R U N W A Y | Styled Outfits

December brought us a brand new RUNWAY release and I really was impressed by this one, quite a few bits to choose from and some fantastic styles. Not too much extravagance or out there design, but really pieces that can be worn, which I very much do appreciate.
First up I have the Sheer Tulle Chanel Jacket and Metallic Silver Earrings - now I am still thinking about the matching pants for this jacket because I do really like the look as a whole, I'm just not completely sure how they will style separately so for the moment I've not got them, but the jacket styles separately really well! With both black and white on the piece it's easy to pair neutral toned pieces, I stuck with a white base and added some small touches of black in the accessories. These earrings have a bit of black in them so they paired well. Overall simple but sleek^ Next is the Grey Wool Sweater a dressier version of a casual piece due to the more structured shoulder design which I think really is what sells it to me. The slimmer fit on the waist is perfect for a tucked-in look and I knew I wanted to contrast the square shoulders with a slim fit on the bottom half. These black leopard print trousers are such a fun piece and I love them with the sweater! The accessories were easy to add after the clothing, adding simple designer pieces to really pop against the more basic clothing options. Such a nice Autumn/Winter look that I'll be repeating =) And thirdly here is the White Feather Crop Top, what a fun piece! For me it looks more silver than white so I kept the silver throughout the look in the accessories, it really works well with so many different accessory items. This blue skirt with silver details seemed like a fun addition with the fringe detail as well, and I think the darker colour really helps the look to stand out and pull attention!
With the next set of looks it's more focused on the outerwear. First here we have the Prada Brown Fur Coat and Prada Brown Leather Boots, a beautiful pairing and one I know I'll be coming back to. I did find the length of the coat quite tricky to work with in terms of finding a skirt or trousers to pair with it and in the right colour and that's something I'll definitely continue to work on. For this look I opted for an illusion skirt and these brown tights were really perfect with the colours of the pieces. Kept a brown base with a simple top, and then on to accessorising. I agonised about which bag to pick for ages, in the end I opted for something paler and thought to let it have a little moment with those sparkles. I do think it works, but I think there's a dream bag for this coat out there somewhere! But in the meantime I like this one, and actually it's such a cute piece that I for sure need to wear it more too. And finally, the Open Fur Coat and I had so much fun with this one^ With the lighter fur on the collar I knew I wanted to include some beige tones here, and these gem'd up trousers were the perfect fitting option for a fun look. They're so statement that I kept the rest of the additions simple, with black shoes, top and glasses to really keep the fur and trousers as a focal point. The final addition of this bag is super cute, love this little piece in here and I think the colour is perfect for the beige. For sure not a typical choice against black but I really like it and think it works out well for a look that I love =D

