first ones I wanted to style when working with the pieces. These have beautiful designs and I think will be pretty good for year-round stylings for a long time to come!

F E A T U R E S
First up in the features is Tangera styling the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and matching Skirt - super cute and super smart styling^ I love the addition of the belt, it looks great against the white of the blazer and I think it pops nicely, adding to the look but not distracting from the pieces. The shoes and bag are both very fitting for the style, but I particularly love the floral brooch and tulle scarf, so adorable and great style-fit for the new pieces!
Next up is Proenza wearing the OffWhite Inspired Shorts and the OffWhite Inspired Black Boots making for a very cool dressed up street style look. The boots look particularly awesome in this styling, I love them with the socks and the shorts are a perfect length to go with this pairing. The meshed top is a nice balance with the socks, as is the leather jacket against the boots, I love the oversizing of it, and it looks great with the mesh top. Love the hair and beauty look too, perfect finishing touch for the outfit =)
This feature comes from Mia1435 styling the OffWhite Inspired Checkered Blazer and Skirt set which is really kind of tempting me to pick up this co-ord! This is such a cute outfit, I love the detailed mesh pattern of the tights, it's fun against that of the clothing. And the dot cut out top looks fab, again adding to the details. The boots are a little balance to this with their studded details. The accessories are so cute, love the belting and also the jewellery^
And the final feature for this post is from DieForDIOR who styles up the OffWhite Inspired Minidress and OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots - this look is a lot brighter and lighter than the others, so it really does stand out! The dress layers very nicely with the white shirt ontop, the off the shoulder design works perfectly and the dress peaks out well. Love the white tights too, all makes for a perfect background for these blue pieces to really pop - the boots look amazing and I love the bag with its added pearl chains, so creative!

S T Y L I N G S
Now for my own stylings - I bought quite a number of pieces and so have paired items together where I could. First up the OffWhite Inspired Skirt and OffWhite Inspired Sandals, these look good together and actually the skirt would look good with any of the shoes I got in this release. I thought this printed blazer would work nicely to tie the pieces together, I think it's a pretty nice piece with both of these new items. I'm lacking the perfect necklace to fill the neckline of the blazer, but otherwise sticking with simple black accessories works nicely for this look. Next up are the OffWhite Inspired Bow Sandals, these looked good with many different clothing items that I tried out so I'm looking forward to using them again already! I loved them with this belted skirt, the colour of the shoes and belt are a perfect match. Again kept it super simple, the black base is great to pop the white colour in the look. So so simple, but so effective, I really love this one^ And finally pairing the OffWhite Inspired Blazer and OffWhite Inspired Blue Boots which were such fun pieces to style. These trousers are a great fit for the blazer in terms of both colour and style, which I'm super pleased with as they are on of my favourite pieces. The boots gave the perfect reason for more blue in the accessories, this bag is a fab and fun piece to add, it looks great with the boots, and this necklace is a great piece to fill the neckline well. This is a smart-glamour styling, something a little different for me but I really love the outcome.

