Dior!

Sorry if you haven't seen the SS13 collection and I'm spoiling it for you, but I am in love with this one look:
Cut-out dress with neon on the inside, pastel bag and metallic heels - what more can you ask for!!!

Sunday Challenge

So I'm pretty bored(well I should be writing my lab report, but my graphs are all going wrong!!!) so I decided I'd give myself a little Sunday challenge in the Star Bazaar =)
I gave myself a budget of 15 SD's and decided to see what I could get! It's a tiny budget, but with the Star Bazaar anything is possible =)
I think I definitely got lucky with the searches today, I managed to get this Hotbuys Dress from June 2008 for only 8 SD's and I got this Givenchy Khaki Lockdown Belt for just 3 SD's!
I think the dress can be hard to pull off - I've never seen anyone wear it well at all( might be a little challenge for some of you guys - post an imgur link below if you come up with something great!), so I only just came up with something simple for it:
Pretty sure none of it matches - oh well!
I'm yet to come up with the perfect outfit for the belt, will definitely put it on my to-do list for the next few days!

Do you guys want to take part in the Sunday Challenge? If so comment below with your SD username and why you want to take part and maybe your top finds will be featured next week!

Oh my gosh that jean jacket!

Ok, so since featuring the Jean Jacket a couple of days back I have become so attached to it! I first wore the yellow skirt outfit(with the addition of a gold belt), then yesterday I wore this:
And then I just put this together:
I literally cannot stop making outfits with it!

Do you guys have a favourite look with the Jean Jacket? Let me know in comments =)

P.S. Trying out a new hair, what do you guys think? I think it brings out a different side to my doll which I love!

Something to look out for ...

I've been meaning to post about this blog for such a long time as it's given me a lot of inspiration and motivation:

Anndoll88's blog is the first(I believe) of it's kind! It's all about interiors on stardoll, and for me it really stands out in the crowd of fashion blogs that we have.
She gives lots of little tips that help make our suites look better, and she even runs a service so we can have our rooms styled by her - I just love the whole concept!
Here's a couple of examples:

Remember though, don't copy! You can look as inspiration, but don't copy!

I love searching for interior design websites online, and there are many great ones! You'll be sure to find one that suits you =) I have so many pictures saved in my inspiration folder, I just need to put the effort into decorating a room(or 2 or 3 ... !) now!

Jean Jacket

Another styled outfits post, this time with the Jean Jacket from It Girls:
It's an absolute bargain at 84SC's, and you can do so much with it! [click to enlarge!]
I think I've come up with 3 very different looks for this jacket, there's a more serious one with the blue trousers, a very casual one with the mint trousers, and then the fun one with the yellow skirt(though any bright colour would look fab with it!!!) I think they all are super cute and fashionable, how will I choose which to wear first?!?!

Let me know what you think!

Camouflage Print Skirt

So here as promised is a styled outfits post, and the item I've chosen(which I think I promised a while ago too!) is the Camoflague Print Skirt[though I'd spell it Camouflage!]:
This skirt came out ages ago and has recently been returned to us in the Archive store to the delight of many as Camouflage has soared in trend-rating recently! I love the skirt, though sometimes I doubt it it's my style or not, however I've put together 3 different outfits for you to have a look at! (click to enlarge)

Somehow they've all ended up with quite a dark theme - not sure how, I guess black goes well with camouflage! I think all three outfits, although have a similar theme, all have some originality and do show clear differences.
I'm not sure which one I like most, but what do you guys think? Which is your favourite of the 3?

Oh, and does anyone have an item they want styled? Let me know in comments!

Quick little Stardoll update!

So I mailed Stardoll earlier asking about trading - I wanted them to clarify if it was against the rules or not, and here is the reply I received:
So basically it's not against the rules, but they advise against it. But that's not what made me interested, it was their last comment - so they are working on a safe trading system! Made me very happy as this is something that many people have been looking for for ages! Although how long it will take to come out is another matter!

Finding a treasure =)

I really haven't been in a Stardoll state of mind recently. I come on everyday, earn my points, check my notifications, do a bit of sale advertising and maybe change my outfit, and then I leave because there's honestly nothing interesting happening - I feel like I would rather learn the muscles of the face instead(and trust me, it's a massive chore!)

