I N S P I R E D B Y A N N A S U I | Tribute Review

The Summer 2026 Tribute season has begun, and starting us off is Anna Sui! It has been a loooon time since we've had Anna Sui feature in our Tribute releases, we had one in the Summer of 2018 and one all the way back in the Summer of 2012 - both of which I still remember clearly. Anyway, let's get onto the current release:
I was really liking the flowy-Summer-boho-vintage vibes from the advertising of the store and a wide range of pieces were really highlighted, however I don't think those vibes really flow through into the collection as a whole - while I love some of them, some of them just aren't hitting the spot for me. I just thought some of the pieces looked better in the RL collection, and there's other items in the collections that I would have preferred to see, but anyway, moving onto the review! Overall there are 3 floors with a total of 15 outfits, with 2 pieces available for both male and female dolls.
Accessories: quite a few pairs of shoes to choose from, 7 in total in a range of colours from neutrals to brights. The styles really remind me of like early 2010's styles with the chunky heels and straps, which aren't so much my thing but I know will suit some dolls well. The Embroidered Black Bow Mules are a more minimalistic and versatile choice, I love a mule design and these have a really nice shape to the toe as well. I do love the Embroidered Satin Bow Mules, lovely design with the tapered squared toe and the green and nude colour combination is very pretty and standout. The Embellished Lace Satin Mules are also a tempting shoe, with the open-toe design and the lace flower detail is also a standout focus of them - these pop really nicely in the store. The store only offers 3 bags, and I'm still a little on the fence about them. The Floral Fringe Pouch Bag is very cute but I'm not sure how versatile it will be. I also love the idea of a brocade/tapestry style bag, but something about the Tapestry Memento Bag isn't sitting quite right with me, I'm not sure what it is but maybe I just need to see it style up! I do love our little freebie from this collection though, the Metallic Sequinned Patterned Clutch, super delicate and detailed and I love the small size and light colours. There are quite a number of other accessories in this collection. Now I'm not really a glove wearer, but I do think the Sequinned Metallic Gloves are a really fun option. The Veiled Fur Embellished Headband also looks like a fun option, more of a Winter-glamour type of piece but I think this would be a fun finishing touch to many stylings. There are a few knee-high sock options too, the Argyle Pattern Socks are nice and remind me of an early LE collection, while the White and Black Cutout Lace Socks are good simple styles that will be easy to wear. There are 5 pairs of sunglasses in the collection - now these aren't my favourite styles or colours to wear but I'm super tempted by the Animal Print Square Sunglasses and the Green Round Fade Sunglasses - but for sure all the colours and designs are standout in the Plaza. Jewellery-wise there are a few choices, I really love the Black Beaded Earrings, these are a pretty design and look versatile and pretty on the doll.
Clothing: starting with the first floor. I could see this one looked a little mixed in styles and designs, but I could see potential from some of the individual pieces here. The first piece to catch my eye were the Embroidered Blue Denims, these have a dark denim base and a very pretty light embroidered pattern on the bottoms of the length, which I think is fun and unique. While I don't think they go with the Embroidered Fur Neck Jacket, I do like the jacket on it's own as well, it matches with the shoes and I love the colours to it, completely unique to anything else we've had in the Plaza. The White Rose Lace Blouse is very pretty, however we've had quite similar pieces in the Plaza previously, and while it looks great on the mannequin in the store, the sheer-ness is a lot more on the doll, so I don't like it on my doll as much as I do in the store. The Fringe Patterned Knot Dress is also quite standout, I like the design and details to it, and love the brown and lilac colours together. The Floral Fringe Midi Dress is similar, and I do like this one, however the beige base colour to it doesn't suit my doll at all, so it's not for me, but will look great on others. Onto the second floor. This give me lots of Winter-glamour-party vibes, so for me a little not fitting with a Summer release. I really wanted to like the Sequinned Jacket and Slit Skirt set, super fun pieces and I like the idea, but I don't so much like the quality of the design of the pieces on my doll, something's just not right about them. The skirt does look better than the jacket, but I'm just not feeling the pieces when worn on my doll. The Fishnet Sequinned Ruffled Skirt is quite tempting, I like the ruffle and mixed sheer design and the shimmery vibe, and also loving the shimmers on the Collared Embellished Mesh Minidress, this is super cute, love the little collar and the floral design overall. The third floor brings us back to light Summer and resort-ready looks. The Blue Print Duster caught my eye immediately, I like the volume to it and the open design, giving it lots of versatility for what you wear underneath. I really wanted to like the Patterned Embroidered Long Dress, I like the pink and when you zoom in to those details, it looks amazing, but you really lose that detail when you zoom out again and the overall fit doesn't look so great on my doll. The White Ruffled Lace Top is a cute piece, versatile and will be a good layering option, both the details and the fit of this one are very nice.