M U S E U M M I L E M I U M I U T R I B U T E | Tribute Review

Not gonna lie, I was getting a tad worried about Tribute season happening this summer, but it's here! And starting off with a bang (and in the classic way now in Museum Mile) with a brand new designer for us - Miu Miu! I absolutely love having new brands included in the 'Tribute family', it's the best, and I'm stoked that it's Miu Miu as the designs are usually stand out and recognisable - let's get in and see what it's all about:
The retro vibes that Miu Miu has won't suit everyone, and whilst all of the styles in the store aren't so much to my taste, I have to say I really love this collection as a whole - I think it gets the Tribute season off to a great start! This release is based on the SS21 Miu Miu collection which is a great collection overall and you should check out if you have some time. There is just one floor to this release with 6 looks to choose from. Starting with the accessories, these were what drew my eyes across the whole collection - I love the mix of designs and colours available which will suit a lot of different people. There are 3 pairs of shoes, all in a mule style which I just love so much. I've bought 2 of the pairs (so far), the Miu Miu Sandals Silver, which actually look very baby blue and pink to me, but I thought were so cute for Spring/Summer and I love the low heel design, and then I also got the Miu Miu Inspired Sandals which are the classic mule style in a dusty pink with a criss-cross jewel pattern across the front, again loved the chunky heel design on these and while they're quite simple they'll look great with quite a few of my favourite pink pieces so I had to have them! There are also the Miu Miu Red Sandals, I'm a little tempted by these as the shape of these is really interesting, I'm just not 100% sure I'd actually wear them yet. With the bags, there are 4 choices for us and they really bring in some of the classic Miu Miu design features that are very recognisable as Miu Miu. I've picked up 2 so far, but I'm still tempted by the Miu Miu Blue Clutch, the royal blue colour is beautiful, but how the doll holds it looks a bit odd to me. The pieces I did buy were the Miu Miu Black Bag and the Miu Miu Inspired Bag Rose - these are just such classic designs^ The patent black looks amazing on this dinky structured piece and I adore the silver jewel design on the front. I knew I loved it already as there have been both a Hotbuy and an LE piece a few years back in a similar design and I adore those, so adding another piece to my little collection is great =) The ruffled/gathered design of the pink is stunning, I'm not sure I remember having a piece like this in the Plaza before, so I'm quite excited to try out this amazing design - the colour is also great, it's one I know I'll wear, so that's also a great bonus for me! There are also a couple of other pieces in the accessory category, the Miu Miu Pearls Sunglasses which are pretty cute and in a retro rectangular design, plus the pink colour is super cute; there are also 2 pairs of earrings, the Miu Miu Pearls Earrings which I think look beautiful close up but the design really gets lost on the mannequin and viewing not zoomed in, and also the Miu Miu Plexy Earring which are quite unique and I really like them for that, love the detailed design on the long chain, but again that gets a little lost - so I'm still thinking about whether to purchase these or not!
Now for the clothing, which at first I was very 'mixed bag' about, but after some reflection I think it's better than my original impression =) The sport-style pieces aren't so much my thing, and I'm not the biggest fan of little shorts/miniskirts like the ones in the store, I do love the colour of the Miu Miu Knit Shorts Turquoise and the intricate jewelled design on the Miu Miu Pink Skirt, but I know I wouldn't wear them so it's a 'pass' from me this time. So far I've actually just bought one clothing piece, that is the Miu Miu Inspired Satin Coat which is such a beautiful piece, the pattern and fabric is just so delicate and elegant, it's stunning on the doll! I think it will make for a perfect Spring piece. There are also 2 very nice dresses in the store, the adorable Miu Miu Yellow Ribbon Dress which is another classic-design piece from the brand, and one that I think it super lasting in style. The baby blue, yellow and gold are perfect together, it's a great piece, but something I know I wouldn't wear often at all. And also the Miu Miu Inspired Chiffon Dress, which really isn't my style at all, but there's something about it which I like - the colours are great, love the mix of red with pink especially, but again it's something I know I wouldn't get the wear out of. I lastly want to mention the tops in the store, because I'm really considering making a purchase from this selection. Firstly is the Miu Miu Buckle Top which is a great Summer style with the red and white stripe design. I think it's quite a smart looking piece with the fitted design and the cute collar and I like the trim of the slimmer stripes at the sleeve cuffs and the hem. Plus with the buttons, it really comes across as a short sleeved cardigan, which is something I could get on board with, so I'm really considering getting this piece^ Then lastly are the Miu Miu Voile Top and Miu Miu Voile Top Yellow which are a cute pair of pieces, but I'm really on the fence about. I like the idea of the gold detailed collar, but I think there's something about the yellow-ness of the gold that's putting me off. The puff sleeves and design down the front of the pink one are both very cute and I'd love the give that a go - so I'm a little tempted there, I think I need to see someone else styling it first for me to make up my mind =D

T S L T O P T H R E E
Miu Miu Black Bag | Miu Miu Sandals Silver | Miu Miu Inspired Bag Rose
It just had to be accessories that won the top picks really, they're just too good! These are pieces that I'm really pleased to have in my wardrobe and that I'm so excited to style up and share those looks with you =)

