Bag It Up Challenge #150

I can't believe we've reached the end of May already, it's unbelievable! And here is a very spring/summer styling for the next challenge post featuring the Pastel Swirls Purse from Voile. I've had this piece for a long time and I know for a fact that I've never worn it! I find the idea of it quite tricky, it's not got the ideal hold for the doll even though it does have a nice gold chain, and the colours aren't very 'me', I find it tricky to pick out the best colour match for it, although I think I did a decent job of it with this styling =D This skirt is about as good as it gets for a good colour match in my wardrobe and keeping the rest of the look light and simple works best for showing off the printing on the bag^

Tanned

Such a beautiful and stylishly styled feature today on the blog - from ajenkam! I love the use of this tied tan dress/coat piece, it's not something I would have thought could look awesome, especially with such few additions, but it really works! The white polo adds a brightness that attracts attention, and the gold patterned cropped trousers are a nice addition which adds to the look but also brings a little something special^ The accessories are fitting and well chosen but I want to draw focus to the makeup look - soooo good! The colours are perfect and flattering for both the doll and the outfit =)

We Wear Hotbuys M A Y | Floral Printed Sunglasses

And finally our final HB for May! These HBs sure have extended throughout the month this time =) These are the Floral Printed Sunglasses from RIO and cost 13SD's. To be honest these are the HB this month which easily slip my mind, they don't really sell to me from the advertising and I can't see myself wearing them at all ... totally selling this one well aren't I?! The flowers are definitely pretty but I don't think they work right with the style of the sunglasses unfortunately - maybe they will look better on the doll? Take a look!
Yep, still not a piece that I'm a fan of - didn't really enjoy styling them and I doubt I'd wear them again, sorry to bring a disappointing review! Vote in our poll though, the others have certainly done better than I have:

Suite Style

Such an incredibly stylish suite for today's feature from Bay_watch11 - take note people, here is someone who knows exactly what they're doing in the interior design category! The focus has really been on the recent Jet Set Decor release, and I love what's been done with each of the pieces and how they've been added to to make this awesome room! I really like the pinks used, they brighten the room and add a nice femininity from the golden and beige tones of the room (which I really do love too^) There's not too much going on, but at the same time, everything's been well put together --- thumbs up =D

