A blast from the past with this Balenciaga Oversized Checked Coat - I keep meaning to style it again and when I saw Aguuniek wearing it, I had to grab the opportunity! I adore Aguuniek's outfit so much, never too much red in a styling^ The red bodysuit looks super sleek and completely doesn't take away from the coat, the checked pattern holds all the attention for sure. Then it's all about the accessories, this new LE bag looks fantastic, the red is spot on for the styling and the design along with the black details really pop, such a great pairing. Also love the delicate-ness of the pearl earrings, such a cute touch to the look. I've gone a little less all-out with the red additions to my look, but a few couldn't be helped^ I knew I wanted to use white, it was easy to pick out these flowy trousers which pair well with the oversized design of the coat. The bag also pops well being solid white against the checks - with the white this piece really is perfect for Spring. I kept some red with the top and these shiny shoes and I really think it works out nicely. I would have loved some red checked shoes to match, that would be adorable but in the meantime these are a good fit. Would love to see some more people trying out styling this piece too =D

The recent Velvet Orchid release looked a bit disappointing to me at first, but luckily I checked it out in the store anyway because I discovered the best piece - the Trench Coat, an oversized navy beauty with a light white trim ... what perfection! I picked it up and went to style it immediately, that's how great I thought it was! Then I also spotted this styling from Mery.- and it made the perfect opportunity for a paired styling post - Mery.- has opted for bold magenta and purple with the clothing which look great, they really pop in the negative space of the coat. The colours are all complementary together. I love the accessories too which follow the same colour scheme, the little glimpse of a lilac shoe is great, and I love the pinks added in the earrings and glasses, just super cute^ Also loving this bag, the small size is super cute against the oversizing of the trench style. For my look I also went with purple but chose a lilac base - so many colours look good with this piece, there are plenty of options! The white top and accessories keeps the Spring vibes of the lilac and I love the contrast of it against the navy of the trench. Love this little set of accessories I've chosen, this silver sheeny bag looks fabulous with the coat. I can't wait to style this piece again already!

For me the EPIPHANY jewellery store releases can be hit or miss, the past few I haven't picked up any pieces really, but our latest Spring-time release really caught my eye! What I love about these jewellery releases now is that you can choose to buy either a Suite or Beauty Parlor version of the pieces, you can pick what works best for you and I think that's great, it makes these items so much more accessible - I'm super glad because I definitely prefer Suite pieces. First up a feature from Brevis who styles the Statement Earrings, these sure do live up to their name! They're a huge pair of gold earrings, the size really helps to promote the standing out of the design, it's super clear which I love as sometimes this can get lost with detailed pieces. The outfit is all about the earrings, all of the pieces look great with them. The black and white clothing gives a solid base for the gold, but still looks super stylish, love the off-shoulder shirt and the leather piece added on top. Gold details are all over the accessories, I love this chunky belt buckle and I think the bag is the most adorable addition, such a cute piece that has never really had much focus, but look how fab it looks?! Love the look all round!
I have just picked up one piece in the store so far, but of course I'm now tempted by the above styling. I got the Pearl Flower Earrings, I just thought these looked something quite different and had such a pretty design and look on the doll. The red pops so well against this black hairstyling, I love that - and I even made a beauty look for this outfit too. It's by no means creative, but a red smokey eye with a touch of grey and green made for a cute choice I though^ For the outfit I tried out a few things, I really wanted to make green work well, but nothing was coming together well - my favourite burgundy trousers saved the day, these look fab in so many stylings and are great with these earrings too. Kept the look super simple, the white shirt was a great base to help the colours of the earrings pop =)

Selling sleek

I wasn't very impressed with the recent It Girls release, but I think Millaxx might be changing my mind with this styling of the Black Jumpsuit - how cool and sleek does this look! The jumpsuit layers so well, the white shirt underneath fits perfectly in terms of both actual fit on the doll and style paired with the jumpsuit, love the stiff collar and the pointed shoulders. I also have to point out that there are two shirts involved, those extra sleeve lengths come from a second shirt and it's awesome, it looks completely seamless^ Adore the accessories, these patent shoes are so fun and fit the style perfectly, plus I've already explained how much I love this bag - so glad to see someone else styling it up =D

M I N I M A L I S M / / #MYSUITESUNDAY

We've had quite a number of decor releases into the Plaza recently and my favourite my far was Minimalism - it's always been a firm favourite of mine in terms of decor stores for some great and easy pieces to style up in my suite, this release is no exception!
Now I didn't really want to do a full review as there's not that much to talk about - the release is a decent size with two floors and a range of styles to choose from with both furniture and decor items. I really love the neutral beige/wooden vibes the release has, it really feels fresh for the Spring season! I'm someone who likes a minimal design in my suite rooms as I use them to show off outfits more than my suite design skills, so neutral items work well for me. I also have a lot of my suite rooms designed already, and have a lot of pieces in storage, so whilst I think both the Lux Bed and Beige Corduroy Sofa look great, I don't have a need or use for them at the moment (but if I need a bed, I know where I'm headed to!). I also really quite like the Leather Lounge Chair and I think I will likely buy this one at some point, but at the moment I don't have an idea on where to put it - in the past there have been some relatively similarly designed pieces to this, so it's not really a new design to the Plaza. I did make excellent use of the new decor pieces though and re-styled one of my suite rooms just to show off these pieces. I already had this beige-based interior in a room, but it was quite minimally done and this was a good opportunity to freshen it up. I also relatively recently picked up the White Cloud Soffa (LE Decor) and found that it was a perfect centre piece to focus my decor items around. The Face Flower Pot is a beautiful fit with the tone, as is one of the colours on the Picture Frame Image - with this I really like the black frame and print as it works well with the black base of the sofa, a perfect fit in my eyes! I've also included the Green Glass Vase in this grouped design, I think it's a versatile piece and will look good in many suite designs and colours. I lastly picked up the Standing Mirror, this is a simple piece but one with a pleasing-to-the-eye design, it adds balance to the items in the room as I've placed it opposite the sofa set and I added a couple of pieces to the base. Now I just need to find the perfect rug for the room I think!

I hadn't really paid attention to the recent NELLY release because it was all menswear, but when I spotted this styling from Millaxx wearing the Beige Jacket I knew I had missed a great piece! I loved the simplicity in Millaxx's look, the jacket pops well against the black trousers yet is fitting with those little black buttons. It does have a relatively smart fit, so I really like it paired with a similarly smart white blouse - these neutral tones are all fabulous together^ The accessories are great, this giant Fendi tote really fits the style well and I love the yellow-toned glasses and golden earrings, super classic and pairs nicely with that little gold touch in the shirt, I love it! For my own styling I knew I wanted to also stick to the neutral theme - I tried on a lot of pieces in a range of tones but these silk trousers just looked too good to ignore, I love the beige tone against the camel of the jacket. I also made use of the black buttons in adding to my look with a plain top, bag and shoes - they may be simple pieces but I think they're pretty stylish touches. And finished off with these glasses, love these golden-toned frames against the jacket, that's a pairing I will repeat for sure =D
