What Do I Want To Change In My Closet? | L E

It's time for part three of this little series - I've shown you what I have in terms of both accessories and clothing, and now I'm focusing on the change, covering the pieces I want to sell and then some of the pieces I'd quite like to add to my collection from over the 41 LE collections that we've had!

S E L L
First up, what's heading to my bazaar? I actually found this quite an easy task, sure I worry that I might regret selling some pieces, but I think on the most part once they're gone I will forget about them and will move on to another piece. For accessories, I'm parting with quite a few different categories, and really these are more the 'trend' pieces rather than the classics. The one that I think is the hardest is the Piercing Handbag (second bag in 'Accessories'; Mar. 2017, 31st LE Collection) in the beautiful pale pink, I wanted this for a long time then was able to get it in the Bazaar, but I just have never been able to style it how I wanted, it's just never quite worked out, and I'm a little disappointed with that! I don't think there's as much clothing here as I thought there would be, maybe there will be a second step in the clearout! I'm selling quite a few dresses, which clears my collection of unworn pieces a lot, and I've also managed to pick out 2 pairs of trousers, so 1/4 of the black trouser collection is moving on, which is a good start, but I need to work on that some more! For me I don't think any of these pieces are really a 'surprise' that I want to part with - come and check out my bazaar if you want to pick up any of these pieces =D

And now what I think is the fun part, what are the pieces I'm hoping to pick up in the Bazaar myself. I'm doing it in collection order, and where I know the name, it will also be included. Here on The Stardoll Lookbook I have posted about most LE releases from the 14th collection onwards, you can check out the earlier releases *HERE* at Underneath Stardoll. I'm pleasantly surprised by the small number of pieces that are on my mental 'LE Wishlist', hopefully not to expensive to fulfil^

2nd LE Collection
I've had my eye on this bag for a little while this year, I like the tote style and the quilted design. Also love the knotted handles and the combination of the black and the dark denim. I think it could make some cool looks - it would be awesome if we could 'try before you buy', especially with this piece^ It's pretty old, so I'm guessing this will be a tricky one to find!

4th LE Collection
When I re-discovered these boots this year I was drooling, are they not so beautiful?! I love the slim fit they have, but there's a little looseness in the leg. And the toe shape is just stunning, the perfect style for me at the moment. Also loving the dotted metallic design, perfect for the Winter season I think! And this bag is super pretty - it also comes in a pink design, but I like the green as it's something I've not get anything else like. I also like the small size to it, and the looped handle, the length of the handle really sits very nicely - I've got my fingers crossed for this one!

Quilted Velvet Purse | Dolce Vida Woven Bag | Rich Burgundy Satin Heels
So despite buying a lot from this collection, there are still a few pieces I want to add to my collection from it. These bag pieces weren't so much my style at the time of release, but now I'm loving the vibes of both of them. I'm really lacking in velvet pieces, and this burgundy colour is beautiful, along with the intricate quilting design. And the second piece is just full of details, love all of the floral and lace style appliques and I really like the bucket style with the short handles. I just missed out on these burgundy heels when the store was released in the Plaza, I probably could have looked for them, but they've been a little more buried at the back of my mind - I think I'll focus on them for a little now that I've refreshed my wishlist as such!

LE Elegant Over The Shoulders Jacket
I think this jacket might be on everyone's wishlist! It's a great piece, and there's really nothing else quite like it. I love an over-shoulder piece, and I'm lacking one in black. This one is such a smart piece, I really think there will be no regrets with it and it will fulfil all of my black over-shoulder jacket wishes^

Armani Inspired Embroidered Jacket
And a jacket that's a little more fun! This piece has a classic fit, and it has a very nice overall shape to be flattering on the doll. I like the mid-fasten of the piece while having a deep V neckline and the bottom not joined. It's all about the cool print for sure though, I think it looks really great, and the black on the cream base looks very classy. I think it does manage to have some versatility to it and I'd really love to add this to my wardrobe to work with it.

What's In My Closet? | L E C L O T H I N G

Following up from the accessories post, now I'm looking to the clothing pieces! This took a little while, because I have waaaaaay more pieces than I thought I did - this is a perfect opportunity for a little clearout of my wardrobe, which the 'Save or Sell' posts helped with a little, but there is a whole lot more here to think about. So let's take a look at what I have amassed over the 41 LE collections that we've had!