A N T I D O T E | Release Review

Our newest limited store to hit the Plaza was this snappy new Antidote release on Friday! The homepage advert is bright, vibrant and flashy and certainly attention grabbing. It gives a good idea of the styles the store includes and looks very modern and current in trends, certainly exciting =D
Highlights Now I have to say I've never always been a fan of Antidote, for me it's quite hit or miss with the styles it includes in fitting in with my likes and style ideas - but I think this one is alright, sure there's pieces that I wouldn't wear but on the most part this is a pretty decent release. Plus it helps that it's on a pretty pink interior design!
Accessories There's quite a good range of accessory pieces available in this store along with the usual shoe and bag choices. There's also quite a range of styles from high fashion, with the Marble Effect Sunglasses, Large Glitter Tassel Earrings and Twisted Huge Hoops, and then street style like the Sequin Trucker Cap and Edgy Electric Blue Sunglasses. Considering I'm not a huge earring person, I'm quite impressed with these pairs in the store, almost enough to make me think about trying to style earrings more! There are 3 bags, the Balenciaga Inspired Carry All Bag, the Valentino Inspired Studded Suede Bag - which is my favourite - and the Antidote Camera Bag, a style which I've noticed a lot more in RL and been quite liking, but I don't like the logo so much on this piece which I think others may feel mutual about. I didn't feel attracted to any of the shoes, which are all boots, this time, and I haven't seen many people styling them either, the Philip Lim Inspired Zip Boots seem the best of the bunch and do remind me a lot of older styles from the Plaza.
Clothing So now the clothing, with a huge range of colours and styles and choice! There are quite a few sheer-styled pieces and in a range of items, which is pretty good, there's the Transparent Shoulder Tshirt and Tulle Lilac Top in tops, the Silver Sprinkle Ski Style Pants and Fishnet Pants, which I totally can't get enough of, great shape and super flattering, in the bottomhalves category and then the Belted Mesh Dress which is a pretty classy piece for a sheer dress! As from the Tulle Lilac Top you'll also notice that lilac-y/lavendar-y/grey-ish tones have a prominence in the store too - firstly with the little group on the second floor with the Tassels And Shoulders Bodycon Dress, Shimmering Utility Jacket (a piece I'm regretting not buying because the shimmer and colour is pretty awesome) and Lilac Sequins Kimono Dress, and then extended with the pale greys, which really do categorise well with the lilacs, mainly with the High Neck Embellished Sweatshirt and Embellished Loose Sweatpants. The next little trend included is printing with the Cherry Blossom Silk Dress and Tulip Mini Skirt which a gorgeous pieces, very pretty and classic while in current styles and trends. I think they've been pretty popular with everyone, including me! I'm such a huge fan of yellow so that was the first thing that caught my eye, but I also like the flatting fit of the pieces and the way they will definitely make a look pop out in the crowd! I think there's a lot of scope there for an interesting styling! And lastly who could forget the gingham! Albeit there are just a couple of pieces, the Gingham Denim Corset Shirt, Gingham Cotton Shorts and the Belted Gingham Shirt Dress this is a good inclusion of the popular trend, and they sold out super quickly! The open neck styles are current and popular and I think they look good on the doll - I'm sure we'll be seeing these items styled for most of this summer =)
Prices The collection is all SS only, which I think is in line with previous releases, and prices range from 28 to 105SD's, and on the most part I think things are quite well priced. A few things did cause my eyebrows to raise a little but prices are fine on the whole.
Styled Outfits I bought quite a few different items to try out from the store and here are 3 of my looks! First up the High Neck Embellished Sweatshirt which I really went with with the silver - I think the glittered skirt makes the look stand out. I also liked the casual style of the coat with the top and this combination is definitely something I'd try out again. And then its counterpart, the Embellished Loose Sweatpants which I'm having mixed feelings for now, as well as this look. I like the jacket with the trousers as the sleeves make a pretty decent fit, but I don't think this style suits me in the slightest! Hmm, back to the drawing board with these ones I think! And lastly pairing the Cherry Blossom Silk Dress and Tulip Mini Skirt - this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this dress and I love the frilled edging the skirt can add to the look! I definitely felt confused about how best to accessorise but I really liked how the grey/silver bag worked out with the print^
Features And now a couple of features to end the post - and they're pretty fab^ Firstly is Isabella8103 going all out gingham with the Gingham Denim Corset Shirt. It really was the denim part to the piece which I didn't like and this styling solves that easily! The belts are great and fitting to the overall style. I don't find the mix-match of gingham too much, it's pretty perfect =)
And then secondly is pandaribbon, who has very speedily gone and style 4 fabulous looks! I couldn't just pick one because they're all great for the individual pieces and they show the versatility and range the items really do have. I particularly like the floral midi dress made darker and paired with the Eyelets Galore Vest and also all those perfect pink accessories matched with the Cherry Blossom Silk Dress =)

Neon blue

Cool and modern with this feature styling today from polinapolinka =) This doll has had a few features in the past month and this one is easily added to the collection. I love the combination of neon yellows with the vibrant blue, the two are a nice contrast and the colour isn't too much with all of the white used in the look too - this blazer resized is one of my favourite things and I love the trouser combination to get that cut hemline with the wider leg. Belts are pretty great and are definitely super eye catching!