F E A T U R E S
First in the features is GirlEwelina styling the Miu Miu Yellow Ribbon Dress and looking super cute and ready for Summer^ I love the addition of these white sleeves, it makes the dress have an 'everyday' factor to it and seems easier to style now. I also love the minimal yet fitting accessory choices, these blue heels are just perfect for the colour of the skirting, and the little yellow bag is the perfect balancing finishing touch =)
Next up is Proenza styling the Miu Miu Pearls Sunglasses, Miu Miu Plexy Earrings, Miu Miu Inspired Sandals and Miu Miu Pink Bag - these pieces are fabulous together^ The dusty colour of the pink looks great with this beaded bralette and then all together they work well to pair with the bold pink of the blazer, I really love it, I think it works perfectly! The neutral trousers are a good choice to balance all the pink. Overall really perfect for showing off the collection^
Looking perfect for Spring is our next styling from kate17Elegante who wears the Miu Miu Pearls Sunglasses, Miu Miu Inspired Satin Coat, Miu Miu Pink Skirt and the Miu Miu Sandals Silver - what a set that looks amazing all together! The satin of the coat is perfect with the pink outfit underneath, the two are very complementary to each other and the jewelled detail on the skirt is carried throughout the look with the accessories. I particularly love the green sparkly tights added, so perfect to pair in with the detailed pattern on the shoulders of the coat, so much love for that detail in the look!
And the final feature to share is from aby400 who styles up the Miu Miu Inspired Chiffon Dress and does a great job at trying to convince me to buy it - I love this outfit so much! The simple style is perfect to highlight all of the design-aspects of the piece, I love the use of the turquoise bag, the colour is perfect with the top of the dress, and the beautiful red shoes (also Miu Miu inspired, and I have regrets that I used to have these but sold them!) are a great balance with the trim on the ruffle of the dress along with the earrings. Plus those delicate fishnet tights are great against the sheer sheen of the skirt - so much love for this look, it's a winner =D

S T Y L I N G S
And lastly for my stylings! First up is the Miu Miu Black Bag which is for sure my favourite piece from the release. I didn't have any solid ideas for this one when I started styling, but searched in my wardrobe for other Miu Miu pieces and when these fabulous trousers came up, the idea formed immediately! I don't mind blues with black, so I think this outfit works out pretty nicely particularly as the blue is very dark. I love these patent heels with the look, they're a great match for the bag and I know I'll repeat this combination for sure. Finished with my favourite sunglasses and a few silver-based accessories in the belt and earrings, I really love it all! Next up is the Miu Miu Inspired Satin Coat which I think was the most difficult piece to style in terms of finding items to work well with it - I did find it quite limiting. But I'm pretty pleased with the look in the end, I think this white skirt and the pale pink silk top look nice together and suit the style and colours of the coat. I focused on the pinks with my accessories, and I think these shoes are perfection with the coat, but a bag was incredibly difficult to decide on. I really wanted to wear some green with the coat to highlight the details on the shoulders, but I really have nothing in that shade to include, so that's for another time! And lastly are the Miu Miu Sandals Silver, and these actually gave me the hardest time for styling - I wouldn't say they were difficult, but I kept finding a piece or set of pieces that I liked with the shoes but could never find other perfect pieces to complete the look. But I'm pretty happy with this styling in the end, I particularly love these trousers with the shoes, I think they're such a good pairing! I really like this oversized shirt with this pairing, and the bow detail still gives it an interesting but subtle touch - it's the perfect sort of piece to help try and stay cool in the hot Summer! Accessories were another palavor of trail and error, in the end I'm pretty happy with my choices, the purple hues in this bag work very nicely with the greys and really bring a lilac feel to the trousers and sandals, and these silver heart earrings are just so sweet^

M U S E U M M I L E K A R L L A G E R F E L D T R I B U T E | Styled Outfits

Opening up the Tribute Season, alike last time, is a Museum Mile release, inspired by Karl Lagerfeld designs over the years, which I think is a very nice and fitting touch. Overall though, the styles aren't so much my thing. There is a pretty iconic piece included however, the Hulahoop Bag, which looks super fun, I can see some amazing looks with it coming out, particularly for the Spring and Summer. I just made one purchase from the store, the Ready To Wear Stripes 1981 pair of wide leg trousers in black and white stripes with almost a silvery touch to them - I thought they could make some cool holiday looks this season^
Black and white were the obvious choices for these trousers - I did try out some silver pieces, but nothing was quite perfect, so I'm on the hunt for more silver pieces to pair with these! Love this black blouse, the cool oversizing of the shoulders is a great detail to add. I kept simple with the rest of the black accessories, although added something super fun with this bag, it's got silver vibes to it, so I think it's a pretty great fit for these trousers! Then with my white look I've brought out this fabulous faux fur coat from last Winter that I wore literally all the time^ It's a great piece for these trousers too^ Again super simple with accessories in white and made good use of the Novemer HB's too with the bag, sunglasses and boots =D

