B I Z O U | Haul + Styled Outfits

I had recently styled up the Satin Blouse from Bizou and when making my purchase of it I noticed quite a few other items I wanted to give a go in styling Spring looks for - so I made a little of a Bizou 'haul' and styled up the items today!

First up the Zebra Skirt which is a super fun piece, I like the draping and the length, the green colour definitely makes it a unique piece, I'm not sure I've seen many people choosing to style this one. I wanted to try and style it with some other green, but I don't have anything that's quite the right shade, so I'm on the lookout for that in the Plaza or Bazaar! But I love this look anyway, all the white really makes the green pattern pop. This is such a cute look for Spring, I wish I had it in RL to wear^ Then we have the Cherry Blouse, which from afar the pattern doesn't really come across as cherries, but it's pretty cute, I like the ruffle details. I picked super basic trousers, the darker colour really lets the light blouse stand out, and I balanced that with light shoes too. I did struggle a little with accessories, but I think this belt and the bag are a cute pairing, the bag is definitely a great fit with the trousers. And finally the Lace Shirt, which I see more as a cardigan, but a very cute piece with the delicate detailing all over it. I love the round neck and just the slight unbuttoning into a small V. I think I tried on just about every bottomhalf in my wardrobe with this piece, it was a little tricky with the pattern to find something perfect, but in the end I'm really pleased with the all-white look I've gone for. The lack of patterning in the pieces lets the detail really stand out in the styling - I've even gone all out and added earrings, they look so cute in the look, a perfect finishing touch =D

Haul #3

Bit of a skirt-athon it seems:

I think I've been a bit crazy on the skirt front this past week, I bought all of these in the bazaar! 11 skirts is quite a lot, I probably didn't need them all, but I might as well try and style them seeing as I have them =D

So far I've worn the Blue Twinkle Paillette Skirt, I placed a navy mini underneath as a slip layer, and chose a white blouse ontop:

I think it's a simple yet effective way to style the skirt, it has a lot of detail in itself, so I think adding prints or lots of other potential focal items would have been a mistake.

This week I plan on styling some more of these skirts in my And Today I Wore series of posts =)

Haul #2

My second haul post! These are items that I bought in the StarBazaar over the past few days and that I'm looking forward to styling:

So far I haven't worn any of the pieces, but I hope to style at least one of them with trainers =)

Both of the dresses are perfect for summer, the maxi will keep my doll cool(in the virtual heat wave of course!) and the cutout one will keep her looking high fashion =) 

I don't like the backdrop I've chosen, but it's only a minor issue =)

Haul #1

Welcome to my first Haul post! This contains 4 items which I bought at the end of last week, well Wednesday to Friday really =)

 I bought the two purses and the skirt in the plaza and got the sweater in the bazaar (I got a really good deal from the girl I got it from, makes a happy K =D). 

So far I've only worn the bright pink bag, if you've been in my suite recently you'll have seen my styling of it with a white LV inspired blouse and some DKNY white trousers. I plan on wearing the skirt next, so maybe there'll be a styled outfit with it tomorrow or Tuesday!

So thoughts on Haul posts? Let me know all thoughts, especially on the layout of the clothes, I'm really not sure what works best for you guys too!

Haul

Decided to begin a new segment, Haul posts! Lots of RL fashion bloggers do this on blogs and in Youtube videos so I thought I'd get in on it for SD! I'll be doing these posts every so often, just when I have a bunch of clothing to show! I had planned on having this first post with an actual haul, but I'm still deciding on the best way to present the items and also whether I want to also include styled outfits too, for example if I'd bought a skirt would I include tops I'd wear with it or accessories I'd use? So still some decisions to make! If you have any thoughts, comment!