We Wear Hotbuys M A Y | Platform Oxford Shoes

And next HB accessory up ... the Platform Oxford Shoes! These are from Pretty 'N Love and are priced at 20SD's. They're not my style at all, I'm not a fan of the Oxford brogue-type shoes, so these immediately don't appeal to me, especially with a slightly higher price-tag for shoes, but the colours are pretty nice and the browns, blacks and whites certainly do give plenty of options for styling. What I do like is the trim design between the different colour segments, I like the effort that's gone into it^
Actually a whole lot easier to style than I was anticipating. I still don't like the clumpy-flat-ness of the heel, it's not hugely flattering but the colours are definitely easy to work with - so it's a bit of a toss-up as to whether I like these or not, they definitely have both pro's and con's! Remember to vote in our poll too:

Burgundry flare

A little more wintery today but rather sultry at the same time with this styling from yulissahermosa! I always love these trousers, and they're a pretty big hit in this look - they suit the black well which lets the tone stand out, but I love the open neck style of the blazer and the square cut shoulders are a super style addition. Also loving this belt! So many people have been wearing it well recently and this look is added to that collection, the flowing flare style is cool and it fits perfectly with the whole look^ Plus can't ignore that makeup look - amazing lip colour, fab eye makeup and some great jewellery =D

Metallic Creepers | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

I spotted this awesome styling by Sharik. recently styling the PopShop Metallic Creepers - these were a piece I wasn't convinced that worked for me at all, even though they were fab and silver and metallic ... so I tried them on after this look and I think I've changed my mind^ I really liked the casual styling to Sharik.'s outfit, the culottes fit well but the washed denim of the coat also looks surprisingly good. I love that it's mostly a minimal styling, with a simple black shoulder bag and light mesh socks used - those socks are pretty fab though! For my styling I was pretty determined the make use of this silver-shimmered jacket even though it's more of a winter piece. It was then a bit of a toss up as to what to add to the two pieces, and this simple black look was what came out - I definitely think crops work well with these shoes to show them off, and that detailing, they really are an intricately designed pair of shoes that should have some limelight!

We Wear Hotbuys M A Y | Balenciaga Inspired Raffia

More HB accessories and the start of a little Hotbuy flurry until the end of the month^ This is the Balenciaga Inspired Raffia from Bizou costing 16SD's. I think it's a suitable summer piece with the basket weave style and I quite like the vibe that the dark handle brings to the lighter colour of the body of the bag. It's definitely quite a nice piece, and pretty versatile, I think it will work well for a lot of people =)
I think we've successfully shown reasonable versatility with our looks for this bag. I think some great wedges with a straw style heel would be perfect, I have a pair in mind but I don't think they exist on Stardoll sadly^ Anyway, plenty of clothing choices to go for with this piece and it's worth a go if you're even just contemplating buying it! And vote in the poll as usual:

Eat your Greens

It was my birthday last week! My fellow Lookbook blogger AudreyHepburn. gave me this gorgeous green Folk dress as a lovely surprise birthday gift, to go with the horrendous cold I got from my colleagues at work!

I didn't  want to just wear it as a dress so I tried to do something that I hope is a little bit more interesting. Me-and-my-Turtleneck should be the name of autobiography at this point, but I really wanted something prim and structured to pull together all the drapey, loose elements in the rest of the outfit.

This is also one of those looks where I've basically thrown everything at it to see what sticks: one bold colour, sheer trousers, over-long sleeves, fringe, white booties....just call me fashion soup.

Ingredients / You Will Need

Transparent Pushkin Pants | Bonjour Bizou
Asymmetrical Ruffled Mesh Overshirt | Antidote

Bag It Up Challenge #149

Another challenge post today - unfortunately not enough time for me to review today's Antidote release for this post, but it'll be coming soon! This is the Valentino Inspired Handbag from It Girls which is a pretty cute piece and perfect for spring in that light green tone^ It's not really a tricky piece to style, it has an easy shape and colouring and suits a lot of different styles. I've worn it quite a few times as well, and alike this look, it's been an easy-wear. I let the lighter green stand out pairing it with creams and this darker green jacket, a pairing I really like and want to wear again, and kept the rest of the accessories minimal with just these perspex heels - pretty casual overall!

