We can all be IT GIRLS together

So so so - finally getting around to doing my styled outfits from the latest (it can't possibly be classed as latest, most recent I should probably say!) It Girls release! I really loved this collection, and you can check out my review by clicking right here =) [Awkward, it came out at the end of March and we're over a week into May now!] Oh, just a note, as this is a Styled Outfits post and not part of the Wear My Closet Challenge, I will be including other items that you may have seen me wear in the challenge - wanted to clarify because I'm sure someone would point it out!

So firstly, the Poppy Jeans, inspired by:

We also got the shoes, I won't be styling them today, but I'm looking forward to wearing them, anyway, here are the 4 looks that I've styled:

I found these super easy to style, not that I expected it to be hard though, they're great jeans! I wore heels with all of my looks, but flats would look good too, sandals would be great for a summery look, right now I'm thinking the flat Hotbuys sandals that came out recently (that I wore here). I love the more dressed up style of the top right look, I think they look great in a more fancy look rather than a regular casual (I'm not sure I can class heels as casual, but since that's all that you're gonna see on my doll, I guess casual it is!)

Now for the Frappe Tee, with a similar style to:

 I'm sure this whole look could easily be recreated on Stardoll, but here are my 3 outfits for the tee:

I've gone for a bit of a different set of looks, I think typically I'd pair these with jeans or white trousers, so I've managed to steer away from that. I love how the tee looks with skirts surprisingly, I think it's great! However it does work perfectly with trousers too and I love adding a little belt for an accessory with this one! 

Now dresses can't be styled too many different ways, so I've just gone for one look for the following pieces, I've also included the RL versions so you can check them out too =)

Met Gala 2014 - YH Release

So in the wake of the Met Gala last night, Stardoll have released a YH window as per usual after all the events these days - they chose 3 dresses from a huge range, here's just a glimpse at what the stars wore:

And here's the pieces that we got along with their actual versions:

So we got three dresses and a pair of shoes from this little window, with prices at 45 SD's for the shoes (a bargain if I do say so myself!) and from 115-140 SD's for the dresses, which I think is a pretty good deal considering how pricey the items from the last LE collection were! I think my favourite is the Georgia May Jagger one, the whole look is great and I think the dress could be worked into some fabulous concoction! The shoes are perfect, super versatile, I can tell I'll get a lot of wear from them [I foresee a styled outfits post with them!] =) I do love the cut of the Naomi Campbell dress though, I think it could be combined really nicely into something and be worn as a skirt, but we'll have to see =)
And the Liu Wen dress - it's another Lupita, that isn't going to be styled with something else! Now I just need the Stardoll event to wear it for!

Overall I'm happy with it, but a larger collection could have been great as I loved a lot of pieces from the night - and I want to thank Hilmy for buying the pieces for me, out of fear that I would miss them!

Oscars 2014 - Lupita and Jen

Had to post Lupita and Jennifers looks right away - I am quite literally obsessed with JLaw, and with the awards season, I have become very attached to Lupita and all of her amazing dresses, I mean she looks amazing in literally anything!

The stream I'm watching paused quite literally at the moment that Jen stepped out of the car and tripped on the cone, then my internet stopped working and I actually thought I might cry, there were tears in my eyes, it's ridiculous!

P.S. Hoping for inspired dresses to be released on SD tomorrow? I want both of these^ 

SAG Awards - J Law

So J Law wore the dark sequined Dior dress that I pointed out earlier this week - I absolutely love it on her! Would have posted last night, but I was still kinda working on some studying while watching the Red Carpet - woops! I watched most of the awards ceremony itself too, glad I sat and watched it, it was great, although for several of the television shows I hadn't heard of them before, so I was able to kinda tune out for those and keep an ear out for any names I recognised while I typed away and my references list =P

I think the dress looks a bit different, the colours less defined maybe? On the runway picture it seemed distinctly emerald and a deep red, almost burgundy, but actually on Jen it seems different, which will be down to the lighting - but who cares, I still love it on her!

Awards Season - Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

So the awards season has officially started and runs right through until the Oscars on March 2nd (nominations announced this week!) - we've just seen J Law go through the premieres and red carpets for Catching Fire and she's worn some stunning Dior pieces already[all from 2013 Fall Couture or 2014 Resort-images from style.com]:

These next pieces are things I'd like to see her wear for the coming events, I've selected them from the Couture collection:

^I adore both of these dresses, I'm such a sucker for sequins and those details are ahhhh-mazing! If it were me, I'd wear the pale one because I have ridiculously pale skin and I'm a brunette, the dark one would literally suck me in! But I think the dark might suit Jen better, it kinda reminds me of the beautiful (it's one of my all time faves) Dior dress she wore for the Toronto Film Festival at the Silver Linings Playbook premiere. 

^ I'm not so in love with either of these, but I kinda wanted to include them as they're more gown-y styled and there's always a couple on the red carpet. I love the shape and cut of the pink one, but I'm not such a big fan of the colour, which surprises me as I love pink! I really like the black one, but it reminds me a lot of the one she wore to the Italian premiere of Catching Fire - but I do think she would look sooo stunning in this with her hair slicked back like she had in the London premiere.

Jennifer Lawrence - DIOR

A new little collection of YH has just been released and I was hoping yesterday that one would be with Jennifer Lawrence's Dior dress, because I really wanted it! I snapped it up right away and had to post a little pic here with the one and only Jen herself - personally I prefer the plain white over the floral, but I'm really not too fussed. 

I'm not sure if I've proclaimed my love (and as my friends would say, obsession) of Jennifer Lawrence here yet, but I'm pretty sure you'll get a post(or 500...) about her here soon! Did I mention I pre-ordered Catching Fire on DVD like in November?!?!

I've never watched The City which really brought her to light in the industry, but I enjoy following her style and looks. She just knows how to put a look together, and how to dress for herself. I think I've posted about her before, but I'm not hesitant to do so again - on with the looks!

 I love her red locks and her fab looks, she can rock anything, be it designer or casual - I don't think everyone will know of her, but she has a great style to admire!

 Sorry for aaalll those photos, I couldn't cut it down anymore (somehow this is the 'revised' selection of pics!) - I love it. I love it all. It's like end of discussion, I need to be her now! Love love love the style so much, and also just how she wears her clothes, they look great and it makes me wanna wear things I wouldn't normally go for!
