L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 42-43

For the time being, this will be the final LE Revisited post - we've made it through to all of the pre-Covid LE releases and this post features both the 42nd (December 2019) and 43rd (February 2020) LE Collections! Both are pretty nice releases, and actually pretty large releases in comparison to some of the previous ones - but I don't have too many pieces from these to post separately, hence the combined post. LE42 comes with a more futuristic vibe starting with the space interior featured in the store. I was a big fan of the accessories in this one and have just a couple of clothing pieces - looking now there's actually a couple of items I'd like to look for to add to my collection, the LE Spiked Army Cross Body and the green paisley Oversized LE Belt Sweater in particular. LE43 has red carpet vibes, there's a lot of dressy pieces in this one, naturally I don't typically buy a lot of these pieces, but again the accessories were pretty nice in this release so I have some awesome shoes! Let's get into these last looks:
This first look features the Croc Inspired Handbag (42nd Collection) which is such a beautiful bag that I've worn a couple of times before, I love both the colour and the box-shape it has. I struggled to find inspiration for this one, but I did really like this nude dress against the peachy-toned colour. It's a little simple but I do think it works out. The little gold hardware pieces on the bag made for the perfect accessories, I love these earrings with the look a lot^ Next up is the Tucked In Feather Top (42nd Collection) - I have a lot of love for this piece, but it's one I struggle with every time I try to style it, it's got such cool vibes, I love the fit on the doll, the colour, the feathered trim - everything! But I always want to wear it with matched pink/orange tones and I don't have anything that's just perfect, however I am quite pleased with this outfit here. The silk texture to the top pairs well with these trousers, even though the colours aren't matching, I still think it looks good. The printing on the top has a lot of black to it, so I started with slim black accessories with the belt and shoes but decided to continue with black when I couldn't find the perfect bag, but actually I like how it looks and I don't think the black is too dark for the styling. I don't think I've seen anyone else style this top, I'd love to see how someone else tackles it!
Next up are the Purple Velvet Heels (43rd Collection) which completely don't get enough attention in my shoe collection! The design is very classic and sleek, I love the pointed toe and the heel height, and both the velvet and colour make them quite unique in my wardrobe. I love how I styled them in my review so I wanted to go in a completely different direction in this styling, and I really love this one too^ This top is a great one with it's mix of colour and I think the purple fits right on in with them. I kept the trousers light to really make the dark of the shoes pop, which is definitely achieved. I struggled a little adding more accessories, I'm happy with the belt and glasses but couldn't find the ideal bag - maybe someone has the perfect suggestion?! And then are perhaps one of my very few pairs of LE earrings, the Flower Loops (43rd Collection), which I think I've never worn before - a first time in this post! These were super fun to style and I had an idea immediately once I'd put them on, and had a lot of options for pieces in a similar style, so for sure I will be reaching for these again soon. The yellow colour works well against the brunette hairstyle, it really pops and I think the earrings really hold their own against the other yellow in the look. I split the colour with these white trousers, I love the look and I think it (unintentionally) pairs well with the first one here. I particularly love this bag with the earrings, the colours and styles of the two are so similar, they're adorable together. A perfect Spring styling =D
Onto the final looks, first up are the LE Wool Coat and Black Loosefit LE Boots (both 42nd Collection) which are both pieces I've worn quite a few times, they're definitely among my favourites of the more recent LE collections and are both very easy to wear pieces. I really liked these raw-hem jeans with the boots, the white of the denim really pops against the boots and white is a great base colour to work well with both grey and black. Accessorising was simple, in fact I think I've worn this bag with the coat before, but I love the vibe of it with that of the coat, I think they're great together and would wear again for sure =) And the final piece! The Orange Toe High Heels (42nd Collection) which are for sure one of the coolest pairs of shoes I have. I've worn these a couple of times, but this styling here is by far my favourite with them. I tried out a number of options with them because I love these with orange (and I have a lot of orange clothing items), but once I'd tried this skirt, I was sold - the colour is completely perfect with the brown base to the shoes! Black was the perfect choice to work with the tan, it's a combination I love using every now and again, this outfit makes me want to wear it more. This top is a fab one to add a lot of detail to a styling and I think it's perfect here. The black accessories are simple yet very fitting, I think they all work so nicely together to complement this outfit - I'm so pleased with this one, ending this little series (for now) on such a high!

