L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 30-31

In today's LE Revisited post it's time to head back to collections 30 and 31 which came out back in November 2016 and March 2017, I really don't feel like they were that long ago! The Parisian vibes continued in LE30, but LE31 really stepped into a more modern LA-type vibe with definitely a shift in the style and designs of the pieces noticed between these two collections. LE30 is definitely not one of my more loved releases, I didn't pick up a lot at the time but managed to get the amazing LE Elegant Over The Shoulders Jacket in the Bazaar sometime in the last few years for a great price - one piece I would love to try out from this release are the LE Super High Velvet Boots which are over the knee and in such a beautiful navy colour, I think I'm going to have a hunt for them after writing this post! I definitely preferred LE31 between these two collections, I bought a lot from this one at the time of release but actually I found most of the pieces I got were quite tricky to style and fit into my wardrobe, so most of them have been sold on but I have held onto a couple of pieces that have really lasted and I like styling. Lets get into the looks!
With the golden accessories I thought these two looks paired together nicely. In the first look I've styled the LE Karen Walker Inspired Sunglasses (30th Collection) and Gold Heel Mules (31st Collection), but really these glasses could have gone easily in a couple of looks I've styled today, but these two accessories look pretty nice together I think - I've worn the glasses relatively regularly over the years, the shoes not so much but I have posted a few stylings with them on the blog before. I love a cropped length of trouser/skirt/dress with these so that the ribbon detailing around the ankle gets shown off, these culottes are perfect for that! I kept an all black and simple clothing look so that the focus was on the accessories. I love this bag in the styling too, super simple yet very stylish with just a little gold detail to match with the LE pieces - overall I really love it^ Second up is the LE Chloe Inspired Cable Knit Dress (30th Collection) in a simple styling, I do find this one tricky to style because it's hard to wear with other clothing pieces with it's oversized design, it can look good on its own too. I've gone down the 'typical me' route using gold accessories but more of a muted gold, I don't think I've ever used this bag before but I think it's very nice in this outfit. I don't see many people wearing this dress, would love to see someone else try and style it up =D
Next up some dark looks that are quite ready for the Winter to hit! In the first look are the Leather Belted Pants (31st Collection), I've styled them for a post or two on the blog previously and actually I find them super fun to work with so I need to get them out more this season. The cropped length is a little of an awkward one, so I get over that with boots, I love this pairing so much, these over the knee patent boots are fantastic with the texture of the trousers. I knew I wanted to wear a smarter shirt with these, white is a classic choice and I think it works well with the sheen on the trousers. I tried a lot of different coats with this look, but loved the oversized shoulders of this grey one with this outfit, I think the colour works nicely with both the black and white pieces; and couldn't help but add more sheen with this fabulous patent jewelled bag, love it! And then there is the LE Elegant Over The Shoulders Jacket (30th Collection), which I've worn so much since getting it in the Bazaar, so easy to style and it goes with so many pieces. I prefer staying away form the gold tones when wearing this because I think it has such a silvery vibe to it in the sheen on it, so I picked a matching culotte, I love these two together so much! I've fallen into loving beige tones with these trousers recently in stylings, so of course I continued that here, and I think the combination makes for a nice Autumn styling, the simple additions keep the focus on the amazing black pieces in the styling.
And for the final two looks - first up is the Ribbed Cropped Top (31st Collection) which I picked up in the Bazaar a couple of years ago after really wanting it for a long time. I struggled with styling it at first because it's really very cropped, but I've worn it a few times now and have worked out the best high-waisted pieces quite well. I love pairing this with beige/brown tones to match the button detailing at the neckline of the piece, these trousers look fabulous with it I think! I kept with a few simple black accessories, I love the slim straps of the shoes and the thin belt I think they work very nice to add a little balance, then I went a bit heavier with the bag and jacket. I really love this outfit I think, it's something a bit different for this piece, and it's another one I don't see styled often at all on members, so I'd love to see some people dig it out of their wardrobes and give it a go! And onto the final piece, the LE SS2017 Handbag (31st Collection) which I've styled up a couple of times on the blog - I considered selling this piece a number of years ago, but putting together some stylings made me keep it, and I'm glad because I adore this outfit I've put together for this post so much =D When I was starting to style this I was lacking some inspiration, so I looked online for some stylings with the Chloe Nile Bag (the inspiration for this piece), and found a couple of cute combinations that I liked and then this outfit came together - that was so worthwhile for me and is always an idea if you're not sure how to style something! This midi skirt is black, but the shade is different to that of the bag and the shoes, I don't mind this mixing so much, I think it helps make the bag stand out in the styling. And I thought these super cute shoes deserved some wear too, the brooch detailing has a gold hint to it so I think pairs well with the bag. I haven't worn this oversized perfect-for-Autumn sweater in a long time, but this look is perfect to revive it, I think it looks awesome in this outfit! This is a great Autumnal styling, and now I kind of don't want to take it off to style up something else^