Bag It Up Challenge #148

Something sweet and fun today with feminine pink styling this next bag for the challenge - the SS16 White Backpack from PPQ which is a handheld piece in a sports-luxe style. Despite it's easy looks and reasonable colour and size, I find this one tricky to style because of the low hanging straps - if the skirt or trousers are too cropped they don't look quite right around the ankles, however these pink jeans are a good fit! The pink definitely lets the bright white shine around it, and I continued that flow in other pieces of the look, I think the 9 to 5 Lab Coat skater-skirted style works really nicely here =)

Layered love

Love a good layered styling in this next look from dm2udm2u today =) The outfit primarily makes good use of the recent Subcouture items but I absolutely love the layering of the top created from this blue-lace-nude-sleeved piece underneath and then the sheer bow blouse on top, it looks great and sells both pieces well! Both tops work very nicely with the silver skirt and I love the casual vibe added by the sweater in hand which is contrasted by the flashy boots and bag =D

I T G I R L S | Release Review

At the end of last week we got a brand new drop of It Girls in the Plaza! I'm sure a lot of us were expecting Young Hollywood, but this release is still pretty good too - and no limited items^ The homepage advert is the typical style for this store and shows off a range of bright colours and current pieces that this store is offering us =)
Highlights I really think this store came out on top, I think the release really stands out in the Plaza and there are a fab mix of trends and styles and pieces to choose from - even if it's just the usual one floor release! There's quite a clear gradient in the store, from black pieces through denim and then to light pieces but I think it works well to catch attention. I'm just pretty impressed overall =D
Accessories A minimal collection of accessories as always with these releases but I think this set really covers all the bases of what you need. For me the All Or Nothing Patent Pumps really stand out, not just because they're the only shoes, but they immediately catch my eye as a current and trendy item. In terms of boldness, the Valentino Inspired Orange Shoulderbag certainly grabs attention being bright orange, which I really love. It's stylish and everyone can't resist a little bit of something designer. I like the over-shoulder style of bags like this too, it's definitely a wearable piece! The Lace Lace Up Choker is a pretty delicate piece which I think will be quite popular for feminine styles.
Clothing I already mentioned the gradient between styles in the store and I think this works really nicely for the store as it will probably appeal to a wider audience which I always like to see - even if not everything is to my taste^ I'll start with the darker pieces of which two really appeal to my eye in terms of being what I would regard as current and trendy, the Chiffon Off Shoulder Top which has some cool layers and a little ruffled feel to it which I really like in adding to a look, and also the Belted Western Lace Dress which has an oversized design with quite cool boxy-styled shoulders. I like the texture on this one too and I think it deserves a chance to be styled! For me the Green Puff Sleeve Trench didn't stand out so much, I like the idea and I think it could maybe be nice, but I just wish the sleeves were full length for me to get enough wear out of it. Of the denims I'm split quick 50:50 on them, I like the Patch Denim Midi Skirt and Layered Tshirt Dress a lot, they're different pieces we've not had in the Plaza, are current, and make for interesting styles, while I'm not so into the Ripped Festival Denim Shorts nor the Pink Pearls Loose Fit Denim jeans, I don't find them very flattering on my doll or all that current really =/ And lastly at the paler end of the store featuring pinks and whites and I'm really quite sold on these items! Absolutely love the Simple White Denim jeans, they're like the non-ripped version of the HB jeans we got a while back, so I think they're pretty perfect in fit and design! Initially I wasn't sure I'd like the White On White Corset Top, but after trying it on and seeing a few stylings I really like the style, and the fit of the tee is pretty awesome. I think featuring it in a styling would make an interesting focus. And the pinks! The Rose Tulle Sweatshirt Top is quite an adorable piece, and despite it coming across certainly as tricky to style, something draws me to it anyway ... maybe the perfect shade of rose, or maybe the desire to try out this trend^ And lastly the Romantic Mesh Blouse, which is quite awesome for such a sheer piece. I love the frills and the cool sleeve design, it definitely makes the top stand out, and I also love the high collar neckline, it works very nicely for the piece =)
Prices The release ranges from 12 to 25SD's, which I do think is maybe a little high for a regular floor release, it's always good having a couple of items under 10SD or in SC's additionally. There's also 3 pieces which are SS only.
Styled Outfits I ended up buying quite a few pieces from the store and had a lot of fun styling these 3! They're definitely summer oriented looks and it gets me excited for more stylings like this^ First up the Romantic Mesh Blouse and these trousers are a perfect match in both colour and style! The polka dots of the top are highlighted against the trousers and they fit well with their sheer design - couldn't have asked for two pieces to fit better! I chose matching shoes and this trusty yellow shoulder bag. I'd definitely wear this outfit again, but do look forward to trying the shirt out with some more items. Secondly the Simple White Denim jeans which really could have been worn with just about anything, I just happened to choose some pinks! I love the sandals as they really show off the ankles and let the ripped hems get some limelight. Not much else to say about them, but they get full marks for versatility^ And lastly the Chiffon Off Shoulder Top which almost looks like a dress paired with this skirt and I really like the quite nice formal feel the look has, which is added to by the All Or Nothing Patent Pumps and a matching bag. It's minimal yet quite beautiful and an effective way of styling the pieces =)
Features And now for a couple of features! This is Fashion__Victim wearing the Patch Denim Midi Skirt and Valentino Inspired Orange Shoulderbag in this young street style. I really liked the use of the orange vest with the twill design of different colours matching the bag strap very well. I also like how the orange has been combined very well into the muted blue tones, it looks good and it stands out, great job =)
And then millaxx wearing both the White On White Corset Top and Simple White Denim jeans, they look good together, what's not to like?! The black overcoat adds a vibrant contrast and really draws attention to the shirt especially I think. I love the boots chosen too, they suit the slightly grungier style of this outfit and yet still highlight the ripped hems - thumbs up!