S A I N T L A U R E N T A R C H I V E | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

In quick succession to the last Archive release, we have another - this time bringing us back pieces from the Saint Laurent Tribute Summer 2017 and Winter 2017 releases. This is a nice mix, I do prefer having one brand released at a time into one Archive release like this over having several mixed together like the last one, but that is just my personal preference. These were both collections I liked and there are some great pieces in this re-release that have lasted in my wardrobe and I style a lot - so there's some good investments to be made with this one! But first up, the features - this look is from Brevis who styles up the Heart Shaped Victorian Body in such a beautiful way, this styling is stunning, I can't get over it! The body is layered beneath a pretty lace white dress, the two are a perfect fit with all of those lace details, it looks like they were made for each other. The open neck and sleeveless-ness of the dress is perfect to highlight the beautiful details of the body. And it's been accessorised to perfection, simple yet stunning earrings, intricate shoes and such a cute bag styling to make this DIOR piece on a chain; I love it all so much =D
And our second feature is from HeraKowall who wears the Crystals Blouse in such a fun and eye-catching way! This was a piece I hadn't really thought about buying/styling before, but this look is kind of convincing me to try it out, it could be super fun. The navy is such a great pairing with the bold pink, the sparkles hold their own well against this suit, the suit and shirt being a classic winning combination, the colour making it super modern^ The yellow touches are also super fun and completely my thing, I love it =)
Now for my own looks! I have quite a few of these pieces already and love using them - for example the Oversized Coat and the Heart Silhouette Clutch, both of which I high recommend, so this time I'm styling up some of the other pieces. First up is the Lace Victorian Puff Blouse which is the only new piece I've added to my wardrobe from this release, this is such a delicate sweet piece and I'm excited to use it more. I decided to try out contrasting textures, the intricate lace of the blouse with these leather trousers and I think it's a nice pairing, I didn't tuck the top because the trim is super cute. The rest of the look is super simple, the white accessories are perfect to make sure it's the top highlighted rather than the trousers and it works nicely. Next up are both the Tuxedo Shoulder Bag and the Black Classic Belted Pants - these trousers have a silver belt buckle attached, which is one of the reasons I really don't wear them often because I prefer gold, but on this occasion I found the perfect top to hide that, actually this top is a great style fit for the trousers, I must remember that! Anyway, the top has a tiny gold detail at the neck so it makes for a nice addition to the gold in the accessories - I love this bag a lot, and for sure need to use it more often as I think it's reasonably versatile as well. The final styling uses the Saint Laurent Inspired Body, which I rarely use because it always gets a little forgotten stored as a jumpsuit and that's a category I don't style often - but it makes for a great top! Of course it calls for silver accents, these pieces were easy to pick out and I particularly love these shoes with the look, the style is perfect and the length of the trousers is just right to show off all of the design elements. For sure a classic look that I will repeat^

