I'm actually not really one for making resolutions at all, but this year I want to keep up with this colourful turn that my fashion life seems to have taken. It's very liberating leaving all those neutrals behind for a while and let out your inner child.
Looking back over my last year of looks, I seem to shy away from blue the most, which is crazy because I love every shade of blue! Thanks to the recent Dior release, I've no need to worry about how to choose...
Yes, I suppose denim is cheating a bit, but just look at this shade! It's so deep and interesting compared to the light blue mom jeans and the bleached out boyfriend cut that have dominated last year.
There's nothing I love more than a twist on a classic and this wide-leg-denim-70s-realness-dream ticks every box. It has a rumpled quality for when you don't want to look too executive, but the structured jeans and shoulder-robed effect bring a sophistication to the crayon colour palette I've chosen.
Do any of you have fashion new years resolutions for 2018? I'd love to hear them in the comments!

I think I should work with colours in my outfits. I always end up with black, white and neutrals. And I think I need to be more creative.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your outfits are always on point and this is no exception! Perfect choice of background too.