First up is Pietra wearing the Blue Print Duster and I think it looks great here with the white pieces as a base, and the lace details on them. The accessories here are fun choices, combining the chunky boots with the delicate jewel choker-style necklace and the headpiece. The bag in red is such a fun standout addition to the outfit =)
Next up we have sarah_1980 who once again wows with a look full of the new collection, wearing the Animal Print Square Sunglasses, Fringe Patterned Knit Scarf, White Rose Lace Blouse, Plaid Sweater Vest, Metallic Sequinned Patterned Clutch, Denim Embroidered Pearl Dress (top-up gift) and the Embroidered Satin Bow Mules - just wow! The pieces all look great together and I really like the layering of the dress in particular^

Then we have Sneja who also wears the Plaid Sweater Vest but in a different way, I think it looks so fun combined with the different prints, patterns and colours here^ The best combination for sure though is the banana necklace, it's just such a surprise in there but amazingly is a great fit - I love the overall tropical vibes to this one for something a little different with plaid!
And then I spotted two looks from SS-diamond and just had to include both because I think they highlight the versatility of the collection well. First are the Green Patterned Bikini Top and Bottom pieces together, while they're layered under other pieces, the colour and print still stands out beneath the lace and I love the overall green pops in the accessories - super classy Resort styling here. And then secondly is the Blue Print Duster, and it really looks so different to the other styling above - I especially like this fuzzy vest layered ontop, the colours are just perfect with the blue and it really helps that pattern on the jacket to stand out - really making me inspired with this piece =)

I N S P I R E D B Y S I M O N E R O C H A | Styled Outfits

Finally made it to the final Tribute from last season, probably just in time for next season XD Anyway - stylings from Simone Rocha are here! I wasn't a hundred percent sure about how styling the release would go, it wasn't my favourite from the season, however overall I'm really happy with this set of stylings. First up the Flower Green Crystal Earrings and Embellished Denim Jacket which are very nice together and I really love those embellishment details on the jacket. I was really keen to go with an all denim look for the jacket and I'm so pleased I had some jeans that match almost perfectly, these pieces are so cute together! I kept the accessories simple, choosing pieces to complement the bronzed metal of the jacket details and I think I've picked quite well, love this fancy clutch in a more casual setting but overall the look is for sure elevated by the delicate strapped heels as well. Next are the Grey Polo Sweater and Crystal Flower Headband together, for sure more versatile pieces that look great together. Much like the vibes of the pieces, overall I've mixed casual and dressy together. I do find grey quite a tricky colour to style well on my doll but I think this is looking alright. Casual vibes with the white jeans keeping the look light, while mixing in the glamour with the accessories, I'm especially loving the belt, shoes and headband combination and will repeat it!
Next up first are the Black Satin Shorts and Embellished Blue Rose Bag - I really love a smart short for the Summer and there's so many ways to wear them. I wanted to go for a blazer initially, but when this shirt popped up I really wanted to run with it because I love the colours and fit of the pieces together, and overall I like the more boxy vibe to the fit of the clothing. I kept it fun and light with the bag and these trainers, perfect to combine both the dark and light of the other pieces and I really love them with shorts, so that's an idea I'll be wearing through the Summer. Then we have the Blue Pearl Bow Bag which I just really love, what a cute piece, I knew I wanted to pair it with these shoes and I love it! I kept the outfit mixed, this light skirt really lightens the look and pulls the eye in with the contrast, plus this tone of blue is great with the pearl details =) And third are the Black Embellished Sweater and Black Embellished Sheer Skirt, again in such a great combination together. I was really unsure of the skirt when I started trying to style it, nothing was working quite right, but adore it with the sweater. Super simple to let the details on both really pop, with accessories in black and silver complementing the clothing well - particularly loving these little kitten heels with the skirt^
And the final looks, something a little more fun and popping here^ First, combining the Crystal Flower Headband, Red Ribbon Crystal Earrings and Red Rouched Babydoll, these reds were so easy to pair and I loved coming up with this look a lot. I was struggling as to whether this is meant to be a top or a dress, really it works as either, for me I liked it more as a dress and I'm so pleased with the final styling for it. All out with the red, and I think this lace layer underneath gives a more wearable vibe to the skimpier style, and an elegant touch, I can see it in the evening in Paris under the sparkling Eiffel Tower. Accessorising was fun because I have quite a few red pieces to choose from, these shoes were a dream to add and then added some more silver from there. So much love for this one! Next are the Crystal Pearl Ribbon Earrings and Sheer Embellished Long Skirt, and this skirt again, I struggled with, this time I think more the longer length was a bit tricky to think about, but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out. It layered pretty well with this light midi dress, I think the colours are nice together and the embellished details stand out just enough. I loved adding this belt, I think the delicate design and sparkle are perfect with the skirt. Definitely looking forward to seeing more dolls wearing this skirt and seeing what can be done with it. And last but not least, the Crystal Flower Pin and Sequinned Flowers Layered Dress - how could I resist sequin flowers in such a beautiful shade of green?! This dress is for sure not an everyday item, and it's all about itself, it's got a lot going on and deserves to be the centre of it's stylings^ But I love it! As soon as I saw the green all I could think about was this dress with these boots, absolute perfection, and this bag also was the perfect touch. I couldn't decide between green and pink glasses, so I opted for bougie and picked both - green on to start, and the pink are on the bag for a swap, both looked fantastic with the dress and rest of the accessories =D