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 41

For the moment, this is the penultimate LE Revisited post! Today taking it back to the 41st LE release which came out in September 2019 and was a fantastic Summer into Autumn release. I love the mixed style vibes to this one, there's a little something for everyone here - which you can see in the 'Features' included in the review, everyone styled different pieces in such different and great ways^ We styled up the shoes together and then I styled the rest of the items I bought too - I still have everything today. I'm really happy with my choices from this collection and I don't think there's anything missing or that I'd want to add, so onto the looks:
First up are the Crystal Shoes which are definitely one of the most beautiful pairs of shoes I have - these are a pair I always think about styling but then say 'I'll save them for another time' either for when I have the perfect idea in mind or more time to put together a look that they deserve. At least I'm styling them now! The little red jewels in the design make for the perfect opportunity to include burgundy in the look, I've gone a little all out with that but I really love it^ The blazer felt like a good neutral colour and pairs quite well with the base colour of the shoes. I was so glad to stumble across this bag in my wardrobe, I'd completely forgotten about it but it was the perfect addition to this styling - as were these sparkly earrings, I love them here =) Next up, another pair of shoes, the Stiletto Shoes, which really are not stilettos at all, but never mind, they're still a cool style. These are also a pair I've only styled back when they came out, but I came up with this outfit super quickly and still have ideas so I think they'll for sure be featured in other looks soon. I decided to focus on the tan chunky heel and make use of this simple sweater, I love the colour and simple style so that the design of the shoes stands out. I love white with tan and so these trousers and the polo make a good base, and also pair well with the straps on the shoes. Of course I had to add a few black details, the belt and bag work perfectly to add that colour of the shoe to the rest of the styling. This is one I really love!
Next up some brights! First is the Dior Inspired Bag which is such a cute piece, the bright orange is fabulous and it's a colour I accessorise with quite regularly, so I have styled this piece a few times before. I knew I wanted a lot of orange in the look, these boots were the first choice, both the style and the tone of orange is perfect for the bag. The top balanced well against the boots at the bottom of the outfit, and to keep it a little neutral, the black culottes and jacket are a nice calming touch against the bold. The bag really pops well against the black - such a fun outfit! Then are both the Balenciaga Inspired Bag and the Satin Mules which I styled together because of the little hint of yellow on the shoes, I think they work pretty nicely together. I chose green for the trousers because of the shoes, I think I've paired these together before but I think it's a winning combination, and the green looks pretty good with the yellow. For tops I did try out pieces in all the colours from the shoes, but really yellow worked out best in the end - this one is great because it adds quite a bit of detail to a styling just in one item. Also love the little green earrings in this one, they pop well against the yellow but also tie in well with the trousers and shoes. For sure a super cute Spring styling!
And the final stylings, onto the clothing items now - first is the Horse Print Dress which I really like, I love a horse print and we totally don't have enough pieces with it. The dress is quite specific, the long length and large shoulders won't suit everyones taste and I do find it a little difficult to work with when wanting to layer, but resized and layered it still looks pretty good! This brown overcoat really brings out the brown-printed horses of the dress, super complementary pieces for each other. I used black in the rest of the styling to bring out that print, the polo and boots work well for that and I think I've achieved a good balance with this styling. And finally are the Satin Pink Trousers, such a cute piece and easy to wear too! I love both the pale colour and the straight-leg style they have. This is another styling that came together very quickly and another that is Spring-ready. Pink and white are classic together, the bow details on both the shirt and shoes are super cute and feminine. I love this bag in the styling, the pink colour is a perfect match for the trousers and the style works so well with the rest of the look - I'll be repeating this one for sure =D

3 BY 3 | Sequins

It's been a little while since one of these 3BY3 posts but with us in the midst of the festive party season I thought it was the perfect time to bring out these pieces - the theme is sequins! Sequins can be so fun in a look, but also can be tricky to style so I'm challenging myself today to style each of these in 3 ways - the Floral Sequin Jacket (still available in Windows On The World via the Plaza Catalogue), Dolce & Gabbana Inspired Glitter Coat (Inspired By Dolce&Gabbana)and the Sequin Midi (still available from Nelly). I have worn each of these pieces at least once, so lets see what I can come up with today!

F L O R A L S E Q U I N J A C K E T
This Floral Sequin Jacket is such a cute sequin piece for Spring with the light colours it has all over it, the mix is super cute and it's a lovely piece - it's just definitely one that falls into the 'tricky to style' category for me! I've really no idea why that is, but I also don't think I've seen anyone style this, so perhaps others feel the same. Once I got going and found a few pieces that I liked with the colour scheme and style of the jacket it wasn't too bad - whilst I do think that there will be other great ways to wear this piece, these are an alright start for me. In the first look I really loved these mint trousers with the jacket, the base colour is a great match for them and I think the styles are pretty nice together. It's pretty simple but I think it's an effective look. Next up I knew I wanted to use these sequin booties, to make them stand out I went simple with white between them and the jacket which I really like. I added more green to the styling with this cute top and the bag which I think both work well. I also love these sparkly earrings, they're a really nice accessory to use with this piece. And in the final styling of course I had to include the matching dress to the jacket, a perfect pairing^ I think this is my favourite outfit of the trio - I styled the dress more as a skirt and I really love it like that, the white shirt works well with it and introduced the colour to use in the accessories. These shoes are super cute and I love being able to use this shoulder bag, it's one of my favourite that I don't wear often enough anymore!