Resort ready

The first thing I thought when I saw today's fabulous styling by FunOpler was 'Wow isn't that just resort summed up in one look?!?' I love resort collections and this styling is totally on point for their vibe and for summer as well! I think the green looks amazing and the white skirt is a perfect popping contrast. The printed panels at the side are great and such a good idea to transform what could have been a very nice but minimal skirt^ The accessorising is simple yet fitting to the overall style and it's just right =D

We Wear Hotbuys M A Y | Selena Ombre Earrings

In keeping with the Hotbuy accessories, here is our next one! These are the Selena Ombre Earrings from It Girls and they cost 15SD's, which is maybe a little pricey for earrings, so I think that might be a little negative point that people easily pick out about this piece. I love the colour gradient, it's super pretty and the tones chosen are perfect - plus they offer a lot of choice for outfits, so many options based on these colours =)
Just a whole lot of pink today! Pink is the easy choice I think, I did have a good browse through my dresses, but nothing fitted quite as creatively as I was looking for, so I just need a little more time, but there's definitely something that's not pink that works super well with these earrings! I definitely like them on my doll a lot more than I expected to, which was a nice surprise =) Remember to vote in the poll too:

Frolicking flowers

Flaunting all the fabulous-ness with this bright and bold styling today from M.FENTY! This orange zebra coat certainly catches your eye the minute you see it, it's not something you can style in a subtle way, that's for sure^ But I love it paired with this second bold print of the boots - in fact they're StarDesign, which is crazy amazing, and they're a perfect match for the floral printed pieces we recently got in Subcouture. I think the print certainly holds its own against the coat, it's definitely paid off in this styling going for 'more is more'!