I T G I R L S | Styled Outfits

Our Autumn It Girls release is a pretty good one - there's a real mix of styles and designs available, so a little something for everyone. I picked up a couple of pieces and still have my eye on a few others to try out. First up is the Black Shirt, which is a fairly basic yet versatile piece to have. I have several black shirts in my wardrobe, but I really like the relaxed styling to this one, of course along with the half-tuck design at the waist - it's a real selling point for the piece! I didn't use a jacket in the styling to make sure the shirt got shown off and I'm pretty happy with this black and white outfit for Autumn, it's something a little different from my favourite classic Autumnal colours. I love how the layering of the white polo looks under the shirt, I'm really loving that vibe for this upcoming season. The white jeans also really help the shirt the pop, and the black accessories finish the look nicely. Next up is the Dotted Trench which I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it, what a fun piece! I had a lot of fun styling this, it was great to see what worked with it and what didn't, I'm glad I had a good time with the trial and error process. I love my final choice for this one, these leather culotte trousers look great beneath the coat, I think the textures of the two work nicely together - as does that of the shoes, the sheen on them looks perfect with the coat and trouser combination. I kept the shirt simple and I think it fits the overall style well. The accessories are also simple but I think they fit nicely with the look, especially these earrings, a perfect pairing I think! And the last item are the Red Shoes, which are more of a Summer piece, but I still couldn't resist them - strappy sandals like these will always be easy to wear^ I added more red which helps the styling become a little more Autumn/Winter, this skirt is a perfect colour-match for the shoes and I think is such a fun piece to style, it doesn't need too much more added to it. A simple black top keeps the focus on the red, and I love the balance added with these bold earrings, I love them here so much =D I'm looking forward to keeping these sandals for next Spring/Summer though, I know they'll shine for sure!