D O L C E & G A B B A N A I N S P I R E D G L I T T E R C O A T
This Dolce & Gabbana Inspired Glitter Coat for sure is one of the hardest pieces I own to style, I have tried so many times and either come up with the same look over and over again or just can't get away from pairing it with a couple of the same pieces - this set of looks took the longest to put together, and it really made me want to quit with this post, but I persevered! I'm glad I did though as the looks I've put together are completely different to what I've tried with this piece before. The looks are all bright and focus on colours in the sequins that aren't navy or the dark purple which takes over most of the coat. I really love these white trousers in the first look, they're a bright white but definitely have a blue/purple hue to them which I why I picked them over other pairs. The dark top helps the look not to be too bright, and accessorising was easy combining whites and purple, I love these shoes here especially, they really pop against the trousers. The second look also has some white pieces but includes lilac, such a beautiful colour pairing and I think the lilac is beautiful against this coat^ I like this silk skirt a lot with the heavy sequins of the coat, for sure this is a texture combination I would do again. The final look is maybe a bit wild, but there are indeed some yellow in the sequins on the coat, so I went all out! I love this look a lot^ The trousers are super fun and I loved that I had some perfect colour-matched pieces that worked well with the style of this look, love adding these boots and the bag and it's great to include these fabulous sunglasses =)

S E Q U I N M I D I
And the final piece, not outerwear, this time the Sequin Midi which I've had since it's release and perhaps styled once or twice - it deserves more limelight, how cool is a gold sequin midi skirt! I do think this was the easiest of the three pieces to style. First up is quite a classic black and gold styling, two colours which look great together so this outfit was easy to style. I kept the clothing simple black and added gold in the accessories, which are all great pieces^ Next up another classic with white, it's another combination that I really like to wear, but this is more a Summer style - this shirt is a great piece to style with gold with its own gold necktie detail. Super simple with the rest of the look, I love getting to use this cute little gold crossbody bag, it's been a staple in my gold bag collection for years! The final one was a bit of a wildcard styling, I love this white overcoat with the skirt so much, especially including these trainers in the look, they're a real winner in this set of pieces. I love being able to make use of the green gold chain shirt, and I do think it goes well with the skirt but I'm not sure it's perfect with the rest of the styling. I like the accessories here though, the necklace is great layered with this shirt and the little bag is pretty cute^

A R C H I V E | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

Our recent release into the Archive store brought us back some pieces from past Tributes, there's a mix of Prada, Valentino and Tom Ford pieces included, I for one am glad for the mix and it's not just a complete re-release of one of the stores. So I already have a number of pieces that are included in this release and I don't think there's anything there that I'm missing that I'd like, so I'll be styling up the original pieces after a couple of cool features first! Here we have HeraKowall styling the Balmain Inspired Embroidered Shirt Black and the Black Liquid Stockings which look pretty fabulous together and in this outfit as a whole^ I love the skirt added to these pieces, the different velvet texture added is very nice, and I the shirt works well with it and on a female doll too (this piece is designed for the male doll). I'm especially loving the gold accent details as added in the accessories, the belt and earrings are awesome, it really was them that pulled me into this sheer lace design of the shirt, and I think this combination would work well for a lot of different outfit ideas =)
And then we have Mery.- styling up the Quilted Crystal Bag in another chic look ready for the Winter^ The silver of the bag really stands out with the use of silver in the rest of the accessories, love these earrings, the slim-framed glasses and the shoes with it, and even the rings added on the opposite hand, it's a lovely balance. The black base of the clothing works really nicely, and the lined details on the top is a nice touch which also draws into the silver. The trench is a fun touch, and I think the beige tone works nicely with the outfit as a whole^
Next up my stylings, I don't have any of these particular clothing pieces (neon isn't so much my thing as I'm sure you know!), but I do have a number of the accessories that have come out in this release and so had quite a few pieces to choose from for these looks. First up are the Crystal Hoop Earrings and Quilted Crystal Bag (originally Tom Ford) which are such a nice pairing, they look good together and separately and I've worn each at least a few times before. I love the more muted tone the silver has, it's not too bright and I think that really helps make them easy pieces to style. I opted for navy with them and I think they're great with this dress, so stylish! I added some long sleeves to keep it Wintery but stuck with sandals rather than boots for footwear, the striped pattern to these works very nicely with the bag even though the silvers are different. I really like this one! Next up is the Valentino Tribute Tote, which you can also get the matching Red Rockstud Pumps with (originally Valentino) - I would love to style these together, but the bag has silver studs and the shoes have gold, I just can't get my head around working with that! So I opted to focus on the bag because I've had it since the original release (2013!) and I know I can count on one hand how many times I've included it in a styling - which is ridiculous. I'm not entirely happy with this look in the end, it covers too much of the bag which is completely my own fault for adding this coat, but I loved that it had silver buttons to tie in with the studs on the bag. I also used silver in the trousers, these I really liked with the bag before the coat, but again the coat covers a bit much of them - so lesson learned, don't always wear a coat! The colour of the bag is a pink-red tone, and I have no other accessories to match this, these shoes aren't perfect however I love the silver jewel detail on the front with the silver on the bag, so I can overlook the colour mis-match this time. This needs some work, but I think the bag has more potential than I was giving it a chance at! And the final outfit, pairing the Prada Inspired Bags and Flame Patent Leather Wedge Sandals Pink (originally Prada) - these shoes also come in Orange which I have too and actually this outfit worked equally with either pair of shoes, I just opted for the pink because I think I've never styled these before (also shocking!). I did find it quite tricky looking for other pink pieces to match the shoes, the colour is very specific and I don't have a lot of it, but thankfully I have this coat and I think it's fabulous and makes for a fabulous outfit^ I kept the clothing underneath plain black to let the colours shine and it works well. The coat bring a lot of different colours but there is mostly pink in there and it's not too close to the shoes to notice a colour-clash. I also added the bag to this styling, I've worn it before with this coat so I knew it was a combination that would work - and I love it =D