M U S E U M M I L E J P G T R I B U T E | Tribute Review

Tribute season is here! Alike last year we are starting off with the Museum Mile and a Jean Paul Gautier (JPG) Tribute - not one of my favourites, but I'm sure the designs are pretty memorable to most people. Let's see how the store is looking!
Highlights The store has just one floor, but it's pretty full with 7 looks for the girls and 1 for the guys. There's a real mix of styles included, but really everything is recognisable as JPG, which I really like - sure there are some quirky pieces, but there is a great range available in the collection.
Accessories There are a number of pairs of shoes in this release, they're all quite individual and are definitely show-stopper pieces. The Frill Boots and Frill Boots Black are pretty cool with their tulle design on the top. The body of the boots is very nice, but I think they might be quite tricky to style and fit in with a wide range of pieces given the frill shape. The Blue PVC Shoes and PVC Satin Shoes are both strapped pieces with a copper-style base - they're nice, but just not pieces I would wear myself due to the chunky nature of the strap design. And lastly the Shiny Red Shoes, likely the most wearable piece, these have a nice stiletto heel and a lightly pointed toe, I like the black and red ombre style colouring to these^ There is just one bag, the Snake Skin Flower Bag, it's pretty nice, but I think it's not too stand out.
Clothing The clothing offerings are definitely much better than the accessories - so much to choose from, and I think maybe a little something for a lot of different people. There are a lot of different colours, but the iconic blue and white stripe combination holds the focal point with the Marine Frill Top and Stripe Top, I really quite like the tulle, I think it will definitely make some fun summer stylings with a little creativity. These looks also use the Blue Stripe Trousers and Stripe Trousers White, which are definitely some of the most wearable and versatile pieces in the release, being in black and white, with a pretty good general trouser design. Rounding off these looks is the Strong Shoulder Jacket, this looks a great piece, the blazer/dress style is still going strong and this is a great contender^ The shoulders have a little point, and I really like the deep V neckline on this occasion.
And then there are some cool coloured pieces to choose from in the rest of the store. The Spike Shoulder Top really stands out to me being in a great coral colour, it's one that I love to wear and we don't get a lot of - the shoulder spikes are pretty big, so it will add a challenging element to styling for sure! The Snake Skin Dress really stands out, it's a much darker piece than the others which makes it pop. The print is very nice and I like it in the red rather than something natural, and the shirt-dress style will make it easy to wear. A second very nice dress is the Paris Dress which has a pink/nude sparkly base and is designed with the city of Paris in mind - it's such a fun piece^ It won't be for everyone as it definitely needs a little thought for the styling, but I think it could make some unique outfits. For something slightly more wearable there is a denim choice, I really like the pairing of the Jeans Shirt Jacket and the Jeans Skirt - the Skirt definitely is eye catching with the cool fringed design all over, a fun summer piece for sure =)
Prices This release ranges from 14 to 31SD's, which is fairly average for a Tribute release. The pieces are not SS or Royalty limited which is great, and if it's like last years MM Tribute release, it will stick around in the Plaza for quite some time (you can still buy the Givenchy if you like^).
Styled Outfits So far I've just bought one piece, the Blue Stripe Trousers, and I really couldn't have been more 'typical me' with all these blue additions to them in my two looks! In the first styling I went for all black clothing, a little wintery, but I managed not to style a coat or jacket on top! I have so many accessories in this shade of blue, so I tried to pick out pieces I've not worn in a while - the style of this bag I really like with that of the trousers. And of course blue heels to balance the colour. In the second styling, I picked out this blue top which I haven't worn in quite some time, it definitely brings a more dressy vibe to the trousers but I really like it. And I kept with that theme in the black accessories. I found these trousers pretty easy to style so I think they will work out well in my wardrobe =D
Features And some great features to share with you now! First up CodeKunst wearing the Belted Shorts and looking super cute for dressed up summer^ The colour of these shorts is perfection with this floral top, I really love that! The blazer colour is a fab tone too, and the style really makes the outfit seem more formal, as do the silver accessories =)
Next up we have Marta-43 styling the Strong Shoulder Jacket as a dress. The leather boots really pull you in with the shine, and I love that the shine element is continued with the sparkly bra piece and also with all of the earrings, they're perfect with the gold buttons on the piece^ The belting is great, the bag works perfectly as a finishing touch!
And the final feature, millaxx wearing the Jeans Skirt in a perfect light summer styling - exactly how I would wear it with a white shirt^ The neat fit of this one means the waist is really accentuated and I love that the blue really stands out well with the white. The other pieces are very minimal so the design of the skirt really steals the show =D

