Match Point

I don't know about you, but I'm getting some serious Wimbledon-tennis-whites vibes from this look. That said, I do not recommend attempting to play tennis in this skirt unless you are an exhibitionist.

The visual language of this look is all about graphic lines today - the risky split is drawing your eyes up, but the zipped up jacket is pulling your eyes back down, so even though there's a lot of leg going on, the look still feels balanced.

The rich green is an unusual choice for a pop of colour against the starkness of the rest of that outfit, but I think that's what adds a bit of class. I tried yellow, orange, blue, but they all seemed a little cheap. It's also a simple, but classic shape which works into this graphic narrative we've been building.

Finally, a watch is all that's required to accessorise, keeping the look clean, bold and un-fussy.