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 40

Now heading back to the 40th LE collection - this was released back in July 2019 and was the perfect Summer release. I still love the vibes of this one, I can't get enough of it and it's definitely one of my favourites of the more recent LE releases. Myself and the Guest Writers put together a great set of stylings for this releases, it's a set I love so much! I have quite a number of pieces from this relatively small release, and actually there's a couple of things I'd love to pick up in the Bazaar to try out for the next Summer season. But onto what I do have:
Now I did want this set of looks to be Winter-appropriate, but some Summer styles have slipped in. I'm kinda glad they did though as I really like these first two outfits. First up are the Strappy Sandals which are such a pretty pair of Summer shoes, I love the delicate straps paired with the chunkier heel, and the light colour makes them very versatile. The heel has a green tone so I picked this up for the clothing, I really thought this blazer was a good fit for that, I'm quite pleased to get a wear from it^ For Summer I kept it light with these pale green trousers and white shirt, super simple but something different for me. Simple accessories too but fitting with the look, I love adding these shiny earrings, they're pretty perfect with the blazer I think. So pleased with this outfit! Next up are the Pink Blazer and Two Belt - I've worn this belt quite a lot since getting it, it's a pretty great one to have in my collection. The blazer not so much, I have styled it up maybe once or twice but not regularly at all. I looked online for some inspiration with pink blazers and found a great option, I just didn't have any similar pieces to recreate the styling, haha, so I improvised and think I've done an ok job. I really like these white shorts with the blazer, the style of the two fit well together and I like the length of the shorts below the hem of the blazer. I kept the top simple to fit in with the shorts, and matched the shoes to them - I spent a long time on both the shoes and the bags as I had quite a few options, in the end I think these pieces worked best together with the clothing I'd already picked. With the black print on the bag it was perfect to add the belt into this styling too long with black sunglasses. I'm so happy with how this outfit has worked out, totally not my regular style but I'm so glad I tried it out!
Now into the more seasonally appropriate outfits that I was imagining! Here are the Checked Trousers which are such a cute pair of trousers, I really like these but totally don't give them as much attention as they deserve. I did find quite a few items that looked good with the trousers but then struggled to make a complete look with it, I love brown boots with these but then none of my tops or coats worked out well with the rest of the look - so I've gone down an all-white styling route and I think it works nicely and the trousers are highlighted well^ I like trying out the oversized trend with the clothing, and I like it on my doll in this look, the pieces work together well. The accessories were simple to choose, love the tiny gold details in the bag and with the earrings. This is something totally wearable, I'll for sure be reaching for this combination again =D Then is the Pelle Shirt which was a well-worn item in my wardrobe for quite some time, I haven't worn it so much in the last year or so. Without thinking about pairing it with this other brown and white look, I thought brown would be a nice choice for this piece, these trousers are a great style fit for the shirt. The coat does cover it quite a bit, but it really helps to make the styling, so I had to leave it in there! Accessorising with white helps the shirt pop, I loved choosing this different white bag for a change, I think it works well with this outfit.
And onto the final two looks - first is the Yellow Shirt Mini which I attempted to work into a Wintery styling, I think it's reasonably successful but it definitely will look better in other outfits. I think the black and light tan colourings look fab together, and I love this thick belt to cinch the waist - thus other black accessories were easy to add, I love this bag here, it's got those little touches of gold too and I think the style is such a cute and current one. I don't think this look will be for everyone, but I think it works well for me =) And the final piece, the Hat Bag, which I've only ever styled back when it first came out and I've been tempted to sell it in my Bazaar numerous times - right now I'm glad I didn't go through with selling because I love this outfit! I knew I wanted to style a skirt with this bag and I tried quite a few that looked very good before settling on this one, I love the pleating and the colour, I think it works well for the bag. The boots were also an easy choice, I love adding that patent shine to the outfit! I did struggle a bit choosing a top/coat for the look, nothing was working out quite right so I've opted for super simple and classically me with this beige poloneck - it works, and also is a good base for adding a necklace, but I think there is definitely a better piece out there that could be added to this look.