But anyway, I was having a browse in the Bazaar this evening, looking for a particular Olive Sweater from It Girls(in case anyone wants to sell it to me^^), and I saw this pair of trousers which I've never seen before:
The ones I saw were 13[price may vary], I see that as a reasonable price to take a risk with - I had no idea if they would fit my doll nicely or if they would be easy to style, and I have to say I'm so glad I parted with my money for them! I quickly put together this outfit, which I am super happy with! I know not everyone will see it as stylish or trendy or working well as a combination, but I think it does!
What do you guys think of it?
I think it's beginning to inspire me to get back into blogging, and more specifically, write my styled outfits posts again! I loved doing those before, and I really feel I want to make time to do them now =)

What has really started to have a profound inspiration on me is reading into fashion blogging much more now, for about a year now I've been reading countless amazing fashion blogs, they are all of different styles and run their blogs differently and each person leads a different life to the one next to them - but all of them together have really made me think more(and also less) about putting outfits together(both in RL and on SD), and I think it's given my style a new view on life! I really don't know how to describe it =)

Lots of love,
K xxx

Something to look out for ...

So I haven't done one of these posts in ages, but you'll definitely want to pay attention to this post if you love hearing about Stardoll magazines!
Just released is the first issue of Beauty by --Kayley, and I have to say - it's beautiful!!! And amazing and stunning - there aren't enough great words to describe it, it's honestly worth a chunk of your day to go and look at it!
This image is just their super stylish header - I honestly don't want to spoil any of the magazine for you!
They have the magazine displayed in this ultra cool magazine style, so it's great to flick through just like a real magazine! And you can view it in full screen - I really advise you do!
Please let me (and the magazine!) know what you think!

Did Prada *know*?

So as I was writing that last post on Prada there, I decided to take a look at a couple of other collections, and I chose the Pre-Fall 2010, and looking at it, it's like they knew what would be 'in' today! They have an oversized coat, camouflage, chunky knits and more! I find it unbelievable - I love it!!!
Here's just a couple of examples, I love the chunky knit especially, plus it's pink!
I'd love to see some more camouflage in the StarPlaza(could be a market here for some StarDesigners!), Stardoll already treated us this week with the camouflage skirt in the Archive store which I'm oh so excited to show you my stylings for a bit later on. I'd love to see a good camouflage jacket, something loose and not fitted, but maybe with a little structure, a guys jacket could be quite good, and it would look perfect with some rock-style shorts or some skinnies, I have many good outfit ideas for it, I just need it to exist first!!!

Pucci also did a nice oversized coat that season:

It's verging on cape, but I do still like the style and lots of different styles are classed as oversized these days. I love the combination of items used in this outfit, keeping with classic colours and minimal print usage always works nicely! I do kinda want this exact one on Stardoll =) It would be perfect for the upcoming autumn and winter months.

Prada love!

Sorry I haven't posted in a very long time, I've been doing other things and often forget about blogging! Bad K - tut tut tut! Anyway, on with the post!

I love Prada! Just as I was browsing some old fashion spreads, I came across this one from Vogue Australia with the beautiful feminine clothes that Prada gave us that season(Fall 2010 RTW): [Louis Vuitton gave us some too, might be a post on that later]
It made me reminisce at how much I loved the collection and how much I want it for my dolly! I wasn't into that style when it was out in the Plaza so I'll need to search the bazaar if I really want to snap up some of these items, but I can't help thinking how nice they are!
Picture from seen on STARDOLL
I love the ruffles necklines and the full skirts of these outfits, I think they're glamorous and elegant, for me, what I'm looking for in an outfit. The shoes are something I also love from that season - those little bows are adorable!(We had a pair like these in the Plaza)

The detail on this top is great, when you look at the full size image you can see so well, but it's just amazing! I've always been a fan of beading, but I think seeing images like this makes me love it more!

Plus this lace detailing looks great, normally you'd see lace all over the light typically feminine colours, but I love it here with the dark purples and the black.

These shoes have to be my absolute favourite from the collection! Who could turn down a beautiful black beaded court shoe like this!
Here's just a few other shots from the collection, we saw these clothes in the plaza too.

That's all for now, but I have already got a couple more Prada posts in mind! So you'll probably have another today!!!

Let me know your thoughts on this Prada collection!