M U S E U M M I L E G I V E N C H Y T R I B U T E | Tribute Review

It's the start of Tribute Season! A little different by being a Museum Mile release, but it's a Tribute none the less - Givenchy! The heading and advertising look great, it's eye catching in black and gold and the filtering on it looks fantastic! The model is definitely selling this collection =D
Highlights The collection covers 3 floors, which is pretty great, and covers a range of past collections rather than just the most recent release of Givenchy - and there's a few pieces which are awfully similar looking to items we've had in the past, so that's a little disappointing. There are many pieces in the latest collections that I think would have gone down well. There are a couple of male looks too in this collection, so that is a plus.
Accessories The store has a reasonable number of accessories and a range of pieces to choose from, but I didn't find them to be hugely impressive. Starting with the positives, I love the Givenchy Inspired Bag Blue mostly because it's blue and I went on for a long time about not having enough blue bags - with the number we've had in recent releases, I think that has been rectified! The size is really nice and I like the crossbody style for it. There is also the Givenchy Inspired Antigona Bag Black, but I don't find this quite as nice a piece, although it does have a nice and minimal design and style. I feel quite disappointed by the shoes because a quick google of 'Givenchy Shoes' shows a huge range of designs and I think going with the wedge style that has been chosen isn't such a good look. I'm yet to see anyone wear the shoes. The piece I am lastly quite tempted by are the Givenchy Inspired Sunglasses - I really like the matte effect that the frames and lenses have and the little golden details, they look pretty good! And they fit on the doll really nicely too^
Clothing There are a total of 10 dresses in this release, that's quite a lot! It's a really mixed bunch in terms of styles, lengths, colours, fits etc. so I think most people will find something that works for them. I also include the Givenchy Inspired Lace Jumpsuit in this category as it's a one-piece and it's definitely one of my top choices - I love the square neckline and the lace sheer detailing, plus it has a good fit. The light colour is perfect for summer. There are quite a few dark dresses, but the Black White Lace Dress combines the best of both with black detailing on a white skirting. The one strap design is great and the tuille skirting has a great light design to it. The length of it is perfect, it's a super classic piece^ And then the blues! Two blue dresses, the Givenchy Inspired Stripe Blue Dress which has a deep V neckline and a very quirky shape with an oversized top half and a loose knee length skirt. This was the first piece that caught my eye in the store, so I knew I had to have it! And then the Givenchy Inspired Blue Gown which is a lighter piece in a pastel tone which I like, I also like the printing and texture on it - zoom into the dress and see these cool details! I like the shaping around the top half, but it does look a little big on the hips. Being a gown, I'm also not sure how wearable it would be either.
There are 3 bottomhalves, all of which are skirts and pretty glamorous choices. The Givenchy Multicoloured Skirt and Givenchy Inspired Feather Skirt are maxi pieces oozing glitz - frills and feathers, and I have to say my doll looks amazing in them even if they may not be everyday pieces^ The Kiss Velvet Miniskirt is the most casual piece, and it's not even all that casual - the gold lip design is really nice and I think the piece looks good in store, but I dislike the fit on the doll, it sits low on the hips and looks quite long and therefore not quite so flattering. And just a couple of tops to round out the clothing. The Kiss Lace Bodysuit is a cute piece matching the skirt, while it's sheer, the lip printing on it is nice and I really like the tied sleeve design. And of course, the Givenchy Turtleneck Black is an absolutely classic piece, who doesn't need a well fitting black polo in their wardrobe?! Well probably me because I have several already, but I can't miss out on this one! I love the sharp design of the shoulders and the slightly looser fit of the sleeves, it's just fab =)
Prices This release ranges from 9 to 28SD's with most items right in the middle of the range, which I think is pretty good for a Tribute. Nothing is SS or Royalty and so the collection is accessible to everyone for this summer - not sure how long it will stay in the Plaza, but previous collections have stayed for at least a month.

