Sleeved

Another awesome all white style today, this time from gkmktk^ This is another great combination of pieces both making the colour and the pieces themselves super interesting. This dress, from Melbourne Minimalism looks like a pretty hard piece to style, which is why I didn't buy it, but it suits looks like this so well, particularly with the cropped trousers, they're a great match! The top have has some very cool sleeves and folded details added, and they totally work out in the dress's advantage! Accessorising very pretty too, love the lilac heels and the glamorous bag =D

Glitzy neutrals

I loved this glammed up neutral look from gkmktk for todays feature! I thought the combination of this stylish dress wth a chunky menswear sweater was just great and the two are a surprising match. The grey might be a little of an unusual choice of outerwear for beige, but I think the style works quite well. Accessories have been chosen super well, love these heels and the sunglasses, but the necklace stands out perfectly front and centre =)

Polka

A spotted style today from gkmktk with a polka dot bustier and skirt. I think the two surprise me and work nicely together, but it's all down to a good base! The black polo, underskirt and bow really give a good starting point to the style and it all took off from there =) The bow theme continues in both the hair and the bag, and the boots are super stand out and glittered - just fabulous^

Winter glamour

What a glittery and glamourous look from gkmktk! It feels like I've been seeing so much more of this giant glittered Sparkling Silver Clutch since I featured it in my Bag It Up Challenge, but I love this because I'm liking the clutch so much more now =) Anyway I really like this styling of it, especially with the matching silver details on the Embellished Collar Top and good colour matches from the fur, a great combination^ 

Silvers

All over silvers look for gkmktk, and I love it! I'm always a little hesitant to combine a lot together like this, but it does work in this scenario - it's also a little broken up with that fabulous Faux Fur Wrap and those standout red lips, a perfect choice in the beauty department^

Floating blues

There's definitely a hold of summer in this look from gkmktk in this post! Clinging to those light and airy fabrics with both the trousers and the long cardigan. The medium toned blue is a great eye-catcher for the look and it really draws you past the white, which is why I featured this look because that's what you really want to achieve! I love the addition of the white over-the-shoulder jacket which gives a slight hardness to the materials and pulls it into the season a little more. Overall great look^

M E L B O U R N E M I N I M A L I S M | Tribute Review

Today we were blessed with a fabulous new tribute store, which will hopefully be the start of a new Tribute season! I'm totally sold on the homepage advert which you can see above, it's right up my alley with all that white and a fab pink background - but onto the review =D

This tribute is so totally me! Like what more could I ask for, it's all white clothing! And a lot of the pieces have versatile ways to be worn, so really everyone will find something that fits for them. The clothes are much better than the shoes and accessories, which is an area I think which the store could have benefited with a little more work in. Although I do particularly love the Pure White Loafers - a pair of flat shoes I could see myself wearing for a few weeks straight, and we all know my opinion and love for heeled shoes!

With the clothing I tried everything on multiple times to see what did and didn't suit my doll, and there were things that just don't work out for me. And when I tried some things on, the pieces just didn't seem right, particularly the quality of some of the dresses and skirts - just not quite up to par with the rest of the store, and for the price I'd probably want a little more. I think more could have come from the trousers, the Pure White Trousers aren't too great when tried on (some dolls do work them well below) but on the other hand the Low Waisted Trousers are great, and not a bad price at 16/18SD's, I can't wait to style them!

Speaking of prices, the collection ranges from 11/12SD's for small accessories right up to 40/44SD for the more key clothing pieces of the collection. These are ok, seeing as most of the clothes are in the 20's range, but if you're on a budget you might need to buy wisely! I wasn't really thinking of prices, but when it came to what to buy, I bought 7 pieces for just under 130SD's which I don't think is all that bad. I look forward to showing some styled outfits later in the week =)