Bag It Up Challenge #147

Looking smart and classy today with this next challenge post. This next bag is the Studded Mens Clutch from the Couture Tribute store which came out a few years ago now! It's advertised as being for the guys but to be honest it's a pretty unisex piece that could work for anyone. It's pretty minimal with a classic clutch shape and being black makes it versatile. The gold studded trim is a nice addition and really highlights the need for further gold in an outfit^ No complaints from me there! I stuck with a simple dress to let the gold stand out which I used in my heels and earrings, although I made a bad hair choice there and you really can't see them ... I like it though =D

Pastel arts

Love this pastel pink look from twittersred - I really think it's perfect for spring and is right on all the popular trends! I like the satin bra ontop of the polo, I think it looks classy for the style and the matching pink high-waisted lace midi skirt is a fab pairing! It's a piece I didn't buy because it looked pretty tricky to style, but this is perfect for it =) The denim is a nice contrast and adds an artsy feel to the outfit. Also liking the socks and lace shoes pairing, super cute and stylish!

'1970' Bella Freud | Styled By You / / Styled By Me

This weekend I spotted fearstar wearing this amazing Bella Freud inspired sweater and I immediately knew I needed it in my life! So I headed to StarDesign, and although I'm not a snazzy nor swifty designer (however saying that, I did do a cool Celine design once!), I can do simple numbers and so I made myself this sweater in a couple of different colours - today I styled my bold yellow one to keep it super similar to fearstar but I am insanely in love with the deep red one that I did and you may have spotted me posting over on FB^ I'll start with fearstar's look for now though, and I love the casual-ness to the style, I think the sweater shade suits these jeans very well and also the hems with that heel combination - definite check mark from me. The bag is awesome too, it stands out in it's own right but the vibrant colour against the mustard tone really pops and contrasts and attracts the eye - just great =D For my look I went with a brighter yellow sweater because I have a thing for bright yellow and it just fits so well with white pieces^ It's easy to style these types of sweaters as they're pretty versatile and you can never really go wrong with jeans and I even added a blazer. My next steps are to work on more wow-factor accessorising for this sweater, I need to up my game! I'm also probably going to make it in like 10 different colours, pink, green and ocean blue are next on my list so maybe keep an eye out on my suite =D

T H E J E T S E T | Release Review / / #MYSUITESUNDAY

And more decor! I decided I'd just get all the decor and suite related releases out of the way in this mammoth My Suite Sunday day and here is the next one - The Jet Set with a whole floor of Decor! The homepage advert looks very cool and swishy stylish and shows off a range of items with a bright and current feel to it, I think it gives great vibes for the whole floor!
Collection I really love this collection as there is such a golden hue just exuding from the whole floor of the release! The Montecito Interior is a great open room to play around with and style and is very much a trendy blank canvas to work with. The wooden floor is great and I love the symmetrical doors and the fresh view they provide. The gold theme is followed in a lot of the pieces, firstly in furniture with the Geometrical Side Table and also with the accessories of the 3 Vintage Vases, Golden Table Lamp and Floor Glass Brass Lighting. I never really know how to best use lighting and lamps in decorating, so I kind of avoid them, but maybe I should try these out! The main furniture items are pretty versatile and give a lot of styling options, with the Beige Sofa, Upholstery Armchair Footstool, Round Ottoman and Concrete Coffee Table - again, coffee tables scare me in decorating, I just can't figure out how to make them look good, so I've stuck with the seating this time! The textiles are super pretty, just love the Set Of 3 Cushions, perfect design, and also the planting and flowers with the Seagrass Belly Baskets and Flowers And Books - now just to figure out how to best use these pieces in my suite!
Prices As this is The Jet Set, it is an SS only store, which we all know going into it, but the prices all range from 8 to 30SD's, however it is only the interior at the top end of this scale. I think everything is pretty reasonable and the prices fit in with other prices of similar decor stores. Everything is designed well and looks good so I have no problem with the prices of any of the items.
# M Y S U I T E S U N D A Y I was very unsure whether to purchase the Montecito Interior or not, I think it is definitely the best place for all of these furniture items to fit well, but I do have a lot of interiors that I don't use so after a search through them I found that this Chanel one seemed a pretty good fit too - I particularly liked the black windows as they really open up the option for styling the dark frame of the Beige Sofa and also the Round Ottoman - so that's what I did! I centred the room on them and I think they both fit very nicely into this interior, I'm glad it worked out! I didn't put too much into the room as I wanted a reasonable focus on these new items, but I think for just a short time, I styled it pretty well^ I kept up with the darker furniture theme and included this Rhino Chair from an old LE collection - I think the quilting fits well with the Ottoman style. I also included just a few little trinkets, centred around the The Jet Set Picture, including the Set of Vintage Vases and I like how this little set of pieces looks together.