Styled Outfits I didn't buy too much, but I bought a fair number of pieces from this release! First up the Givenchy Inspired Lace Jumpsuit which I styled minimally to give a summer look that showed off all aspects of the piece, and as the blue theme ran through the other looks, navy was my colour choice and I think this works out really nicely against the white and silky texture of the piece, particularly the contrast with the biker jacket. Next up the Givenchy Inspired Stripe Blue Dress which I am just loving on my doll! It's obviously not a dress I'll be wearing all the time, but it's so fun and I think it looks great. I didn't add too much, but I love the jewellery filling the neckline, it definitely needs something there! And lastly a whole host of pieces in the third look, the Givenchy Turtleneck Black, Givenchy Inspired Bag Blue and the Givenchy Inspired Satin Jacket which is a menswear piece but works perfectly well on the female doll too - I think it's something a lot of people will get a lot of use from! They are quite a dark combination, which I continued with in the skirt to let the bag stand out and paired it with the shoes - this will make a great autumn/winter outfit =D
Features And the features of course! First up Elrry wearing the Givenchy Black Belt in this neutral stylish look. The belt is layered and looks great with the tied one beneath, the patent-ness of it makes it stand out clearly. The white base of long top and sleeves are great for the belt, and I like the checkered trousers to add black to start with then the heavy accessories. Plus that hair!! It looks fab in this outfit =)
Next up Isabella8103 going for the Givenchy Inspired Stripe Blue TShirt, a male piece but it sure does look great on the female doll! I love the fit around the waist and it looks fantastic with these navy fitted trousers. Love the pops of red in a muted tone, all of these accessories are totally perfect - especially these earrings!
In contrast, super light with this styling from misstrendydresp - wearing the Givenchy Inspired Lace Jumpsuit and Givenchy Inspired Off Shoulder Coat. It's a simple pairing, but looks amazing and the accessorising really makes it stand out. Love the big golden hoop earring with the very cool street-style hair. The shoes are a neutral touch, and I love the bracelets^
Also wearing the Givenchy Inspired Off Shoulder Coat is RiManiKordenty, choosing similar tones but a cute pairing of this wrapped top and smart straight-leg trousers which I really like, the coat compliments these pieces well! Accessories are stand out and pop against the clothing colours and also the hair colour, perfect =)
And lastly natusia_182 wearing the Givenchy Inspired Stripe Blue Dress - it's all about the additions! The black shoes and bag look great with the navy striping in the dress, I love the straps on the shoes, they're perfect in this look. Then silver really shines in the jewellery, it draws you in to that makeup look too, so awesome!