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N | Revisited 29

Now time for the next Parisian themed collection LE 29 which is from August 2016. I bought several pieces at the time of release, but have also purchased quite a few in the Bazaar since - I think this may be the collection that I have most items from, and actually there's a couple I'd still love to find as well! This was another large collection with 3 floors and 20 looks, plus one for the guys. There were so many colours, patterns, textures and styles on offer, plus a whole host of accessories - it quite covered everything. So on to seeing what I've got today still (12 pieces!) and what I've styled up:
First up are two co-ord sets, I loved the LE Proenza Schouler Knit Top and Skirt a soon as I had seen them in the store. This set seems a little more casual than most of the other offerings in the store, I just loved the tassels so much, along with the bell sleeves of the top and the length of the skirt - I intended to style these separately, but I think actually I've never worn them together, and the pieces would have been styled quite similarly I predict, so I've paired them together. I love a black polo underneath for a more Autumn/Winter styling and I think it works well with the black trim details on the pieces. I also really love this skirt length with boots in the winter, any black pair would have worked well in the styling. I finished it off with this trendy bag and a hanging jacket along with some sunglasses. It's super simple, but I think the pieces bring enough detail to not make the look a plain one. Next are the LE Gucci Inspired Blouse and Silk Skirt, which I didn't originally buy in the store but since picked up in the Bazaar. For me the blouse has to be paired with the skirt, I haven't really found a way I like wearing it alone - I'm sure it's very possible, but for me, it's with the skirt. On the other hand, I like the skirt with other pieces. The print is amazing on these pieces, it completely deserves all the attention, so I kept the look around it very simple with a mix of black and white. I love the balance of the additions, I think the boots and jacket are perfect in black with the smaller accessories in white. I think this is a perfect Autumn look that I will definitely repeat!
Next up are the LE Rodarte Inspired Pants which I had in my 'LE wishlist' and ended up getting last year - I loved the styling I put together for them then, so had to try very hard not to just repeat that. That was pretty tricky, and I don't love this look so much, but I still like it and the very casual vibes it brings to these smart trousers, they look so good in a more dressy look but also can do casual which is great. I've gone with beige tones and I think the colour of the trousers is highlighted well with these - but I'd love to try them out with something vibrant, I'm not sure if I'm creative enough for that though, haha! Next up are the LE Aquazzura Inspired Velvet Booties which I also picked up in the Bazaar a couple of years ago because I kept seeing them and thought they were super cute - then I just never styled them! I won't lie, they were really tricky to style for this post, I did come up with quite a few options but nothing worked out quite perfectly, I think the answer is I need more clothes options that go with these, ha^ Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with this outfit that I'm sharing here, the boots look good with this bag and the glasses I think, and using all white/pale tones in the clothing really highlights the contrasting dark accessories. I think I'll definitely work some more on these boots this season to find another look for them highlighting the little gem details. These two pieces in this pair of looks are ones that I haven't really seen people wearing, I'd love to see these pieces get some focus in stylings!
Now for some sparkle with silver! Firstly in this set is the LE Dionysus Black Leather Bag, another piece I picked up in the Bazaar, this one sold out super quickly if I remember correctly, and I'm not surprised because it's a fantastic piece and out of all of the pieces I'm styling in this post, it's the one I've worn the most. It's a completely classic design and the simple black and silver colours make it very easy to wear, this look came together so quickly. I loved pairing it with more Gucci with these fab mule shoes, the two are great together. This skirt is one I always try out when wanting to include silver in a styling, and I think it's perfect for the bag, the silver meshing really highlights the bag in the styling. A simple sweater and some silver accessories made the perfect finishing touches. I really love this look a lot, a perfect dressy Autumn styling! Next are the LE Gucci Inspired Crossover Heels which I did buy originally in the store and have worn at least a few times over the years. they're an easy piece to style, but not something I automatically reach for when needing a silver shoe because of the more chunky design. These trousers are great for them with the length to really let them be highlighted. I really went for it in adding the silver with this glitzy top, again adding a black polo underneath for that Winter vibe, which I kept adding to with the furry stole in the hand. I think the look works out very nicely, and is definitely something I'd wear again - again these are shoes I don't see styled often and would love to see more of =)
Onto the last looks, first are the LE High Waisted Floral Flare Pants which have been one of my favourite pairs of trousers for such a long time, I used to wear them a lot but haven't so much in the last few years. I still love them though, and putting together this look reminded me of that! I decided to pick out the orange in the print to choose for the rest of the look and I'm so pleased with the final outcome, I think the layering of the polo and this cardigan is super cute, I love it a lot and I know I'll be wearing it again. The sparkly shoes and the gold detailing on the bag add a little glam to the styling and I think they also look pretty good with the trousers. This has really made me want to style up these trousers again already! Last but not least is the LE Loewe Inspired Bag, which I got a few years ago in the Bazaar after a long-term search for it, I wanted this bag for so long and then I got it and struggled with styling it! I think I've overcome that now a little, I styled it up in a recent post so for this one I was familiar with some of the pieces and colours that worked well with it, so I think that's got me off to a better start for styling this bag. I love the bag with this striped jacket a lot (the matching trousers in the styling was a bit much, but maybe another time!), the colour goes very nicely and the pale pink stripes help make the bag pop too. I think the tan is a fab colour for Autumn stylings, and I just feel so Autumnal with this styling - I love these shoes, a perfect fit for the bag and I think the pairing is highlighted with the use of the pale trousers. The brown polo is perfect for Autumn and I think the colour is also great with the rest of the look, now I just need the perfect pair of brown sunglasses to match!

E P I P H A N Y | Styled Outfits

Another release from a little while ago that I wanted to share stylings from is Epiphany - I don't always buy a lot from the jewellery specific stores, but with the pieces being available in both 'suite' and 'beauty parlor' forms, I find it very tempting! This time I picked up the Chain Earrings (the suite version as I know I'll get more wear this way) which are a fabulous pair of gold earrings, one side is a double hoop and the other a single, and they really pop well on the doll and stand out - perhaps the darker hair style is an advantage for this, but I think they look great^
The obvious for me was to pair them with other gold pieces, something I find very easy, haha! They really did look great with all of the clothing items I tried on, and will work in both casual and dressed up stylings. First up I went with this blazer and pleated skirt pairing which I've worn before, the gold in them in quite subtle so I think the earrings pop well against them. I stuck with brighter gold in the accessories too and I think everything pairs well together, I really love it^ For the second look I went with this jazzy dress, it's one of my favourite 'fancy' pieces in my wardrobe, and it's perfect with these earrings! There's not too much gold in the dress but I think with the black polo layered underneath, the earrings pop and draw out those gold stripes of sequins. Kept the accessories minimal, but these shoes are fabulous, pairing both gold and black which is perfect for the dress. These are both looks I'd definitely wear again, and I can't wait to include these earrings in many more stylings!

