Y O U N G H O L L Y W O O D | Release Review

Yesterday came with a brand new Young Hollywood collection - and it's been a while since we've had one I think! The homepage ad is definitely a seller, but I would have loved some sort of resemblance of the stars who originally wore the pieces to be wearing them in it.

So the floor is filled with pretty gowns and dresses along with a host of shoes and bags to go with them. There's also an outfit for the guys. Now it is a limited collection and I missed it by being at work yesterday, however even today there are still some pieces left for purchase - and it's open to everyone and isn't limited to SS members, this is a huge bonus and I applaud Stardoll for that =)

I loved the selection of dresses and I do think there was a good varied choice with both long and short options. There was also a fair selection of colours - but my favourite definitely comes from the white corner of the store in the form of the Jennifer White Gown, however the Demi Wraparound Dress is a close second. I love seeing the orange and blues there because I think they definitely stand out in a crowd. As well as the dresses there are a couple of suit-like sets for us girls, a white one and a pinstripe set, I think the Rita JPG Pants are the best of these looks and could easily fit into many wardrobes.

Now shoes and bags impressed me so much - I was far too late for any of the bags but would have particularly liked to get the Demi Olympia Clutch or the Ariana Box Clutch, both great bags and also very versatile for styling. I can totally see them with super casual looks!

Even though there are pieces left, I still haven't bought anything because with MSW coming up (on the 3rd guys, so soon!) there will most likely be another store and things to spend money on!