Summer sun

As well as blues, polinapolinka also does sunshine brights well too^ I love this whole combination ready for the summer season this time on this doll! Oranges and yellows are quick to catch any attention, including mine, and I love how these two ruffled tops have been combined making a very cool sleeved blouse - and paired with the white pieces beneath I adore the levels of the sleeves on the dolls right. The accessorising ontop of the clothes has been perfect, love the layered belts and the continued use of black and white in the earrings. Those orange heels are also pretty cool!

B A S I C S D E C O R | Release Review / / #MYSUITESUNDAY

It was a little while ago now, but Stardoll has recently brought us a brand new BASICS collection to the Plaza, this time a Decor one! I decided to save this post for a Sunday so as well as giving my review of the release I'll also combine it with my suite design of the pieces^ I think the homepage ad gives a good introduction to the store and highlights some key interior trends that are currently circulating so definitely makes me excited!
Collection The collection is pretty minimal and focused I think with this release. I really like each piece as it is, and I'm quite happy with the smaller release rather than each of the pieces coming in numerous different colours, plus everything here fits with current popular interior trends and will keep people happy! The Birch Wood Dining Table and matching Bench are perfectly 'Scandi' and will fit a lot of different interior styles, but most importantly with the light white aesthetic that is very popular. These pieces are easy to dress up with different trinkets, like the Blue Handmade Glass Vase or the Milky Glass Potted Olive Plant (or take some inspiration from my recent post on plants^). And most of the pieces do offer up the opportunity to get creative with their plain base colour or design, like the little set of stacking tables in both Small and Medium sizes, and the Modern Clean Light Grey Sofa. It's such a simple seating piece that there are so many options to choose for it with textiles and extras^ The sets of curtains, in Light, Grey and Dark, are a fabulous addition to the store and Plaza and I think will be a regular purchase for many people for many different suite styles.
Prices This really is an affordable collection. Everything is priced in SC's and ranges between 120 and 285SC's, which is great! Now I just need some more coins because there are more pieces I want to get for my suite, plus little pieces like a lot of those Milky Glass Potted Olive Plants to have on hand in storage!
Feature I did find one suite that really highlighted the new pieces, and that is this room from visennamm =) I like the use of the darker furniture while the room still feels quite airy and light, I think the spread of the pieces works really well. The Shades Of Grey Carpet fits in beautifully and the lighter tone is highlighted with lighter decor pieces including the Milky Glass Potted Olive Plant and the flowers in the centre - I just love it!
# M Y S U I T E S U N D A Y I made use of two rooms in my styling this decor release, one of which is starting out and the second which was just adding to what was already there. The Modern Clean Light Grey Sofa is a good main piece for a room, and it was easy to add some cushions to, including the Round Pattern Cushion, and to spruce up with a little plantlife from the Milky Glass Potted Olive Plant. The tables, both Small and Medium were easy to fit into a room I've already worked with and I think it's a nice addition to introduce more little bits and pieces, like the Blue Handmade Glass Vase. This is something I'll add to from time to time when inspiration strikes^