B I Z O U | Styled Outfits

It's been a little while since this latest Bizou release in the Plaza but I still wanted to share stylings with some of the pieces that I picked up - these are a bit of a mix of pieces for the season, but I've tried to go more Autumn/Winter with my looks. The first piece is the Ruffle Blue Collar Shirt which I think is super cute, but really seems quite a Spring/Summer item, I've given it a go to make it Autumn! I think it looks great with the white, but that doesn't really help in making it Autumnal, the layered polo and use of the tights with the skirt play that way for the outfit. I really loved the lace of this floaty skirt with the ruffle detail on the shirt, they will also work well in Spring looks. This blue will also look great with navy pieces, and also dark denim I think, I'd definitely try it with some jeans next time. Next up is the Chain Belt Long Skirt, and as it's a gold skirt I think it's a given that I would of course buy it! This piece looks great, it's so stylish and fits the doll very nicely, it will also work well year-round, but I think I'll get great wear out of it in Winter stylings. I've gone super classic with this styling for it, the black polo, boots and belt make a great combination and the skirt really takes the focus of the look. The black accessories are a nice finishing touch, and I love the gold-detailed bag with the look, it's a great balance with the belt design against the gold of the skirt. And the final piece is the Bucket Bag, which is definitely more of a Summer piece to me but I found some very nice items to make it work for this upcoming season - the black trim makes it easy to pair with black pieces and I really am excited to get more wear from these leather-style trousers, they're great with this bag for starters! With the shirt I focused on a brown to fit with the rattan of the bag, and I think this one fits pretty well, and also looks good with the trousers. The black glasses and tan boots are good balancing pieces to finish off the look with; I'm pretty pleased with this styling overall =D

B A S I C S | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

Within the last few releases we got some brand new BASICS pieces and this time they've really stepped it up with the styles included - the colours are spot on for this Autumn season and the pieces aren't as 'basic' as some of the previous ones from the store. The designs are all looking very Sezane-inspired and I love having that vibe, but I'd love a stand alone Sezane based store because there are so many great prints and styles that the brand have that they deserve a big spotlight if we're going to have them for our dolls I think! Anyway, this is a very nice taster and I've seen some fabulous features to share before including my own stylings, first up is fergaysson styling the Puff Sleeve Dress Purple. This piece I wasn't so sure about on my own doll, but it rocks in this look - the layering with the skirt ontop is pretty perfect I'd say. The colour is perfect, it fits yet the brighter tone really highlights against the tights which match the dress. The pleated draped style is great too^ Also love the accessories, this dinky perspex clutch is adorable and the colour is perfect for the styling, and the beautiful earrings really pop in the look especially against the blonde hair styling - overall such a great styling =D
And then we have Mery.- who wears the Wool Trousers Purple and matching Leather Belt Purple in a rather stylish look with this very cool coat, I love it so much! The retro vies are fabulous in it too^ The colour really pops against the black and white of the rest of the pieces, with both the trousers and the polka dots managing to balance the focus very nicely. Really love the accessories, the bag is the perfect addition alongside these sweet earrings and the retro sunglasses - perfection^
I didn't think I'd be able to pull off the magenta, but these guys are making it seem wearable so maybe I will give the colour a chance! In the meantime I picked up a few things, first the Wool Trousers Green, and after styling them I'm really seeing the need for the matching belt, so I think I'll be getting that too. I found these very easy to style, it's very classic me, but the green and the beige are perfect for each other - other colours will work too, but I think some trial and error will be needed along with creativity =) I added accessories in a different beige tone and I really like the contrast there, I think everything pairs together nicely and I know I'll wear these trousers again for sure. Then I picked up some of the blouses and actually I found these more difficult to style than anticipated, perhaps why the outfits are looking a little similar. So the first one is the Blouse Yellow and I really liked tan/brown pieces with it, but couldn't decide at all on which trousers to pick so I opted for something completely different, haha! But I think the white works nicely with the pearl buttons on the blouse still. I really like the wide leg style with the blouse design, I think it's really cute, but I'm definitely lacking a belt, I didn't have anything that worked well enough. For accessories it's a bit of a mix, the yellow shoes are a nice little balance, and the earrings balance the light trousers and lastly managed to get some tan in the look with this bag, I really love it with the blouse! The last piece is the Blouse Green, and after styling the other one I found this one easier as I knew what style of trouser worked with the pieces. I like the more yellowed tone of these against the green, the two colours are perfect together I think. Again opted for boots to match the blouse, and I just love this bag with the outfit, makes for a perfect finishing touch =)
