I N S P I R E D B Y H E R M E S | Tribute Review

Our next Tribute is here, and I was surprised to see a brand new brand for the Tribute collection - it's Hermes! Really coming out with a strong brand and honestly this advertising makes me so excited, love these neutral and very wearable colours, plus the neutral background is perfect for showing off the details in the designs, let's get into the release:
This release has the standard 3 floors, with a total of 16 looks to choose from and several pieces also available for male dolls. Now I don't really keep up with the brand in RL, so hearing the name, I don't think of anything besides the famous bag design, so I'm coming into this with a super open mind - but first impressions are great!
Accessories: I have to say when I first opened the store, my eyes were immediately drawn to the accessories! Loved the variety of colours and styles that I could immediately see. There are 7 pairs of shoes to choose from, with a mix of boots and sandals. I really love the idea of the Jumping Boots which come in Black, Olive and Burgundy, but for me I would just prefer them with a little bit of a higher heel, I don't love the look of a flat height boot on my doll - but perhaps my mind will be changed if I see some stylings of them. The Nuba Sandals also come in both Black and White, I really like the white ones as these have a black base, a white foot strap then brown ankle straps and I think the combination really stands out, love this classic look. There are 8 bags in the collection, which does include the Hermes Trolley suitcase, in case that's something you need! I adore the design of the Brown and Olive Leather Arcon Bags, the bucket style is a classic one and I like the handheld design of it which really emulates how it would be carried in RL. The gold details on these are great and I think the colour choices are also fantastic, I couldn't resist and bought both! The Wrapped Leather Toile Birkin is a fun way to style the traditional Birkin design, I think this is a good idea to bring a classic style to a trend, and these browns and nude tones are fantastic both together and for this Summer season. There are quite a few other accessories included in the release, I'm a huge fan of the belts - and we got belts as the free gift with this release too. Love the Burgundy Leather Buckle Belt, beautiful colour and the buckle detail is fantastic, this has a really nice thickness and size on the doll as well. The Foulard Brown Leather Belt is also a cute option, the scarf is a sweet addition. The Brown Embossed Leather Belt is also a nice piece, plus it's in SC's - I like the light tan of the leather and it has very nice subtle details to it. And there are some jewellery pieces as well, and you have to go and have a closer zoomed in look at these, because the details are amazing - I really like the look of the Green Patterned Foulard Necklace, just a real stand out piece for the Plaza right now.
Clothing: the floors of the store are definitely divided by style and colour vibes, which for me really works nicely and gives a cohesive feel to it. The first floor is earthy neutral tones and I love all this light brown we're getting for the Summer season. The Brown Cargo Zipped Mesh Dress (even though it's clearly a jumpsuit!) definitely caught my eye first, super sleek, beautiful neutral colour for styling and an amazing fit on the doll. I think we've not had a lot of similar pieces, I love the snug fit on the doll, the high neckline and the short sleeves, it ticks a lot of boxes and apparently is the piece I didn't know I needed! The Green Leather Belted Shorts also caught my attention, you can get the matching Green Leather Layered Top to go with these, but I think both pieces will also be great on their own. I thought the shorts were a skirt at first, but I think they work as either and I think the colour will be a super fun one to work with, and will be great year-round, they do look fab with the boots for an Autumn/Winter look! The Suede Tassel Equestrian Jacket also caught my attention, love the cropped boxy fit with the wide collar and the neat design, plus the colours are very nice - for sure I don't think it will be the easiest to style or to everyone's tastes, but something about it really pulled me in. There are also some more minimal pieces with great versatility to them on this floor, the Leather Bandeau Halter Top, Knit Bra Top Black and Black Chiffon Maxi Skirt will work well for so many different styles and outfits. The second floor is a little mixed with classic black and white with reds/pinks/burgundies - for me a great mixture! I immediately went to the Perforated Geometric Bodysuit and Paperbag Perforated Leather Shorts combo because I'm a big burgundy fan and these look fantastic, both look like they will be good separate as well and I think will be great Autumnal pieces. Also in burgundy, the Knit Bra Top Burgundy and Burgundy Buttoned Ribbed Skirt is a cute set, for me I'd probably prefer the skirt alone, but love the colour, love the current fit to the minimal items. For a complete colour contrast, I also adore the High Waisted White Structured Shorts, these look great on the doll and in white will be so versatile to style, I'm so excited about wearing these already! And the White Straight Leg Pants fit that category too, a really nice pair of trousers, minimal and versatile. And some prints on this floor too, the Leather String Patterned Top and Skirt are a very cute set, bright and fun and I think could make some very nice stylings. The Equestrian Print Silk Shirt also looks great, I love the print and the colours, the only thing I'm a little unsure about is the fit on the doll, I'm not completely sold on how versatile that will be to style, but I'm still thinking about this piece! The third floor brings darks and nudes, and I do really like the overall feel of this one, but for me less pieces here to actually buy. The White Cargo Zipped Mesh Jumpsuit is a nice option, identical to the Brown one, I just ended up choosing that over this one as I preferred the colour on my doll, but this is very nice too. It fits well with the colouring of the Knit Bra Top Nude and Leather Cutout Sheer Skirt, I think these are nice basics, but just not so much for my doll.

First up, hopesolobeauty wearing the Green Leather Belted Shorts and Wrapped Leather Toile Birkin which look great together. I was really drawn in by the pairing of these shorts and the shoes, what a perfect combination, the colours are exactly right for each other and I think the orange touch is very nice and is balanced with the earrings. The purple vintage-zig-zag polo is a fun touch, and the yellow colouring in there is very complementary to the shorts, a real fun one!
Next sarah_1980 is up, of course in usual fashion, wearing only the release - the Eurydice Earrings, White Patterned Shirt, Grey Zipped Vest, Green Leather Belted Shorts and Burgundy Jumping Boots, along with the top up gift, the Hermes Cavalcadour Sellier Kelly. While this look also uses the same shorts as in the above, they have a very different feel, I love the highlighting of their versatility. I am also loving the pairing of this shirt and vest, this is a super fun idea and works well with the print pattern on the shirt =)
Then we have Riviere styling up some accessories, the Purple Patterened Foulard Necklace and Foulard Brown Leather Belt which look perfect in this outfit, I'm adoring the pink and brown combo! The belt stands out well on the pink shirt, and the twist of the shirt at the waist is perfect for the belt - plus the scarf pops very nicely. Love these pink jewellery choices too, overall the beauty look here stands out beautifully^
Next is Harpie who wears the Jumpsuit Trousers and the Lassoie Hermes Bag which are a surprisingly good fit together. The bag has a subtle blue touch which really pops when paired with the trousers. The other blues added are nice and I like the contrast amongst them, it pulls your eye in to all of the individual details that the pieces have. Adore the neck scarf added to accessorise here!
And last but not least, Sebboy1979 styling up the Leather String Patterned Skirt and I'm absolutely here for the red and blue pairing! Super trendy and sleek, the colour of print on the skirt is perfect with this red shirt - the blue floral detail on there was a fab touch to add to with the accessories, perfectly chosen^ As a burgundy fan I like the inclusion of this coat, I think it really makes the light tones of the skirt pop well, love it =D
