Our second year of winter tributes was the Winter of 2013 with another drop of great designers! There were 3 stores this season, Chanel, Valentino and Saint Laurent - so a good mix of styles from the diverse designers. This was only the second year of winter Tributes, so a little un-developed as such and compared with the more recent winter Tributes, but still good releases none the less^ I do think these releases were a little less memorable, they're not ones I reach for a lot, but hopefully this post might remind you of some great pieces - some I've been wearing a lot!

First up - Chanel, as typical for those days, which I liked having =) For me not one of the best collections. There are a lot of nice individual clothing items, like tops, but they're not ones I remember about, and the styling of a lot of the tweed or stand-out pieces in the release makes them a little less wearable. Accessories however are another story - there were awesome pieces in this collection, and a few bags that I've loved having and styling over the years, which is awesome value for money^
And a quick feature, showing others still wear the pieces too, SrebrnaMuza styling the Chanel Box Handbag in this pink based styling - it's the perfect accessory for the look^ It pairs well with the trousers and I like the classic use of the shoes with this, then the modern pairing of the perspex jacket =)

And secondly the Valentino release, which I think has been our one and only of this kind (correct me if I'm wrong^)! I'm all for an update of Valentino! This collection was a mix of RL releases, and so it didn't have quite the right flow, but did have some good individual pieces, which again were mostly from the accessories section. Quite a number of items from this release have come out again in Callie's Picks, so many of you probably have a few of these items from there =) The two pairs of shoes I wear in this post are definitely long-lasting in my wardrobe and are great to pull out from time to time, I get pretty decent use of them^
