Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #20

Can't believe that's the end! Definitely took longer than expected, but it was worthwhile to see it out - and it's truly made me pay much more attention to the Beauty Parlor items available along with styling them with looks and makeup!
The last item, a final pair of earrings - the My Date Earrings from Glam 'R Us, originally costing me 6SD's, but currently available in the Bazaar!
Went for glamour with this last look and with the earring name I couldn't not choose the Lupita Gown?! It's not a piece I wear often but the colour is a great match with the earrings. For the makeup I headed a little down the green route but it definitely has some sea hint to it, and I really love it!

I really hope you guys have enjoyed the challenge as much as I have! Let me know what you think in comments^

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #19

The penultimate challenge post! The piece for this post are the Gold Diamond Earring from Glam 'R Us, a previous Plaza store so you'll need a little StarBazaar search to find these ones. They're not something I'd go for but I did enjoy coming up with this:
The outfit is just alright, but I'm fairly impressed with myself at coming up with that makeup look! A whole lot of components and I wanted to base the tones off the diamond stud portion of the earrings so I used a few greys and then built the colours from there - I especially like having used the Moss Green Eyepencil because it definitely gives an interesting colour combination^
Just one more post left for the challenge, and so far still undecided on what piece I will style!

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #18

Close to the end - going to round this challenge off at 20!
The piece for post #18 is the Glam 'R Us Gold Mean Necklace which is no longer in the Plaza so it'll have to be a Bazaar search for it, however Mawi does have some fairly similar, although slightly chunkier, pieces available =)
I really enjoyed putting these looks together, and found it really wasn't a difficult necklace to style! Had to include a classic all white look, it's not my favourite of the 3, but I think it works and I accessorised in matching gold with the VOILE Studio Box Clutch. My second and third looks are my more favoured ones. I love that I was able to use the Cute Cutout Romper from RIO and I think this is a really cute summer look - one of my favourites from this summer season I think! My final look dabbled in menswear again, using the Independence Shirt again, this time with these freebie blue trousers and a blazer (Killah). It definitely was a surprise that this pretty feminine necklace worked well with menswear, but hey, that's what experimenting is all about^

What do you guys think of the looks, and for the fun of it here's a poll for you to vote on your top choice:

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #10

Ten pieces in already - and the first pair of earrings today! These are the Amaryllis Earrings from Glam 'R Us and I think they're sellable in the Bazaar (my Bazaar is a mess, I don't think even it knows what it's doing), but I did a quick search and have discovered that the Bazaar jewellery search is shockingly bad, only have the brands are there and you can only search via brand or colour, not even type! Not feeling that Stardoll (hint hint!)^
So with earrings I decided to do something different because in the suite you often can't see the detail, so I've styled a look and a makeup look - which is another reason why I've ignored the complaints of only using necklaces so far because I don't wanna put out a half-hearted makeup look and as makeup is my weakest styling part, I waited so I could give myself some more practice and ideas!
With my clothing I went for an obvious white base to let the bright jewels stand out - and I finally got to use this Dior-inspired Hotbuys bag with its green accent pulling the earrings together with it.
My makeup is pretty much based on the tones of the earrings, I started with a green base from the eyeliner on the top lid, then did a dark red shade which I toned down with a light pink - for me this is pretty good, considering I'm not a makeup person at all! These pieces aren't all still available in Dot, however I've had a browse and there are very similar shades of all 3 items available =)

So what do you guys think of this for this type of jewellery in this challenge? Worth the wait to let me get used to the makeup more? Let me know in comments!

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #7

The 7th necklace of the challenge is the Leopard Gold Double Head Necklace from the old Glam 'R Us store - it seems like most of my jewellery is, but it's just because I've been around for quite some time!
This is one of the few necklaces that I know I have made an effort to wear in the past, I just don't know what I wore it with, haha! I found dresses went well with this piece very readily, but did limit how many I included. The only doubt I have with my looks is the middle one - it was worth a try with the white, but I just think it looks better with other colours, I also don't think pink was the right skirt choice, but again it was worth the try.
My favourite look is the first one. The necklace looks great with black and I haven't really over complicated the look too much, this Lace Wonder Blouse from Nelly is really creeping up my 'love' list =) The third look is a close second, again the dark colours seem to work much better than the light with this one!

Let me know what you think in the comments section!

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #6

Now onto part 6, featuring the Xoc Silver Necklace from Glam'R Us - it's not sellable itself, but it's gold counterpart is so you might be able to find it in the Bazaar.
So I was a little unsure whether to include this necklace or not because it is pretty small and delicate compared to the others and it's a bit more difficult to see, however I loved and thoroughly enjoyed styling it so went ahead! And it's dresses all round for this post, however there are so many tops which would work amazingly well with it too. Plus I feel like I got three separate feeling looks, they all have different vibes and don't have many similarities, which is a bonus in a post from me, haha! I loved wearing v-necks with the necklace because of the triangles on it, and I think that mindset has really worked for me, and it goes with colours as well as your traditional black and white! Plus I tried makeup - so many great things in this post =D
Anyway, I love wearing this pink dress because, well firstly I never wear it, and secondly because I never see anyone else wearing it, these LE heels are perfect with it, and I also wanted to give my Fendi clutch an airing. I don't think it fits entirely well, but hey, at least I'm attempting to get it in there^
Both the white and black dresses are great for the summer and this necklace - I think I've styled them fairly simply, but really gone for totally different styles which both work for the jewellery.

I think this must be one of my favourites of this challenge, but what do you think? Comment comment comment!

Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #2

Day #2 =) This is the Green Diamond Necklace from Glam 'R Us, a store which is no longer in the Plaza, and unfortunately this necklace isn't sellable for whatever, probably slightly annoying, reason! It's a good piece and I'm sure many want to get their hands on it!
I did have 7 or 8 outfits styled, however I didn't want it to be too overwhelming so picked 3 which hopefully show a variety? And again I seem to have gone with a theme, just black this time instead of white - honestly I don't do this on purpose! The necklace does look great with both colours though^
I love pairing it with the yellows in the first look, and yellow is a colour I should wear a little more often, so I think I'll be trying something like this again, and I think the necklace also goes well with the very casual sweater, but also the more formal style of the third look. With that third look I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone a little with those shorts, but I'm glad I gave them a go and would be willing to again!

What do you guys think? Please please let me know in the comments - there's 400 followers, just a handful of comments shouldn't be too much to ask for!