I N S P I R E D B Y B A L E N C I A G A | Tribute Review

Time for Tribute number 2 of this season - Inspired By Balenciaga! Balenciaga has become a well-loved brand to have in the Tribute releases and it's always one I pick up a few great pieces from, so I'm pleased to have this again this season. I've not really kept up with the various collections from any brand this past year, so I have no expectations at all, lets see what Balenciaga has in store for us:
The release is a pretty typical size for Tributes these days, there are 2 floors with a total of 10 looks - 2 of which are for male dolls, and a couple of the pieces comes as both male and female versions which I love the option of. As usual starting out with the accessories there are 4 pairs of shoes on offer. I've just picked up one pair, the Balenciaga Inspired Black Boots as I think these look amazing, love the buckle around the ankle and I also love the matte black colour they have, it's something a bit different to my other boots. There are also the Balenciaga Inspired Trouser Boots which I can see being hugely popular, this is a style that's easy to wear and one that a lot of people like already - it's not so much my thing, but I do see the appeal, and I like both the leather-look to them plus the pointed toe. The Balenciaga Inspired Gold Pumps also stand out well in the store, however for me I have a lot of gold shoes already and these don't quite match up to some of the pairs that I have. There is just one bag in the store, which is a little disappointing as I like choice there, but I do really like the Balenciaga Inspired Blue Bag, the old blue is fabulous and I like the design in a silver/grey tone, it's a combination we've not had before so it stands out. I didn't realise the design details were a shoe until I looked at the real version of this piece, it's quite quirky really! More disappointingly there are no jewellery pieces in this release, the last item in this category are the Balenciaga Inspired Blue Sunglasses. These do stand out in the store, the colour definitely catches your eye, I'm not such a fan of the style, it's just not so much my thing, but I have seen a couple of dolls wearing these very nicely.
Now the clothing, which initially I thought was quite abundant in this release, but actually there aren't that many pieces due to repeats across the floors and the trouser-boots being used as well. I do think the pieces all fit together quite well as a collection though, which is sometimes missing in releases, so I do like that about it. To me the main focus is on outerwear pieces, with 4 items to choose from. First up I have to mention the Balenciaga Inspired Trench which comes made for both male and female dolls which is perfect, we can all enjoy this beautiful piece! I know I'm lacking a good trench coat in my wardrobe, so this is perfect for me - I love the neutral classic colour to this piece, and also the traditional design but with a twist with the off-the-shoulder element, it's fun and will let you show off a pretty top beneath it. There is also the Balenciaga Inspired Oversized Blazer which I think is the most popular of the outerwear pieces, I've seen soooo many dolls wearing this. I really love that it's in navy, and the oversized design is done in a way that's new to us, we don't have anything too similar to this at all. I'm also quite a fan of the Balenciaga Inspired Suede Coat, it doesn't seem as popular but I think it's stunning, adore the suede fabric, the colour is gorgeous and the design is a winner - it will look great on anyone^ What I also really liked in the clothing was the Balenciaga Inspired Shirt Skirt, I quite like the pinstripe design on a bright blue, I think it will be very nice for Spring/Summer stylings and I think it will be quite fun. And the final piece to mention are the Balenciaga Inspired Jeans, and I know I don't wear jeans often or like styling them all that much, this is a pair I can work with! The fit of them is great on the doll, it's really perfect for my preference, the length is great and they sit very nicely on the waist. I love the printing of the font all over, and the overall wash of the jeans is great, a real classic. I can see myself styling them up already!