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N #56 | Styled Outfits

After my review, now for my looks with the brand new LE56! Absolutely loved this release and felt super inspired by it for looks. I really love all the outfits I put together with the pieces and already can't wait to style them up again^
First up the Fendi Leather Baloon Top and Brown Skirt, which I did try to style separately but I really do love them together. I wanted to make sure the details of the top stood out so decided not to layer on top, but to make it a Winter styling layered with a polo beneath. The beige colour gave me the idea for the boots and then the rest of the look was born - nothing super attention grabbing, but everything just fits nicely to complement the style and colour of the pieces. For sure these pieces will be great in the Autumn. Next are the Aviator Burgundy Sunglasses and Fendi Quilted Leather Bag, which are so great together. I knew I wanted to wear this belt and jacket pairing with the bag when I saw it and I just really love it^ Kept it simple with more burgundy accessories, and with the gold buckle on the belt I knew gold would be perfect for a skirt, I think this is super fun with all the pleats against the sheen on the jacket and the quilting on the bag =)
Next up are two looks with white trousers. First are the White Cuffed Pants, a super simple piece but so beautiful in style and design. I loved these jewelled black pointed heels with the trousers and knew I had to style a look around that pairing, the pearls and jewelled pieces were easy to pick out and I really love this outfit, I think the beige of the trousers really stands out against the black in the other pieces and had so much fun pairing silver with that. Something a bit different for me but I love it a lot! Then are the Sphere Gold Earrings and Orange Furry Chanel Sweater in an absolute stunner of a look, so proud of this one^ I felt there were pearl-vibes in the buttons so decided to look for more pearl pieces and these trousers were too fabulous to ignore! I stuck with fitting pieces in pearls and colours from the sweater, I think the little black touches are a perfect balance with the sweater. This might be my favourite look that I've styled in a while =)
Final set of looks, and first up Fendi Round Structured Bag, so much love for this pretty bag, such a stunning inclusion in the release and I'm so excited to have it in my collection. Loved pairing up this red and brown, a great colour pairing that I really haven't tried out before but I'm loving it^ Lots of red and brown pieces that work with the bag individually but I did find it a little tricky to get the right pieces together, but adore this combination - Autumn/Winter perfection. Second is the Velour Diamond Pattern Sweater which I just love but did find it a bit difficult to style because I don't really have much in the way of magenta in my wardrobe. However I did come up with a look that I do really like, pink on pink with a touch more pink! In the end I got darker pink accessories, this bag especially looks so cute with the sweater, these pieces were made to be together, and these glasses are pretty perfect too. And finally the Green Leather Belt Skirt, just an amazing piece that I can see in my wardrobe for years to come. I loved these shoes with the skirt, and their darker tone inspired my use of black and grey on the top half - I wanted to wear more green but nothing was quite the right shade, however I don't think I mind too much because I think the grey-black-green works pretty nicely. Had fun with the accessories, the earrings are a nice green touch and love the bag choice a lot too, what a fun piece =)

L I M I T E D E D I T I O N #56 | Release Review

Well this was a bit of a surprise, already we've got LE56 released, what a way to start the year! It really feels like the last release was very recent, it was only 3 months ago and it was a pretty solid drop that I'm still thinking about, now time to think about another one! Love the logo with the light shimmer and the misted green background, let's already get on and check out the release:
The release has 3 floors with a total of 18 looks, with several pieces available in both male and female fits. Overall I'm so impressed with this release, I love the mix of colours, fabrics and styles, it really does look like an amazing collection and it leaves me feeling inspired. I was sad to get to the release too late for a few of the items, but I'm happy with the pieces that I did pick up.
Accessories first. There are 4 designs of shoes and I do think they all look great in the collection, but this time I'm not picking any up. The Diesel Pocket Boots look fantastic but were sold out by the time I got to them, however they are quite similar in design to a few other pairs we've had recently, so I do think there are alternatives out there. The Burberry White and Green Brecon Pumps have a vintage feel to them and I am quite tempted by that orange trim, but not so much a style that I would wear often. For me, the bag offerings are much more successful, albeit there still aren't many. There are 4 to choose from and I just loved the Fendi Round Structured Bag as soon as I saw it! The round shape, size, handle length and the colours are just fantastic and I think it's pretty unique in style and design for the Plaza right now, plus it just looks super stylish. I also really like the Fendi Quilted Leather Bag, both the quilting and the burgundy colour are beautiful, I feel like this bag just is me all over^ We also have 4 pairs of sunglasses to choose from and interestingly these haven't sold out as I'm writing this post so maybe not as popular pieces of the release - I particularly like the Aviator Burgundy Sunglasses because they have a great colour and quite a unique design, really something different to the many pairs of sunglasses that I already have. And there are a small number of jewellery items as well. The Givenchy Pearl Fall Earrings and Necklace set is beautiful, gutted to have missed out on the earrings for sure, I think this duo will be fabulous styled up! I did manage to get the Sphere Gold Earrings though and these look super fun and another item that's very 'me' so I think I'll have a good time with these.
Onto the clothing. I have to say that normally there does feel like a theme of sorts on each floor, but this time I really don't see something like that - all I'm seeing is lots of pieces I like XD So the first floor: the first piece to catch my eye was the Orange Furry Chanel Sweater, I mean, what a piece! Such fabulous colours, I already had so many ideas for it on first glance. This fits the doll beautifully and has been designed incredibly well, such a great piece. I also really like the look of the Embroidered Grey Sweater, the crop is a really nice length on it along with the floral design, however it was sold out when I got there. The set of the Diamond Pattern Furry Turtleneck and White Cuffed Pants (available for both male and female dolls) is dreamy and I really fell for it when I saw it, the pieces are lovely together but so versatile and will work in many different styles with a lot of different colours - this is a set I'm for sure super excited about. On the second floor my eye immediately went to the magenta of the Velour Diamond Pattern Sweater and Shorts set, what a cute co-ord^ The set has a nice fit on the doll and I just adore the colour, I think that's gonna be a super fun one to style year-round and I have some fun ideas for it already. And I also love the other co-ord on the floor, the Fendi Leather Baloon Top and Brown Skirt, the pleated details are great along with the colour and the fit on the doll as well as the fun design elements especially on the top. These fell like classic designer pieces that my wardrobe needs!  The third and final floor is one I am a little sad about because I missed some great pieces from here: would have loved the Versace Ochre Pocket Sweater, looks amazing fit and such a great colour, and the Green Tucked Sweater, which is in such a beautiful jewel green tone and again the fit looks fab on the doll, but oh well, I'll be keeping an eye on the Bazaar once the collection becomes sellable XD But I did pick up the Green Leather Belt Skirt and I'm so happy with it, this is a great Autumn/Winter piece, the length is great and the colour is beautiful - while it looks fantastic in all green in the store, I do think it will work well with other colours too. One piece I'm still thinking about is the Yellow Fur Ferrari Jacket, there's still a lot of it left in the Plaza so I can think about it for a few days, but I'm just not sure - I think the fit is very nice on the doll, I love the colour a lot, and the fur texture is a fun touch, but there's something about it which I'm just not 100% about and I can't put my finger on it! Would love to see some stylings of this one to help me decide.