M U S E U M M I L E | Release Review

Last week brought us our latest Museum Mile collection which was themed on the recent(-ish) Stardoll's Next Top Artist contest, so it was definitely anticipated! For me, although the homepage ad shows off some of the top art, I don't feel like it sells me the store very well so I didn't get a great first impression, but lets take a look:
Highlights Stardoll really did choose a lot of winners, filling three floors with pieces originated from StarDesign, which I think is great and gives a lot of users a chance to shine! I'm not a fan of the artwork pieces or the stock tees, they're just not my style so I don't plan on focussing on them in this review.
Clothing For me the clothing was a pretty great haul in this release, with the outerwear particularly catching my eye - I think there are some fab pieces there which have been picked and designed (both by the user and by Stardoll) well =D Fur was a definite feature in the store, with 5 outerwear pieces featuring it in different colours and styles! My favourites are definitely the bylovely Sweater, emmy anna Faux Fur Jacket and ClioFlowers Faux Fur Coat, although the green/blue Claudentia Faux Fur Coat stands out really nicely in the store and I'm quite tempted to give those tones a go! The styles of these pieces are all very current and I think a lot of us are excited to get our hands on some trends for our dolls! Also in outerwear I can't not mention the femdem Jacket, it's definitely a huge favourite from the release, and what's not to love?! The off shoulder style is fab and that bright red is eye catching and will work in so many different looks - it certainly ticks a lot of boxes and I'm really excited to style mine for this post! Honestly not a whole lot more stood out to me as pieces to buy from the clothing choices in the store, I like the lemon printing on the emmy anna Bikini Top and Bottom, but it's not a piece I'd get a lot of wear out of, and there's quite a few dresses too, but they're all just very similiar, I can't see any of them that stands out and makes me go 'wow' =/
Prices This release ranges from 10 to 30SD's in the pricing category, and a lot of pieces are over the 20SD mark. There are some SC items in the release too, and nothing is limited to SS or Royalty, so that's a bonus. But overall I don't feel this store hugely worth the prices, so this definitely had an effect on what I chose to buy - if things were half the price I'd have been sure to try more.
Styled Outfits So the winter feel to the clothes definitely influenced my looks with the pieces. Firstly the femdem Jacket in a fairly basic style with a sweater and dark trousers, couldn't resist matching boots though. Simple but effective though, I can easily see myself working this in a few different styles this winter! And then the bylovely Sweater, an absolute must for me, it's white and knitted with furry sleeves, what's not for me to love?!?! Again, stayed super simple with the styling but I think it's all you need when your sweater is a statement piece, I really do love these Greige Velvet Boots in the look, the browns of them and the fur seem a good fit and I look forward to wearing the combination again.
Features It was pretty easy in finding features for this post - certain items from the release were pretty popular! So first up a couple of styles with the femdem Jacket. This one is from beee. and it's a casual winter styling, I love so much the pairing of it with the dungarees, the colours are a good contrast to each other and the boots fit in perfectly^
And then France25 choosing something still casual but on the classic side choosing black and white pieces with the jacket standing out in the style. I really quite like the untucked shirt and sweater sticking out the bottom of the jacket, it can be quite a cute style. The trainers are also a good fit =)
Next a look with the Claudentia Faux Fur Coat by Marina495. This style is perfect with those velvet trousers, they're just fab with the colour of the coat, and the floral details on the top are spot on. Accessories are pretty perfect too, everything is just quite right =)
Then a style with the bylovely Sweater from miver, going with a typically classic look for this sweater in all white. A skirt looks great with the piece, and it's something I wanna try next^ Love this pointed heel combination too, it suits the style overall, as do the framed glasses - very sweet but also stylish^
And finally pandaribbon, who has gone over the top styling four different looks with the Claudentia Faux Fur Coat, bylovely Sweater, femdem Jacket and then the DESAFlOO Sweatshirt. All of these styles are great with huge individuality in each one! I particularly like the bylovely Sweater with the leopard print and then the DESAFlOO Sweatshirt with the lace layer - huge thumbs up for all that hard work =D

M U S E U M M I L E | Styled Suite

Monday came with a brand new Museum Mile release entitled 100 Years of Style - I loved the spoilers but was disappointed with the prospect of yet another limited store release. Lucky for us, this time round wasn't limited and the prices are pretty good too! I'm a huge huge fan of the artwork and am so glad I was able to purchase the pieces I wanted, not gonna lie, that was pretty much all of the paintings^ I've not had a good think about how I want to use everything yet, but I thought I'd share some initial inspirations for two of the pieces. Firstly is the 1926 Tamara De Lempicka Picture which is filled with hidden deep golden tones and some lovely browny dusk shades, there's so much to see in it! I focused on dark metallics with the use of this seat and kept the other pieces pretty minimal and to a small number - but I really quite like it as a focal corner to the room!
And then the 1956 Vicente Romero Redondo Picture, I really focused on the gold frame but also the lack of darker shades in the painting and so didn't want to add many to the room. I love this gold couch and some small details really work for it.
So these most definitely aren't final, but I'm happy with them as a start!

What did you guys think of this release and the artworks available? And my rooms - like what I've done so far? Let me know in comments =D