D R E S S E S
As someone who doesn't wear dresses a lot, and writes that often about dresses in releases, I sure do own a lot of dresses ... oops! There are 14, mostly more recent pieces, so I think I've gotten a little more spontaneous with my purchases recently. There are a couple that I've really worn quite a few times so were very worth it, like the LE Chloe Inspired Cable Knit Dress (bottom left 'Long'; Nov. 2016, 30th LE Collection) which I think I love because of the gold and cream colour combination. But then there's pieces I adore the style of but simply haven't worn because they're not hugely versatile like the Rattan Ruffled Dress (first 'Short'; June 2017, 32nd LE Collection) and the Fringed Evening Dress (second 'Short'; May 2016, 28th LE Collection). Keep an eye on my bazaar because quite a few of these pieces will be looking for new homes^

T O P H A L V E S
I have to say, I don't think my top collection is too excessive, given that I wear a lot of trousers thus need tops to go with them^ I think there's a pretty good mix of pieces, colours and styles here, but also a fair mix of pieces I've worn a lot and that I haven't worn at all. I wear the very recent Pelle Shirt (first 'Button-up'; July 2019, 40th LE Collection) quite a lot considering I've only had it a handful of months. I'm still really rooting for the Cropped Silk Blouse (second row 'Blouses'; July 2019, 40th LE Collection) which is also quite recent, and I want it to work out so badly, but I'm just not sure if it's meant to be! It's hard to think about the more Summer pieces right now in the Winter, but I'm pretty happy with the pieces I have for that season, I wore the Woven Monochrome Tank  (first 'Short/Strapped'; Feb. 2016, 27th LE Collection) quite a lot a few years back and I really think I will wear it again this coming season, I'm really happy to have this piece as it's not one you see worn a lot.

B O T T O M H A L V E S
Welcome to excess! And I mean that in no exaggeration, how many pairs of 'fancy LE' black trousers does one doll need?! It certainly can't be 8! Ok, so I know I'm a person who loves trousers, and that's very clear in this section, there is just about something in every colour and all the patterns you can think of. The skirts and shorts are minimal, which is about right, I wear these less, and actually I'm planning on cutting this section by a piece or two - one of the major skirt surprises has for sure been the Silver String Midi Skirt (third 'Skirt'; Oct. 2018, 37th LE Collection) which I think I bought on a whim, but actually I really like how I've worn it so far! Now back to the craze that is my trouser collection - there are a couple of my most worn items ever here, like the Satin Shimmer Trousers (second top row 'Trousers'; Oct. 2018, 37th LE Collection) and the Pleated Burgundy Pants (second row second on right 'Trousers'; Feb. 2016, 27th LE Collection). So something needs to be done about the crazy amount of black trousers obviously, because I'm not sure I could tell you when I last wore one of them - I styled up 3 of the pairs in a Save Or Sell, but ended up keeping them all XD I need to get the courage to be more ruthless with them - help me out in the comments with your opinions on this situation!

O U T E R W E A R
My outerwear collection is a quite a bit more restrained, which I'm surprised at, I thought I had a few more pieces than this - but it's a good thing I don't! There's one piece I've worn to death over the years, the Orange Maxi Vest (third 'Long'; Nov. 2015, 26th LE Collection) which I've really gotten the value from. The rest of the pieces are a little more recent so haven't had much time, but I think a few pieces like the Chanel Inspired Jacket (first 'Short'; Oct. 2018, 37th LE Collection) and the Pink Blazer (second 'Short'; July 2019, 40th LE Collection) will make some really fun Spring styles in the upcoming season!

What do you guys think of my LE clothing collection? Any favourite pieces or collection in particular yourself? Let me know in comments!