I found it tricky narrowing this release down to just 3 pieces, I could have easily gone with 5! I picked the pieces which caught my eye first in the release and that I found easy to style, I think these are the pieces which will last best in my wardrobe =)

F E A T U R E S
First up for the features is Andre1396 styling up the Balenciaga Inspired Oversized Blazer which is by far the most popular piece of the release - I thought this was a fab way to wear it where it wasn't styled just like on the store mannequin as I've seen a lot of that. The colour is almost a perfect match for these trousers, and the style of the two pieces is a great fit, totally love them together! I also love that the blue is continued in the shoes, the little pop of patent bold blue is great there, and then the orange as an accent colour is such a fun idea. The headscarf and bag make for great finishing touched to the styling^
Our second feature is from Fergaysson who styles up the Balenciaga Inspired Blue Bag in such a cool Winter styling, I love the vibrancy and colour mix of this styling! The bag really pops nicely against the green, I think the two colours work perfectly together to draw attention, and the blue being otherwise minimal in the styling makes the bag and it's design really stand out. The shoes add a little touch of blue nicely, as do the earrings, while the green makes a good base - these trousers are super cool and I think the print works well with the piece. I really love it =)
Now we have harpie who has opted for the Balenciaga Inspired Suede Coat and I love it so much! It's such a creative way to wear a long coat, the piece for sure is great on it's own, but this idea takes it to the next level^ The suede really stands out as a texture in the look, and the self-made skirt from some tops is great, the colours are beautiful paired with the brown of the coat, so much love for this pairing. The accessories are simple but fitting, love the classic black heels and belt, and the yellow heel of the shoe looks great with the bag and also the hints of yellow in the floral pattern. Such a beautiful styling =D
Next up is Tangera wearing the Balenciaga Inspired Trench W in a chic neutral outfit^ This looks so cosy, I'd love to wear this myself for sure! The white colours make a great base for the trench to stand out against, and I love the use of the scarf layered on top, the tied design is perfect for the off the shoulder design to stand out. I also love the boots matching to the trench colour, makes for perfect balance. The handbag is such a classic piece, it's really perfect in both colour and design for this outfit, so great!
And the final feature is from ayselevi, styling a number of pieces, the Balenciaga Inspired Turtleneck Sweater, Balenciaga Inspired Trench W, Balenciaga Inspired Jeans and the Balenciaga Inspired Trouser Boots - so many pieces but all working together so nicely for this casual street styling. The trench has been creatively shrunk to make it into a shorter jacket and that works very well, it leaves plenty of space for the jean design to be shown off. The polo and boots make for a solid black base which is nicely paired with the leather jacket - the trench in there adds a great lighter colour to the styling to break it up, I really like that. And the jewellery is a nice addition, the big earrings work particularly well^

And finally for my own stylings - I bought quite a few pieces from this release so haven't styled them all here, there will be another post on the way soon styling up the rest of my purchases! First up are the Balenciaga Inspired Black Boots which I really loved styling. I knew I wanted to go for a length above the buckle so that detail could still be shown, and I think I found a perfect solution - for sure there will be many! I love this combination of colours for a chic Winter styling, and the gold buckles on the boots were perfect to add in gold details in all the accessories, I really love this styling a lot =D Next are the Balenciaga Inspired Shirt Skirt and the Balenciaga Inspired Blue Bag which I think make a pretty cute pairing. This is for sure more a Spring/Summer look, I struggled a bit to get the skirt in a more Winter styling, so I think I will revisit in a couple of months^ I really loved styling the bag though, that was a lot of fun and I adore it with these silver shoes, the two accessories are perfectly complementary of each other. And the final styling, wearing the Balenciaga Inspired Jeans, this is another look which came together very quickly, and going with all white for the rest of the pieces really makes the denim pop! The pale colour for the printing really works well with the white I think. Accessorising was very easy with this one, and this is a look I would repeat again in an instant =)

