Wear My Closet Challenge #120 I T ' S T H E E N D ! ! !

Wow wow wow - would you look at where we are ... the end! I can't quite believe we're 120 completely different looks and over 6 months later! And I haven't worn a single piece of clothing more than once - I think that must be some sort of record somewhere =D I also haven't worn pieces I've added to my closet during the time of the challenge, so pretty much I haven't worn anything that's been released since the start of the year(clothing wise, if you remember at the start I said accessories weren't included =))! Anyway, here is the last look of the challenge - later on this week I'll pop up a review post or something to showcase a couple of my favourite looks over the challenge!

Wear My Closet Challenge #99

I am still trying to get over the beauty of the Sephora lip colours, they're just so beautiful! I was in several Sephora stores last week when I was on holiday, and the amount of choice there was actually really stressed me out! I ended up getting a cute little palate with over 50 lip colours, blushes and eyeshadows!
So today's outfit, not sure I like it much, but hey, I'd have to wear these clothes at some point! I used to really like this LE jacket, but I'm not entirely sure anymore =/

Leather + White

Recently on Stardoll I've rediscovered a pair of leather looking leggings I had in storage, and I've kinda always been thinking about them when I've been stying outfits - you're probably not surprised to see I've enjoyed pairing them with white blouses:
In RL I would never wear leggings with a blouse or shirt like that, I'd be afraid of my bum looking fat or my undies showing through or something (haha), but I don't have to worry about that on SD, so I might as well live on the wild side a little^^
I like all 3 of these combinations, the first is with a detailed top, the second with a masculine styled shirt and the third with a sheer blouse - they all involve similar items but have a very different feel to them. I also think that finding a bag to go with any of these looks will be super simple, so it'll be easy to get something to go with whatever you choose!
Here are two looks that I've chosen out of many from Pinterest, I think they both work with the leather leggings and a white shirt really nicely and in two different ways:

63 Day Challenge: Day Twenty Five

Day Twenty Five Featured Item: Brown Matelasse Pants
Having only just decided to buy these, I decided it would be good to try and style them to ensure they were worth their 10 SD price tag =)
I am quite loving brown, so I decided to take a risk and pair with black - I do like it, but it's just a matter of personal opinion. Paired it with a simple long sleeved tee with a small leopard print to play off the brown in the pants, and ended with a gold belt. There were too many bags to choose from to work with the look, so I left it without one =)

63 Day Challenge: Day Thirteen

Day Thirteen Featured Item: White Tie Shirt
Chose one of the new pieces from the Pet-a-Porter store, it's a versatile piece which should be easy to style for everyone.
Just a quick and simple styling today as I'm rather busy studying. I chose to pair it with the beautiful emerald Chloe trousers and some basic accessories, but there are literally hundreds of ways this shirt can be styled. And it's incredibly cheap as well, so there should be no reason why you don't own it!!!

63 Day Challenge: Day Twelve

Day Twelve Featured Item: Open Black Cape
This is my favourite piece from the Pet-a-Porter collection - it just screams trendy every time I see it, and it is such a versatile piece, I know I'll wear it more than a few times this winter!
I tried to keep the outfit a little brighter with the floral trousers and silver shoes, but stuck with a black shirt for ease. I think it looks great, I really don't have much to say - I love it!!!

Wearing Pet-A-Porter

So with the release of this new Pet-A-Porter clothing line comes the typical post of those wearing the items - this was quite easy as a lot of people seem to like it!

She uses the White Tie Shirt(88 SC's) in a super elegant and classy style. I love the combination with the Chanel sparkly trousers, and the white accessories are a perfect touch!

M_Themis has styled the same shirt, but it looks so different here! It's still elegant, but in a different way. I love the pairing with the patterned leggings and the addition of the black accessories - very classy =)

He has chosen to style the Dark Patterned Cape(15 SD's), and I love the look! Black is the obvious choice really, and I think this looks like the perfect winter styling. I also really like the little splash of colour from the bag, the purple works very nicely with the rest of the look.

I love this colourful autumn styling with the Open Black Cape(11 SD's), I think it's a great mix of classic and current styles. I think the blue of the trousers is a great stand-out colour to use, and really helps to see the coat as not only a formal piece, but also a casual one - I just wish I could own one in RL!

Jelinna also styles the cape, but in such a different way. She's gone for a much more subdued colour scheme, choosing casual items, yet styling them together in a super-chic city street style way - I just love it! And the outfit is very her if you get what I mean =)

Yet another styling with the cape, but I just love this look sooo much! The silver skirt and blue top work amazingly with the cape, and they add a lightness to the look while sticking to black accessories. A very perfect styling =D

Pet-a-Porter: Clothes Horse

So just this week a new Pet-a-Porter clothing store was released to coincide with the release of the new collection of horses(not really my thing - who needs a Stardoll horse?!?!, but I'll carry on anyway). The clothes all very much have a horse-ish theme, and I think some of the items are pretty decent, so lets take a look!
Some of the items are inspired by real life designer versions, but personally I'm not a fan of many of them - I'm buying items because I like them, not for who they're designed by!
The collection as a whole isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, for me, I think I only like about 25% of the items, but at least it's something! I'm sure every item from the stores will be liked by at least one person out there somewhere!
I've been very minimal with my purchases from the store so far, but I'm really happy with everything I've bought. I like to think about things for a while before buying so that I know I won't be wasting my SD's.
There are quite a few more items that I'm considering, but I like looking at how others have styled them before I make a final decision - and these items aren't limited, it will still be there tomorrow if I want to buy it =D

I think the collection is good if you're looking for some solid winter basics/essentials, it might take time for you to whittle these out for your own style, but it's worth doing.

I'm not going to do a few styled outfits here as there are lots of featured outfits to come, and I plan on using the items I've bought for my 63 Day Challenge for today!
