Wear Dem Jewels Challenge #4

My #4 in this challenge, and it's the Teardrop Crystal and Pearl Necklace from Mawi, plus you can still get this for 5/6SD in the Plaza (I got mine for 3 so there must have been an offer on at the time I purchased it!)

I enjoyed styling this necklace, although I did find it a little tricky to go with a lot of the dresses I have, so the two trouser looks came to me first and I had to be a little more creative with the middle look pictured above. I am trying to keep the looks versatile between each necklace that I style so it doesn't remain too boring for you guys!

With the first look I definitely picked out the pink in the necklace for the trousers, and I did look at some different bags but nothing was working at all - maybe you guys have some good suggestions for it! And the third look I knew I wanted to use this lace blouse (from the recent VOILE sale), and so I came up with some white layering, and including the new Lace Bikini Top from Melbourne Minimalism so that gets me somewhere with styling that piece! I love these high waisted trousers, but I think I should have picked better shoes - these are the PPQ Pointed Mules but they looked better in my suite before I changed the pose in photoshop, whoops, my bad!

Wear My Closet Challenge - GET INVOLVED! = RESULTS!

So the contest closed today and we did have some good participation - I loved seeing what you guys came up with for my clothes! Before I say anymore I just wanted to add a little collage of things that I liked seeing in the entries - so you might spot your work there!

Also prizes going to work a bit differently as choosing just one top entry proved far too tricky - and I'm exhausted, didn't get in from uni until 8pm tonight! So prize will be discussed with the winners soon =) On with the results:

Wear My Closet Challenge - GET INVOLVED!

Bit of a different challenge for you this time - your challenge is to style my doll in 3 different outfits using my clothes. The catch? You can only use items from my closet! That does not include items in my sale room.

These are the items I haven't styled/planned a look for yet, so you have free reign over them - each item can only be used once, however accessories can be used more than once if you wish!And when I say closet it means items from here, the pull out closet at the side of my suite:

To enter, style the outfits, take some screenshots and post an imgur link, or even a blog post link if you've published it in your own blog right here in the comments, you must do so with the account you follow with and please also leave your Stardoll username so I can contact you if you win! 

So what do you win? Well if there's up to 25 entrants - one lucky individual will win a Guest Writer spot to post their own looks for 1 month! If there are more than 25 entrants, two lucky winners will win Guest Writer spots for 1 month - and hey, if it goes well it could lead to a longer spot =) 

I determined the prize from the results so far from the blog poll at the right there - a fair chunk of you want the opportunity to be Guest Writers, I am very picky with this, so I had to make the task fairly thorough to make sure I get the right person or people as writers for the blog, even if it is just for a short period!

Despite the fact that only 7 of you fulfilled the requirements of the competition, I decided that the contest is going to take place though. As I mentioned earlier, voting will last till Friday (28.03) and then I will announce the results and give away the prizes.

Contest #1 Transparent plastic

Hello everyone!

So here's my first outfit competiton which theme is the transparent plastic. If you want your outifit to qualify for the competition, your outfit have to consist of (at least) one piece of transparent plastic clothing or accessories. Read the rules, be creative and good luck everyone! :)

Prizes:

Winner: 50 sd

Distinction: 20 sd

Rules of participation:

• The contest will last till Sunday (23.03) until 16:00. If there's less than 10 enrolments that fulfill the rules of participation, the contest will be extended till Monday (24.03) till 16:00.
•  When I get all of your pictures, they will be published on the blog (which is why it is important to sign the picture of your doll with your stardoll nickname), then the readers will vote for their favorite outfit. Voting will last till 28.03 (16:00)
• A print screen of your doll must be made in full-screen mode (click "full screen" in the apartment)
• A picture of your doll must be signed 
• Everyone can send only one picture and it must be picture only of your doll
• Picture of your doll must be taken on a white background
• Links from imageshack, tinypick or another website you can send on my email sarahvip2014@gmail.com or put them in the comments section.  
• Your outfit must be created only for this contest (can not be submitted for other contests on this or any other blog). Breaking any of the rules may result in disqualification. 

Contest announcement

Hello everyone,

I am really pleased that so many of you responded to my survey. 100 % of you have expressed an intention to participate in competitions (Yay!). That's why I set myself to work and to prepare the first contest consisting in dressing up your dolls.

Theme, participation's rules and prizes you will know next Friday (21 March). The competition will last from the moment of sending your doll's pictures (at least 10 dolls that fulfil the requirements) for the next 2 days. If you want to be sure that the contest will take place, you can invite your friends to follow the blog and to partcipate in the competition!

Now, a small sneak peek. How do you think what will be the theme? :)

Christmas raffle - results!

So 40 people entered but unfortunately one was not a follower, so that makes 39 and the first 3 prizes are up for grabs!
