Because it's a hounds-tooth skirt.....get it? I'm not even sorry.
I really don't know where this Bonnie and Clyde sort of look came from...aside from the eternal struggle of getting some serious girl gang vibes from this Bonjour Bizou jacket, but really wanting to use this skirt. Confusion isn't always the best foundation on which to build and outfit, but I like the play of the slouchier elements of the look with the smart skirt and shoes.
The real question of this look is 'will I ever take these earrings off?' to which the answer is 'definitely maybe'.