What's In My Closet? | L E A C C E S S O R I E S

I've been thinking about this mini LE series for quite some time, and I'm finally getting to it! 'What's In My Closet?' is possibly a new segment where I share more about what is actually sitting in my closet. Having it themed is a good focus, and there's no better place to start than LE^ It's a 3 part series, at least this time, sharing the accessories then clothing that I have, and then doing a post about the pieces I would like to change about my LE collection.
Starting of with the accessories - shoes, bags, belts, sunglasses, if it's not clothing then it's in this category. I have to admit I was shocked to learn I had over 50 pieces classed as 'accessories', like seriously, where did they come from?!?! Obviously I knowingly purchased them all over the years. I have been around on Stardoll since before the first LE collection (2008), and now there have been a total of 41 collections! It's kinda crazy to think about, but I've had a long time to gather this collection.
E X T R A S
My collection is mostly made up of shoes and bag, however I do have a small number of 'other' pieces, and actually the belts here are probably some of my most worn LE items ever, so they have been worth it on some occasions^ I've been getting a lot of wear out of the Modern Classic Shades (third pair down; Feb. 2016, 27th LE Collection) recently, I love the mix of the black solid frame and the blue tint to the lenses. There are a few pieces I haven't worn so much, like the Brown Croco Belt (second on the left; June 2018, 35th LE Collection) which is still fairly new, but I think hasn't lived up to my expectations.

S H O E S
Ok so I have a lot of shoes! But actually some of these really are in the category of my 'most worn shoes ever' so I think it's ok in that case^ I'd say shoes are more of a recent thing, I haven't kept around many, if any, pairs from the earliest of collections even though I've owned them over the years - I think shoe styles change so much with the trends and our preferences, and that's happened with me for sure. I'm big on heeled shoes, as evident from only one pair of flats, the Ultra Modern Flats (Feb. 2016, 27th LE Collection) which although I very rarely wear, I've been holding on to for that 'just in case' moment. The design is super cool, they look amazing, and they deserve more recognition than they get for sure! There's quite a few metallic/shiny pairs of shoes, I love bringing these out to style, for sure the Gold Lace Lattice Heels (second on top row of 'High Heels'; May 2016, 28th LE Collection) are one of my most worn in that category, I really think of them as an everyday gold shoe - which is totally not a thing, but I love it^ As it's Winter right now, my mind is very much on boots, so I see these as top choices of the season. I think we all know I wear the Alexandre Vauthier Inspired Metallic Boots (tall, green; Dec. 2017, 33rd LE Collection) a lot, these are one of my favourite ever pairs of shoes, let alone LE pairs =) There are also several pairs I've not worn particularly much but I think these are more trend-led pairs of shoes and the particular trend never stuck with me, like the Armani Inspired BW Heels (first, bottom row 'Low/Mid Heels'; Oct. 2018, 37th LE Collection) and the Fishnet Heels Boots (third, bottom row 'Boots'; Oct. 2018, 37th LE Collection) - both very nice pairs of shoes, but just ones that haven't worked for me.

B A G S
And lastly in the accessories, the bags! Alike shoes I think I have a lot more recent pieces, and actually I think I've had quite a high turnover of bags - these tend to be fairly affordable in releases, so it's easy to buy a couple to try, and then they can be sold on in the Bazaar if I decide I don't want to keep them. I do think I wear the bags the least out of all of the accessories, but some have really become well-worn in my wardrobe this year, like the Snakeskin Jewelled Bag (first 'Crossbody'; June 2018, 35th LE Collection) which I've really worn quite a few times, love both the colour and the jewel design on the front, and then also the Fendi Inspired Wrap Bag (brown base with zebra handle 'Hand Held'; Dec. 2018, 38th LE Collection) which has super surprised me, which I really like^ Then there are a couple of pieces I'm really holding onto more for sentimental reasons which I haven't worn either at all, or very much - the Mega Sequin Purse which is a very old piece (fourth 'Crossbody'; Dec. 2009, 5th LE Collection) and I just love the idea of it, I think it has so much potential, but even 10 years later I'm not sure it's quite 'there' yet. And also the Padlock Purse which is just as old as the first (second 'Crossbody'; Dec. 2009, 5th LE Collection), again I love the idea of this piece, it's a great size, I like the details on it, it should be one that works out, but I think I've maybe only worn it once or twice since buying it [I got this in the Bazaar, sometime around 2015]. There are also a couple of pieces featured here that are new to my collection that I bought during this past year in the Bazaar which have been on my list for a while - the LE Loewe Inspired Bag (third from the top 'Hand Held'; Aug. 2016, 29th LE Collection) and also the LE Dionysus Black Leather Bag (right top 'Hand Held'; Aug. 2016, 29th LE Collection) which I missed out on first time around and I'm so happy to have them to style up^