G I F T - O - M E T E R | Styled Outfits

A tradition for the Winter-season - it's a Holiday Gift-O-Meter! For me I was a little disappointed this year, I like clothing G-O-M's and this one had too many decor pieces, and it was pricey, reaching some of the larger spend-points and you would get one decor piece. So not the best, and really I only managed to fill it with the more special releases and the start of the Tribute season. Anyway, I have all of the pieces on offer and there's still time for you to finish filling the meter if you want to - onto the looks:
First up the GOM Red Oversized Sweater (120SD spend), which I think might be my favourite piece from this Gift-O-Meter, or certainly the one I found easiest to style. The bold red is great and paired perfectly with these shoes. I liked keeping that the only red in the look as it really makes it stand out. I decided on white for the rest of the pieces, which makes the red pop even more. Love the smart pleats of this pair of trousers and picked some simple accessories to complete the look. Next up are the GOM Belt Boots (180SD spend) which I liked as something different for me so I wanted to make sure I tried them out. I thought this dress was a good fit for the boots, they have a similar vibe to them. I've worked it into a Winter-ready look with the tights and a polo-neck which I really like for the styling. Accessories are silver based to pair with the boots, I really love this bag with them in particular^ And the final piece, the GOM Lace Top (270SD spend), which I found quite difficult to style. The white lace is super pretty, but has a yellow tone based on my dolls skin tone, so I found that a completely white look didn't work well. So that left me with red, while I really like this skirt in the look, I didn't have a lot of choice that looked good. The white tights and shoes are a nice touch to make the skirt wearable in the Winter. I really like layering up this jacket and the furry stole, I think they're very nice together and work well with the look. I'm not sure this is a top I will keep or style again, but I'm glad to have tried it out this once.

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 39

We're getting pretty close to the present day LE collections in this LE Revisited series - looking back to the 39th collection in this post which came out in April 2019. This release was quite small with 2 floors and under 10 looks on offer - but myself and the Guest Writers bought a number of pieces and loved styling them up at the time of release. This isn't one of my favourite LE releases but it is one of the strongest for accessories and I still have a lot of these from the release - let's get onto the stylings:
First up is the one piece of clothing I have from the release, the Jaquemus Inspired Yellow Dress which is such a pretty piece and a memorable one - I think about this all the time in the Summer months! I tried to be a little more thoughtful with it as with dresses I often just throw them on and accessorise, so I've styled it more as a skirt and worn it with a cute camisole and a blazer - I really like it^ Accessories were simple to choose, the white pieces stand out against the colour nicely. I'll repeat this in the Summer for sure! Next up are the only shoes I have from the release, the High Heels Crystal which are definitely one of my favourite LE pairs - I used to style them quite regularly, but haven't styled them in several months now, these are great for the festive party season! I always like to choose a cropped length of skirt/dress/trousers to pair with these so that their full design gets shown off. This time I mainly picked the blazer to style with them, it has small silver and glittery touches which work well with the shoes. Simple black for the rest of the look lets the shoes take the spotlight, helped along with some silver accessories =)
Now onto the several bags I have from the release, first is the Small Clutch Bag which is super cute and in a classic design. It's easy to style, and I love both the gold hardware and the white writing detail on it. I have a lot of black and white clothing pieces so it's easy to make a lot of combinations that will work with this piece, this time I've gone for something a little dressy - and I'm so pleased with these trousers and the top together! The two have a great style-fit for each other and I think are perfect with the bag^ Finished off with a few fitting accessories, I love this one =D Next up is the Jaquemus Inspired Belt Bag also in black - this is one I haven't worn very much and I think that's because it's listed as a belt in the wardrobe rather than a bag so it gets a little forgotten. However I did love styling it for this post, so I must remember it more often! It has a tiny gold detail on the front which I wanted to pair with some gold, I thought this skirt was a great choice for the season. I picked a black base for the top and boots, the bag has a slightly different tone so I think it still stands out against the other black pieces. Loved choosing these new earrings for the look too, I think the chunky design is great with the bag!
And the final looks, starting off with the Crossbody Bag Blue which I think might be my favourite of the bags, I've sure worn it quite a few times. The style is close to the Small Clutch Bag however this is strapped onto the body and is in a slightly smaller size - the gold and white details are the same on the two however. Love the blue colour so much, it's something I find quite easy to wear and for this styling I knew I wanted to try it with these fabulous new Off White boots, I love the pairing so much =D I stuck with blue in the accessories and finished that off with some sunglasses, then made a base of white for the clothing, perfect to highlight the text on the bag. This is a look I'd totally wear in RL^ And the final piece, the Jaquemus Inspired Red Bag which is such a cute one, I love the tiny size to this one, and you can still see all the detail despite the small size. Red is another of my favourite colours to style, so this was super easy to put together. I'm so glad I got to pull out this skirt this festive season, it's a winner and looks awesome with the bag, the red tones are spot on for each other and the gold highlights that tiny detail on the bag. The red top cements red as the key colour of the look while the gold accessories are quite delicate additions that work well with both the bag and skirt, I love this one^