F E A T U R E S
First up is METAPHYSICAL who wears both the Reversed Structured Dress and Embroidered Grey Sweater layered together for a cute Winter-ready look. The dress for sure is the focus here, adding simply to it with accessories has worked nicely to really let that structure shine through. The black base of boots and gloves also makes the grey stand out, and I love the light bag here, perfect design and style for the look^
Next is Campestra who wear the set of the PiedDePoule Lace Top, Panties and Pants - of course the items naturally look good together but this styling is perfect for them^ Again with this look it's simple additions, but this furry coat just really looks amazing with the checked print of the trio, the orange pops beautifully. What works really nicely is the base colour accessories, going for black and grey rather than orange, I think that's a very nice touch =)
Fashion icon Sarah_1980 of course makes a whole look from the collection, wearing the Sphere Gold Earrings, Orange Furry Chanel Sweater, LE Black Belt, Green Leather Belt Skirt, Fendi Round Structured Bag and Diesel Pocket Boots - what perfection together! The skirt and sweater together really makes the black in the sweater stand out almost as green which I really like, and love the green with the reds and oranges. The accessories are perfect colours with the clothing, and I think the style of the belt and boots are both perfect with that of the skirt!
Super light and ready for Spring is Claudentia styling the Belted Striped Shirt Male and I just love the light and lilac tones throughout this, super cute^ The colour of the shirt fits perfectly with the panelling of skirt and I just love that so much, these pieces look like they were made for each other. The accessorising is perfectly complementary, the yellow scarf fits with the top skirt panel, and the socks and shoes in pale pink is great with the lilac - so genius!
Also styling up the Green Leather Belt Skirt is Mery.- and already these looks are showing the versatility of the piece, this is another perfect look with the piece. Love the mix of colours here, the light green and yellow make this look ready for Spring, while the dark overcoat and brown boots are Autumn perfection. Together I think it fits really nicely and overall the sheen of the skirt really stands out nicely and draws the attention in^
And last but certainly not least, is glamourousbit wearing the Tucked Layered Brown Shirt and MiuMiu Brown Socks in a very cute preppy look, I love all the layering work here! This is casual and ready for Spring^ The shirt colouring is perfect with the rest of the look, especially with the belt on the skirt and the leather black of the skirt itself too. This makes a perfect balance with the brown socks and the chunky loafers. The blue bag is such a fun touch and I really like that pop of a contrasting colour =)
